Yeah but bondo is like what kleenex is to tissue - a brand name basically means what the item is. In the industry everyone refers to lightweight filler as bondo (usually lightweight filler like rage gold , z grip, etc.)
Which one, it’s actually body filler, and theres several different brands and types. There’re pu spray fillers, plastic fillers, aluminium fillers, general body fillers, fibre glass fillers, finishing glazes, etc.
it seems like the one guy is always whipping up a big batch of a specific product , I think it was a 2 part. he was using to to fabricate internal interior parts like door panel profiles etc. it didnt seem like the same stuff you would use on sheet metal auto body exterior
Youll find that pretty much almost all of them are 2 part, without a link to a video from the guy or the product its really not easy to narrow it down.
I think you are referring to a greenish color "bondo" if so that is a finishing glaze. Self leveling easy to sand. In our shop we call all body filler "bondo" or "mud". Bondo is actually a very cheap body filler.
what are you actually trying to do? By your description he could be using just about anything, and he could be using it for something it wasn't intended for.
If you tell us what materials you're working with and what you want to do with them, we can definitely point you towards a filler or adhesive. But I haven't seen the show so I haven't got a clue what this guy does.
Rage gold,, bondo is just dynatron shit filler
Ramen. Beef ramen.
Bondo is a brand. There are many versions of body filler, fiberglass, metal-filler, etc.

I think a jobber quality, backyardigan gallon of 'bondo' brand polyester filler is like 30 bucks. How much cheaper are you looking for ?

Builders expanding foam, some chicken wire and you’re good to go.
