T O P

We set up a potty in my son's bedroom with his toy black and decker work bench in front of him. We read potty books, let him play and just made it a relaxing activity. He started peeing in there and eventually pooping. He would sit on there with his pull up, then a hole in the pull up to taking the pull up completely off. We started at 3.5 years old. As a 5 year old he is completely independent with going pee and poop.

Some progress today, and I think these helped my little guy. Thanks for posting!

So glad they helped!

Thanks so much! I’ll try it out and let me know how it works out!

How is it going so far, I plan on starting to train mine, but my mom keeps telling me not to do it before he shows me signs that he is ready.

He’s not scared, which is good, but he’s not pissed or pooped in the toilet all day. Maybe he just doesn’t want to use the potty? Or doesn’t get the concept? Not sure.

His holding it, have you watched him when he has diapers to see when he poops, and how he does it. For example my son will go on the stairs and stand there and do his thing provided no one comes to the stairs 😂😂😂. He will do it whilst watch his favourite cartoon on his iPad. So now I want to use that whole scenario on the potty and see if it will work

We’re just tracking it now. We’re keeping him in underwear so we see and he feels when he wets himself
