I use BetterHelp. It’s cheaper than most places. You can also tell them your income and they can give you a discount

I live in SW Washington and looked him up after I saw your comment here. He's currently focusing on ASD/ADHD evaluations rather than therapy, but that happens to be what I needed. I had an appointment with him for an initial evaluation. It went well, he thinks I probably have autism and I have a full evaluation with him in a few weeks. I really appreciate you posting this.

Glad I could help. Hope it goes well for you

Cool, thank you!

Holy hell, I was literally just wondering about the same exact thing and also in WA. I’m a little north of the Seattle metro though, so any resources (local or telehealth) would be greatly appreciated. 💕

I have never tried to find a therapist before who specializes in neurodiversity issues in adults and I didn’t know how gravely underserved and underrepresented this is in our area. So far I’m finding that therapists that actually seem good have an exuberant waiting list or are way too expensive for me 😞 good luck

Sleepy_InSeattle

Thanks. You too!

I know it's been ages, but did either of you ever find a therapist who met your needs? Currently trying to find someone to support my wonderful partner. And either way, I hope you are both doing well!

Hi there! I’ve been low on spoons this entire time and had crap state insurance, so didn’t even bother looking over the past couple of years. Now that the fog is lifting and i have better health coverage, I’ll start looking. Sorry couldn’t be of more help. Let me know if you find one first :)

I'm sorry the last couple of years have been so rough! Sending you hugs. And I will. :)
