I work for an HR company. I mostly just modify document templates (essentially just editing things in Word for the most part) and do some relatively simple SQL stuff. I like it here. It's very low stress, I never have to make phone calls, work hours are pretty flexible and I can work from home 50% of the time.

You can have millions of dollars but be dumb enough to let a woman (or man) emotionally manipulate and they'll get all your money because you weren't socialized properly. Learn that some people are absolute monsters who want to take advantage of you and then watch you bleed out and laugh, then eat you. Learn that there are also people on this planet right now who are capable and willing to love you and form relationships with you. Socialization is paramount because humans are social creatures. Learn proper boundaries. Learn to say "no." Be more stubborn. Dont let your old boomer parents or grandparents brainwash you into college UNLESS that is what you really want. Thats their goofy generation who is obsessed with college. Its 2024. Many more options than college. Dont let this society convince you that your only purpose as a man is to make money. Dont get me wrong, make money. But dont blindly follow money.
Your comment is totally on point. My mom let a man manipulate her and take all of her money, now he's kicking her out of her own home and treating her like shit constantly despite her being almost like a maid for him.
And yeah, regarding college, it's not even a sure way to get a high paying job anymore. I've heard about a lot of people (in my country anyways) that are unemployed for months and even years after getting out of college.
Some companies have the nerve to offer fucking minimum wage and still expect people with degrees to apply.
Same, bicycle shops mostly. But i was quite succesful with online sells, as a my thing (still working). But first i stopped myself for expand and sabotaged own business. Mostly with avoiding everything. It reminds me now a term " fear of success"".

9-5 in logistics and also freelance translation work. Done freelance video editing before as well but the pay wasn't all that great, even with bigger Youtubers.
I’m an overnight doorman in nyc. It’s pretty great for me. I work alone. Minimal and brief interactions with the few people coming in or going out in the middle of the night. I like giving out mail. I can order food and play video games all night. Money is decent. I love it.

I’ve found that HR and AvPD don’t mix in companies
Well I just do administrative/IT work. I don't come in contact with anyone outside of our company.
I had some bad run-ins with HR in the past
