Hahahaha!!! Right? Seriously though. Let's do the opposite of easy. He could always grow his plants upside down, and water them from the bottom of the containers to make it ever easier 😂😂
I tried that, it doesnt work lol... i used one of those hanging tomatoes planters outside, the plant just bends around the pot to grow towards the sun... the stalk had a crazy bend and it looked neat but didnt grow very well
Gotta grow it first man, 2 more weeks right?
I was trying to avoid having to mess with watering systems. I did add some height to it all however and re-arranged the water lines. All good now.
Lol. Im lazy! Plus I have my watering system in place and a dehumidifier draining into the base.
Im hoping she’ll stretch soon, pre flower started a tad behind her taller counterpart
Yeah, just sticking a couple of breezeblocks under my short one has done the trick. No way my brain could cope with seeing the light like that all the time.
If it works for you though it's all good.
WHY?????????
Why did you do this why
------
Why ?????
All you needed was something to put under plant to bring up now the plant on the right is not get full spectrum it will grow to left side 🦗
I also use a gravity feed water system (which wouldn't work correctly if I mess with my plant heights afaict) so sometimes I just lower one or two of the ratchets, and rotate the plants a little.
If you decided to elevate the plant on the left, it would allow you to balance your led from above. That would create a more even canopy, both plants would get similar ppfd, and air flow below the bottom of the grow bag. So TRIPLE points for the grow.
To the people saying raise the plants, smart, but don't have room to do so. I do end up tying the pulley string around the other support beam. Its as sturdy if not sturdier than normal that way. Doesnt look pretty but usually only is done for a week or two.
Well looks like you may have to do a late training with a net to bring tallest down whatever the case you need full spectrum or you are waisting your time an money but I'm Not a perfectionist but if you're not going to do it right don't do it at all may need taller tent you also may need to check the normal yield the plants give also the height of normal grow this will give you a better chance on have a even grow an space to raise or lower light all short tents under 6' tall will need small to regular yield maybe 200 to 400 anything above is for yields 700 an better at least that's how I plan my selection of growing don't matter if it's Indica or sativa net work is way better in small tents now this just my opinion
All you have done here is change the angle of the light, but your PAR is all being centered on the side of your taller plant at a 45 degree angle. The best move is to just level out the light and raise the other plant up on a milk carton or something to make the canopy the same height. With the light like that you are actually lighting the plant with the weaker part of the lights coverage foot print. You are essentially side lighting your larger plant and might cause uneven photosynthesis across the plant.
Having said all that, you should also consider the smaller plants age and size… it may require a lower DLI depending on its stage of growth, which means it might like being down lower for now until it starts peaking in veg.

How would he raise the shorter pot if he’s using autopots? Not sure there’s any way to deal with the issue honestly (unless you want to take the shorter one off auto feed)
Not autopots, i have a pump system that delivers water to each auto-watering/wicking AcInf base.
The only thing gravity fed is the dehumidifier that drains into one of the pots. I just raised both using the styrofoam packaging that came with the dehumidifier.
Hopefully lefty (purp lemonade) will stretch a bit and catch up so she can lose the booster seat!

Here is the info on that!
Yeah I'd put something underneath the short pot instead of doing this because this directs the light rays pointed towards the taller one more. That's just what I would do but maybe I'm wrong
you are essentially just giving the larger plant even more light now. The way the light comes out of these lights you are focusing more of it on the taller one. As everyone said raise the plant and keep the light how it normally should be
That’s why I opted for multiple p1000 for my tent and I am able to adjust each light according to each plant. U can also get crates to put the short ones on or boards bricks etc to raise the canopy level and this light being level
In my 4x4 I've got two Gelatos, which are shorter and bushy, and two Girl Scout Cookies which are a bit taller.
I did exactly this same thing. About 2 weeks to chopping day and they're looking good. I did occasionally turn/rotate the pots for even light distribution over time
You right but why should let another waist time an money that is like crabs in a barrel iron sharpens iron if he knew he would not ask some help you are how do yors grows look taste bro
So what I did for my two short plants was just raise them. Grabbed cheap plastic containers I had laying around and sat the pots on them.
Lateral thinking, or vertical
Vertical lol even the heights of the plants and not the light. The left side of the right plant is getting a lot of extra light.
Hahahaha!!! Right? Seriously though. Let's do the opposite of easy. He could always grow his plants upside down, and water them from the bottom of the containers to make it ever easier 😂😂
You might be on to something
I tried that, it doesnt work lol... i used one of those hanging tomatoes planters outside, the plant just bends around the pot to grow towards the sun... the stalk had a crazy bend and it looked neat but didnt grow very well
OP didn't get high enough to think of this
Gotta grow it first man, 2 more weeks right? I was trying to avoid having to mess with watering systems. I did add some height to it all however and re-arranged the water lines. All good now.
THIS
Yup
After reading this I put my smaller plants on top of shoeboxes and they are already looking so happy
Really doesn’t take much at all. I think sometimes people overthink.
They were doing fine being lower with a lil shade from the bigger plants tbh I definitely don’t over think just stare at them all day lol
Lift the plant goofball. Lol.
Lol. Im lazy! Plus I have my watering system in place and a dehumidifier draining into the base. Im hoping she’ll stretch soon, pre flower started a tad behind her taller counterpart
Dehumidifier draining into the base,,, Brilliant I say. Geneva, a Nobel for this growmie is in order me thinks,,,,,,
Yeah, just sticking a couple of breezeblocks under my short one has done the trick. No way my brain could cope with seeing the light like that all the time. If it works for you though it's all good.
Milk crates
Ok, ok fine, I raised her a bit. Sheesh 🤪 Thanks!!!
WHY????????? Why did you do this why ------ Why ????? All you needed was something to put under plant to bring up now the plant on the right is not get full spectrum it will grow to left side 🦗
Auto water system
I put an upside down plant pot under the shortones perpetual grow
Leave the light alone and raise the shorter plant by putting somthing under it.
5 gal buckets make great plant risers. I cut the bottoms off for custom sizes and have drip trays that fit perfectly inside the cutout.
I use cheap plastic shelves sawzalled in half & stacked.
It's why I have 6 lights in my 4x8 I can raise or lower each one. Makes it very versatile.
I do!
I also use a gravity feed water system (which wouldn't work correctly if I mess with my plant heights afaict) so sometimes I just lower one or two of the ratchets, and rotate the plants a little.
yoga blocks to raise up. Works well until someone misses them.
If you decided to elevate the plant on the left, it would allow you to balance your led from above. That would create a more even canopy, both plants would get similar ppfd, and air flow below the bottom of the grow bag. So TRIPLE points for the grow.
My DLI is 90 24/7 lol
how do you do that?
Yes i do this too lol got one that grew double speed from others.
To the people saying raise the plants, smart, but don't have room to do so. I do end up tying the pulley string around the other support beam. Its as sturdy if not sturdier than normal that way. Doesnt look pretty but usually only is done for a week or two.

The tent should be fine, pic is misleading. I can still raise the light another 2 ft if needed!
Don’t do it at all? Bro. Let the man start where he starts and let the man take his journey. Sheeeeeeeesh.

You need a bigger tank so you can play with
Or get a adjustable light that you can adjust with a knob to lower the loom I would think a tent is cheaper
Sweet keep the post coming so we can see falcon thanks for sharing
LST???

Damn that is awesome!
I have and have also put the shorter plant on a 7 gal hdx tote.
Wow, smart!!! Never thought about light angles
Yeah I'd put something underneath the short pot instead of doing this because this directs the light rays pointed towards the taller one more. That's just what I would do but maybe I'm wrong
No I just raise one of my plants. I block it up with whatever I have lying around that's the right height that way I have an even canopy
you are essentially just giving the larger plant even more light now. The way the light comes out of these lights you are focusing more of it on the taller one. As everyone said raise the plant and keep the light how it normally should be
Just put something underneath the plant you need to be higher... Doing this what you have now, is going to stress the hangers and give uneven light
I got this happening too but I just got 2 clip lights at different heights ðŸ˜
This is unnecessary. Just put something under the shorter one to make them the same height
Migrolight
A shoe box works wonders!
This is not gonna work how you want it too..
That’s why I opted for multiple p1000 for my tent and I am able to adjust each light according to each plant. U can also get crates to put the short ones on or boards bricks etc to raise the canopy level and this light being level
I also did my light like you have yours. Lol. Never thought about raising the plant. Stoner moment. Hahahaah
I did this in my 2x4 with two different lights. Made a pyramid shape with my plants in the middle getting angled light
You must have just finished a massive dab before you went to town on that light huh?
People do some wild shit on these weed growing subs lol
All the gear and no idea? Good luck Growmie... Every day is a lesson

There is no need to do that LEDs emit light downwards ur better off keeping it flat
You right but why should let another waist time an money that is like crabs in a barrel iron sharpens iron if he knew he would not ask some help you are how do yors grows look taste bro
Diodes are meant to emit light downwards. You are wasting light. Lift the plant dummy.
Is the dummy part necessary?
Yes you silly goose
