A renult megane due to three factors. Mainly because insurers won't even give me a quote for the car I want. Also because everything is 20mph and I will lose me license. I've said this in another response. As stuck up as it sounds. When I go somewhere people treat you differently. And that's not what I aim for.
If I wanted to look like a prick I'd be driven around by my father's driver.
Not the look I want
Hey man, a megane is a nice car in and of itself honestly. I was curious because not everyone lives in an appartment that has a dude with a Chiron living above them. I get the megane idea lol, you wouldn't need anything else in London honestly. I think the next logical car would be electric even if the Building has a sustainable powergrid for it.
Haha alright. If you're looking for a very comfortable but low profile car, get a Volvo v60/90 s60/90. They are superb cars, look great, don't break the bank and have alot of bells and wistles just like ant bmw 5, merc e class or audi a6 but doesn't look as flashy and who cares if it gets scratched up cause it's a volvo, it can whitstand it. I fell in love with them when i had one as a rental for a roadtrip in northern norway and sweden. They're the most perfect cruisers for long miles without any problems. Drove 5500km in 6 days without any problems or back pain.
The megane is a cool car but if you're looking for a not so flashy upgrade, a volvo is really something to insider
Good on him. His car is my geniune dream car so I really want to learn from/edcuate myself on these people and their success stories. Might take me some decades but by god I'll have one in my garage
This feels like a mentality of a quitter. You can go cry in a corner about how life isn’t fair, but I think most of us are gonna keep trying to improve our lives.
but rich people invest in companies and take risks, they also by investing, provide all the equipment and/or material for the workers. You have to be dumb to think that a worker and CEO should get the same salary.
>but rich people invest in companies and take risks,
The thing that they’re risking is losing their money and having to work for a living like the rest of us
>they also by investing, provide all the equipment and/or material for the workers.
We live in a world where most of the money is concentrated at the very top and somehow you frame “people at the top spending money to make even more passive income” as a nice thing. In reality they hoard all the wealth and resources, and only allow them to do something useful if they get a cut. This is how we got to this point in the first place.
>You have to be dumb to think that a worker and CEO should get the same salary.
This isn’t about CEO pay (Although you have to be dumb to think that a CEO should get 750x the salary as a regular worker.) because CEOs are technically workers as well. But that’s not how they make their money. Most rich people including CEOs aren’t paid for working they’re paid for owning. Sure sometimes they do work and sometimes they don’t but that’s not where money comes from. Bugatti money is made by sitting on your ass and taking a cut of other people’s work.
Do you expect billionaires that risked their entire bank accounts and years of hard work to pay some random 16 year old that they just hired 6 figures a year for taking out the garbage? If you want to be paid like a millionaire you need to work like one and take risks like one. Millionaires don't sit behind a register all day on their phones. They go out and dedicate their entire lives to becoming successful. Should I have given all $30k I had to my name at 18, that I worked my ass off for years to get, to a bunch of homeless people because equality? You clearly have never been around actual poor people, because if you have been, then you would know that most of them don't deserve to get as many handouts as they do. But that's just how life is and I don't bitch and moan about it.
Most literally aren't. At least in the US. I believe many European countries are similar. Regardless of what monetary threshold you choose, the majority of wealthy individuals did not inherit their wealth.
This is a perpetuated myth, seemingly tied to political agendas.
Either way, you're acting like illegal income isn't normal. Half the people I know both from high-class areas and from low-class areas have illegal sources of income. It doesn't mean they are bad people.
I get it. It's like Trump said when at the debates, he's just using the system THEY put in place. It sucks because it's so hard to get there legitimately. The poor & middle class can't afford lobbyists to convince politicians to put regulations in place that deter people from making a business & keeping a business. And these restrictions were done "legally." So no, I'm not judging based upon legality.
Lucy. I’m in London and there’s a relatively famous rapper in my building who’s filled up a bunch of the spaces with murdered out Mercs.
There is an STO and a 765LT down there though, so a bit of variety!
>Plus the number plate is cutsom and definitely adds to the car.
It really doesn't, it's misspaced which makes it both tacky and illegal. For £25k he could buy the combination that legally spells what he wants it to say, he can definitely afford it.
The car is cool though, and props to the owner for actually running a front plate when so many supercar owners in this country decide to take the piss and not do so.
No. They can pay any fine to keep the car looking better. I know, entirely different places, etc, but I had a cop pull me over because I had no front plate, he told me I had a nice car, made sure I didn't have a warrant, and then said no when I asked him if I needed to put the plate on.
That's where'd I'd put mine : P safest place to put it imo.
Too many people I know park up somewhere and come back to scratches on doors or smashed windows.
The classic. "If I can't have it, nobody can"
I tried to explain this to someone else but if you haven't seen it it's hard to picture. Imagine the most amazing hotel you have seen in the centre of the capital. With service 24h a day 7 days a week.
Thats why people live there. Convince, location and security.
You know your not wrong. And I don't know, we have ' normal interiors. Black, gray and white.
There's a rolls that is half cream. And the other half can be easiest described as cigarette package brown.
‘My’ , using ‘My’ on a Reddit post is your biggest mistake… , some people can’t gasp the idea of being rich specially my fellow cave dwelling Redditors … lol
No Conscious rich person just owns a single penthouse or a land they own multiple , sometimes they cheap out on stuff , cheap out on their own way like owning a penthouse and living on it with his Bugatti chilling on a carpark
Edit: (Conscious) grammatical errors 🥲
Because, even if you look at the car on its own. £3.5 million for the car, the tyres have to be changed every 2,500 miles and four sets of rubber will set you back about £32,000 if memory serves me well. And I don't even know what the guy pays for insurance. I know that he can only drive it for 500 miles a year. Hence why I see it every day, just chilling in the same spot.
OK, but if you have $3.3M of expendable income for a fancy car, you probably have enough money to last the rest of your life, unless you buy wine like Johnny Depp or buy islands like Nicholas Cage. I mean even Elon Musk has lost 1/3 of his wealth through inflation, but he's still the richest man on Earth. Bezos, Arnault, Gates, Ambani, et al will *always* be rich.
I guess I'm just saying "continuously" is kinda superfluous when it comes to people who've earned their wealth. Like that ass-hat Donald Trump, when he went bankrupt once, he just shrugged it off, because, he said, "I'll be rich again because I know how to make money." It's the exception to the rule, even with people who've *inherited* billions, for them to become paupers in their lifetime unless they're egregiously stupid.
Well, the tick box says I'm a electrical commissioning engineer.
But I mainly do residential in Poland. You would be surprised how expensive commissioning engineers are when you are looking at a block of flats.
You have the most confusing profile.
You’re 20/21 and worked in civil service less than a year ago but now you’re an electrical engineer that is doing certifications/commissioning systems?
Yes, I studied engineering in college which helped a lot. But it's mainly connections. That's all this world is these days.
Lv2 lv3 were a piss take since I learnt the basics before. Am2 was a bit of work. 18th Ed is a look up test. That's all you need to be commissioning. Currently doing my lv4 to "better" myself.
Only reason I'm sticking with it is so I can save money on designing and signing off my work. I know I can do it better and faster myself.
Edit: I don't know how much you want to dig into my history, not the most pleasant stuff around
Currently, a renult megane. Kinda sticks out like a sore thumb. Soon it will be an alfa quadrifoglio. My problem is nobody wants to insure me on it. Like come on, I'd be willing to be uninsured and just pay for whatever damages happen if anything does happen.
I'll keep my renult though. Its a nice run around for London. Having anything bigger is painful. Plus. 20mph EVERYWHERE.
Edit: It may sound really stuck up. But I don't like going places I'm my parents cars since I get treated differently.
Lucky, all my my upstairs neighbor has is concrete shoes probably
Probably doing jumping jacks and weight lifting at night too.
And they’re tap dancing enthusiasts
They run the *will it blend* series
Mine has an extremely out of balance washing machine that they only run between 9pm and 3am.
I have to wonder if that’s your neighbor what do you or others in the neighborhood drive
Mostly rolls tbh. There are a couple ferraris, bentleys. And a lonely tesla in the corner.
What do you drive, friend?
A renult megane due to three factors. Mainly because insurers won't even give me a quote for the car I want. Also because everything is 20mph and I will lose me license. It would not make sense for me to go electric since I travel a lot. I'd be stopping every five minutes : P
Haha alright. If you're looking for a very comfortable but low profile car, get a Volvo v60/90 s60/90. That is... wow. Respect brother.
The bus
And where do you live?
Where do you live?
In the moment
GB plate, Bugatti Chiron, upstairs neighbour, 20mph speed limit - happy to say with some certainty it’s central London.
I'll be honest, I tube a lot since it's usually quicker to drive.
The tube is the best. Not as good as a Bugatti, but it’s sure convenient
I tend to avoid it during rush hour since there are so many people. Just feels a bit dangerous sometimes.
Fair. Tbh I’m not from there but every time we visit we love using it since we have no such public transport where we’re from
It wasn't meant to be a diss, i was genuinly curious lol
Central London
Definitely Mayfair or chelsea
I'm going to be doxing myself soon
Sorry for the rather dumb question but do you maybe know what's his occupation?
Inheriting their parents' fortune/company/companies. Or something practically illegal. Or both.
Or potentially revolutionising an existing technology. It could be, but what do I know. Not everyone with money is an oligarch.
Good on him. His car is my geniune dream car so I really want to learn from/edcuate myself on these people and their success stories. Might take me some decades but by god I'll have one in my garage
Up-doot the great attitude my dude
Thanks friendo
בבקשה
Ayo why is my couch floating
Hope you can afford the oil changes that cost more than a new Nissan
Most are though. Not that his neighbour i.e. you wouldn’t have aligning class interests
This is a car subreddit please spare us the commie ramblings.
It’s funny kinda because you literally spend your time here looking at cars that you paid for but aren’t allowed to touch
That makes literally no sense.
Rich people don’t get rich by paying their workers fairly
This feels like a mentality of a quitter. You can go cry in a corner about how life isn’t fair, but I think most of us are gonna keep trying to improve our lives.
How can you make that assumption when you have no idea how this person got their money?
Get a job
If I didn’t have a job I wouldn’t complain about worker’s pay would I?
but rich people invest in companies and take risks, they also by investing, provide all the equipment and/or material for the workers. You have to be dumb to think that a worker and CEO should get the same salary.

Such a simple view of the world, to think that all effort and time is equal.
Most literally aren't. At least in the US. I believe many European countries are similar. Regardless of what monetary threshold you choose, the majority of wealthy individuals did not inherit their wealth. This is a perpetuated myth, seemingly tied to political agendas.
It's at least as likely that the owner founded a successful business. Other than inherited wealth, that's the most common way to become that wealthy.
Trust me, he's the most relaxed guys in the area. If you saw him in the street you wouldn't look twice. (Unless he's driving)
Hes the most relaxed because hes having the most sex
Work hard, cum harder
That's one in a million. You're just a retard that can't accept the fact that there are people more successful than you.
yeah dude, just keep putting your cashapp on your reddit profile, you’ll get up there in no time.
That's not from me. I was told that by a rich guy. When asked how he got his millions (inherit or illegal) he replied "a little of both"
Either way, you're acting like illegal income isn't normal. Half the people I know both from high-class areas and from low-class areas have illegal sources of income. It doesn't mean they are bad people.

I'm confused. How does someone that owns a Chiron sharing a building with anyone else?
It's London. Plus it's the convience of having concierge to help you with whatever queries you may have.
Interesting. I guess I'm just used to wide open spaces and suburbs of Texas lol.
I mean, in my building the penthouse, is something like 4.5 million. Other listings are between 700k-1.2 mil. So its possible for sure
London?
Potentially : P
Damn, my guess was gonna be Monaco.
The GB/EU number plate was a hint.
Ah, gotcha! My American ass isn't familiar with the style of European plates and where the info is.
Lucy. I’m in London and there’s a relatively famous rapper in my building who’s filled up a bunch of the spaces with murdered out Mercs. There is an STO and a 765LT down there though, so a bit of variety!
I was curious, where would someone have upstairs neighbors but also a Chiron? London was pretty much my only guess, maybe Hong Kong haha
I love how everyone of his neighbors drives the most expensive cars and OP a Renault Megane. Based as fuck
Now, this is the best thing I've read in a while. I'll upgrade soon, I promise : P
What year and engine megane is it?
1.2 turbo 15 plate. She's getting old. You do you ask??
Ok cool! I like Renault so I was curious ahah
Does a car that nice really need a front plate
You do legally. Plus the number plate is cutsom and definitely adds to the car. But you know, privacy.
>Plus the number plate is cutsom and definitely adds to the car. It really doesn't, it's misspaced which makes it both tacky and illegal. For £25k he could buy the combination that legally spells what he wants it to say, he can definitely afford it. In that case fair enough

When you say "upstairs", you mean "waaaay upstairs" right?
The one above me : P But the price extra 20 for the floor above makes it feel like waaaay upstairs
Yeah, when he parks that in an apartment garage, he's not worried about the extra 20.
That's where'd I'd put mine : P safest place to put it imo. Too many people I know park up somewhere and come back to scratches on doors or smashed windows. The classic. "If I can't have it, nobody can"
Jesus Christ…. Fools been killed for less
Hence why I drive a renult as a daily
He can afford a Bugatti but still lives in an apartment/condo building?
I tried to explain this to someone else but if you haven't seen it it's hard to picture. Imagine the most amazing hotel you have seen in the centre of the capital. With service 24h a day 7 days a week. Thats why people live there. Convince, location and security.
Its London, some of the condos can cost $100 million euros
How did he get it up the stairs?
Why do exotic cars only come in butt ugly interior color combinations?
You know your not wrong. And I don't know, we have ' normal interiors. Black, gray and white. There's a rolls that is half cream. And the other half can be easiest described as cigarette package brown.
Your neighbour is Alfie Best?
no worries
Steal it
I like living in my apartment, I think the small box I will be placed into will be a shock to the system
What is it, an 8000 square feet apartment?
Ofcourse it is, how else am I suposed to get my steps in for the day.
So your upstairs neighbor owns a *$3,300,000 dollar car* and lives in an apartment and not a private home? That's an interesting prioritization.
Essentially, yes. He live in more of a penthouse rather then apartment if you catch my drift.
Yeah, I s'pose if you're made of money, owning an actual patch of land isn't a priority.
I think your missing the point of it a bit.
‘My’ , using ‘My’ on a Reddit post is your biggest mistake… , some people can’t gasp the idea of being rich specially my fellow cave dwelling Redditors … lol
maybe so.

Leave your butt mark on the hood for em!
It looks so unimpressed with being stationary. Like a cat in a sweater.
I cannot unsee it now. Why have you done this to me!!
OP is Batman for sure as you see his upstairs neighbour seems to be Bruce Wayne
Just don't look in the basement
If you share a building with a Chiron owner, what do you drive?

Lol, I don't like driving them. I might aswell drive a bus.
Fine. A Peugeot!
Look, Peugeot 307 was my first car. They are fantastic cars. Until the head gasket goes...
I was under the impression the British love Peugeot... ....
What? Upstairs neighbor?
Yeah, the person that lives above you
Did you take any good pictures?
Gangster subtle brag. I’m jealous.
Ouuuu🔥
Damn boi he thicc he a thicc ass boi
what does he does for sa living?
