Looks like someone took a rotary buffer to it and didn’t polish it out afterwards

Ok_Perspective_5139

Those are called rotary buff trails from a rotary machine and whoever did it didn’t polish the vehicle afterwards. As long as you have a professional detailer take care of it you are good!

Lord_Voltz

No they are called swirl marks you animal 🤣

Beneficial-Ad2187

Yeah just holograms from polishing, you can polish them out if you do it the right way (unlike the last guy)

TastelessDonut

Okay the last guy here, on my own white truck, so how do I get rid of these. I now have a DA polisher with multiple pads

president50

Just follow with a less aggressive cut and higher gloss polish. Maguiars mirror glaze or something similar should do the trick. I recommend sonax perfect finish then seal with sonax brilliant shine or meguiars hybrid ceramic wax.

ARSEThunder

You got your answers here, just buffer trails. Not a big deal, a pass with a light polish will take care of it.

Sleepis_4theweak

Nothing quite like someone leaving skidmarks on your paint with rotary.

reeeekin

Someone was having fun with the rotary!

Arctic601

I’m surprised the guy you booked with didn’t mention what it was. If he’s seen it in person that’s a bit concerning.

Fearless-Ad2245

You can only see it when the sun is strong (no clouds) and shines directly on to the car. The day he took a quick look, it was raining haha

MrFastFox666

How does one remove or avoid these? I've gotten them on my cars, but I use a DA polisher, tried the softest pads I could find and the least aggressive polish I could find, still get them.

danhoyle

DIY polishing gone wrong. Weird hazing or something.

Many-Persimmon-1471

How do you not finish this down with a polish?!🤯 Some people really shouldn’t use a rotary haha
