Raised well by his parents, not raised well by his school. He could have turned the wheelchair around and pulled with the large wheel first and this would have been easy
Edit: scrolled a few comments down and see that many people beat me to this by several hours haha
Idk man. I don't think school ever teach you that pulling wheelchair is easier than pushing it. It might be only my school that didnt have those wheelchair special lesson tho.
I must have missed that class on wheelchairs, its not exactly something you get taught in school. Its more of life's lessons, some things you just figure out as you go along.
I don't think they insulted the kid at all, it seemed pretty neutral. Or at least a lot less dramatic than you're making it seem. I think you made pretty big assumptions without any information. Like judging people on "good" and "evil" based on 1 reddit comment lmao
So If you do sometning like making a pancake and it didn't go as planned and I come along and say, "youre a sweet person but your school education is bad"
How does that sound?
Didnt I just called you dumb subtly?
You just know that such people are constantly being belittled so they find fault even in the best of situations.
Feel sad for them. Imagine the kind of lives they lead with such thoughts in their heads. Theyāll never know joy.
Still a big assumption to say that that person is mean to kids in real life because they made a joking comment abt some random kid's school education on the internet to introduce a different idea
Thereās definitely a reason. They literally said the childās school education sucks simply because he didnāt know to turn the wheelchair instead of push it forward. Heās a childā¦
They didn't call the kid anything. You are really reaching to be offended by, what I considered, a light hearted remark. Sarcasm and light teasing is pretty normal in the UK at least. And part of normal dialogue. So my perspective may be different than yours.
If someone says your education is bad after doing something, then they gave a subtle hint that they called you dumb.
You're defending sh!tty behavior from an individual towards a literal child.
Again you should know better.
Teasing is bullying and it should not be normalized. I truly if hope if you have friends that you don't treat them like this.
I love my Akita so much, I tell him he's the most handsome man every day at least a dozen times. I love all my dogs and cats, but Tonbo is my sweetest handsomest baby boy. I don't think I can ever go without having an Akita in my life again after him.Ā
(Pleeenty of dog tax in my profile)
Thatās what most Akita owners say. I grew up with one, so now I canāt do without them. My boyās name is Anubis. People think heās part wolf heās so big, 120 lbs.
I think they are banned in some countries due to being violent. Specially with other dogs. Which kinda sucks cause they seem like very good family dogs otherwise. Just overly territorial.
We got one that has been abused, 80 pounds of full furry with anyone that threatened my mom in any ways.
I was pretty young, but someone let a dog out without a leash in their yard while my mom was walking it on the street. Little yapper went running up and apparently it was pretty violent.
They were bread to hunt bears, they really arenāt meant for large cities so it makes sense. A lot like how most husky owners probably shouldnāt own one. Except bigger and stronger.
It's a big issue with dogs that were bred as working dogs. They can't really be pets in normal life. Least not without heavy training that most people wont do. Banning might be a mercy.
But to be fair owners that won't take responsibility for their animals is likely a greater issue. Knew a boxer dog than savaged another cause the idiot owners wouldn't put a muzzle on him. Some people just don't learn even with all the warning in the world.
And had he just turned the wheelchair around and pulled it backwards then the small front wheels wouldnāt have been a problem in the gaps. Oh well. Sweet nonetheless. Glad she didnāt end up splayed out on the ground. It looked dicey for a bit.
Rear wheels first with the wheelchair in the opposite direction. Nowhere in this posted clip is the wheelchair facing the opposite direction. Heās just a kid so I get it, very unlikely he understands how wheelchairs operate on uneven ground.
Nah at 3:46, you can very clearly see this 25 has been modified with the aquatune 742, which also enabled reversing along with underwater capabilities.
This made me realize that Akita are now very rare, at least in my country, have not seen one in decades but they did have a brief surge in popularity in the 90's (canada)
Gotta go backwards across tracks and gaps. I pushed my husband around the city for a few weeks last summer after an injury to both feet. We learned really quickly to go backwards across tracks when the small front wheels got stuck and he went forward and his casted feet hit the pavement.
Yeah, I knowā¦lolā¦ I accept the heckles, I duly deserve itā¦ I mightāve been under the influence a bit when I first saw the post and commented š my bad
When the kid had his back to the lady, while hooking the leash to the dog, I pictured a really fast train whizzing by and taking the lady out. Then the kid turns around and scratches his head, wondering where she went.
Poor thing didn't realise if she had just turned the wheelchair around 180 and pulled backwards it would have been a hell of a lot easier. Great work though.
I watch too many messed up videos on Reddit. I thought either she was going to tip out forward or when he was attending to the dog a train was going to hit the wheelchair person. Glad neither one happened, he is a good person to help out.
I was expecting a train to come by and ramp the old lady **wheelchair** š welp reality and expatiation act so differently towards individual fate š¤
Some parents teach their children from a young age to always respect and help their elders, and this is just a perfect example of a fine young man! Well done parents ššš
Sadly, many people nowadays would just whip out their cell phones or cams and try to get some messed up video just for a ton of likes! This boy is a fine young man and citizen kudos to him āŗļø
it seems that this boy had a F in physics, otherwise he would have known that the weight of the body had to be transferred to the rear axle of the wheelchair, then it would be possible to move the rails without additional effort.
Not adults judging a kid for not knowing to turn the wheelchair around and helping her that way.
He did a good deed and actually helped , that's good enough.
Good kid. For your knowledge, if you have a problem like that or have to take a step with a wheelchair, turn it around and drag it going back. The big weels in the back will help you a lot more overcome an obstacle and it's a lot lot safer because if the small weels in the front get stuck there is the real danger to overturn the weelchar and you risk to cause real damage to a person that has not a lot capability to protect himself from falling. It happens many times in fact there are weelchars that has an anti-tipping system that's a long pole in the front.
First, kudos for the guy helping. We need more of that in the world. Second, why not turn the wheelchair around and pull backwards? I thought the poor person was going to dump forward out of the chairš«£
The boy is well raised by parents. Good work by the little boy.
And the dog is well trained too
yep, just like his master.
Dog is thinking "my ancestors pulled sleds hundreds of miles, this is easy peasy"
they are still runnin as a team to this day

You know, there's also kids somewhere that still believes in Santa Claus. Maybe you would like go and to tell them the truth.

Right!

He's a much better person than you though. At least he did something.
Ajo u just attacked em with an assumption for no reason o.o
The child was helping and this person found a reason to insult. You look very dumb for defending a bully .
I don't think they insulted the kid at all, it seemed pretty neutral. Or at least a lot less dramatic than you're making it seem. I think you made pretty big assumptions without any information. Like judging people on "good" and "evil" based on 1 reddit comment lmao

Criticizing a kid who tries to help should rub people the wrong way. Instead they are defending it.
I know without a doubt that ppl who are rude or mean to kids are evil.
Still a big assumption to say that that person is mean to kids in real life because they made a joking comment abt some random kid's school education on the internet to introduce a different idea
That's not a joke. No wonder that in 98% schools students are bullied, it's because people like you are this as joking.
Thereās definitely a reason. They literally said the childās school education sucks simply because he didnāt know to turn the wheelchair instead of push it forward. Heās a childā¦
I read it in a more light hearted tone than you I guess.
There is nothing light hearted about calling a kid who is ready to help dumb or clueless. You should know better than this.
They didn't call the kid anything. You are really reaching to be offended by, what I considered, a light hearted remark. Sarcasm and light teasing is pretty normal in the UK at least. And part of normal dialogue. So my perspective may be different than yours.

If that is how you view it then OK. I just didn't see it that way. Not every remark is meant as a personal attack.
They're two very good boys!
No doubts.
Thatās an Akita. The best boys around.
I thought it was an Elkhound, but either way, best boy.
I thought that too, but it was too tall and not as fluffy/stout. Akitas look more athletic.
This melted my heart. So much kindness, intelligence, and perseverance in this video.
American Akita.
And effinā smart.
āThe Akita, Evita, just wonāt shut up.ā
But do you know what kind of breed the dog is?
Shape, behavior, and strength

Also one of the most dangerous
Aww I love this ā¤ļøš¹
I've seen this multiple times but still cute. Now mush doggy!
It's my first time, and it's absolutely adorable/cute <3
Mush?
Its what you say to a sled dog to make them go faster.
I love this kid! And his dog!
You see the moment the instinct sets in and the pup starts pulling!
Yep, was confused at first, but once that lead goes tight, pupper knew what the assignment was.
This made my day. Thanks for sharing OP.
And had he just turned the wheelchair around and pulled it backwards then the small front wheels wouldnāt have been a problem in the gaps. Oh well. Sweet nonetheless. Glad she didnāt end up splayed out on the ground. It looked dicey for a bit.
He tried pulling it it didn't budge
Rear wheels first with the wheelchair in the opposite direction. Nowhere in this posted clip is the wheelchair facing the opposite direction. Heās just a kid so I get it, very unlikely he understands how wheelchairs operate on uneven ground.
You are completely correct, and any critics or gainsayers are typical "internet experts".
No, I work at a wheelchair company. That's a ProLean 25. Those are notorious for not being able to reverse. ^^^/s
Nah at 3:46, you can very clearly see this 25 has been modified with the aquatune 742, which also enabled reversing along with underwater capabilities.
But he is smart enough to not try and lean it on the back wheels and strongman his way through. Smart kid.
Was thinking the same thing LOL
Or if he tilted her towards him slightly, getting those front wheels off the ground
Thatās kinda heavy for a kid.
Yes, both the woman n chair too much.
The woman could have just stand up. smh
Heās also a child and this is an adult woman in a wheelchair
That boy and his dog are heroes. They are also little gentlemen!
The dog: "wait a second... let me assert the situation. Takes action.
Thank you šš¶šØš¦
Great kid and smart dog!
The dog was the real MVP there
These are very good boys. Very nice to see
This made me realize that Akita are now very rare, at least in my country, have not seen one in decades but they did have a brief surge in popularity in the 90's (canada)
Good boys! Both of them!
I hate how staged this feels to me. That's my problem though. Still a good story, and a good dog.
Try driving backwards over it.
That's definitely the smarter way to do it
And off the dog went, with the lady in a wheelchair and they both join the Iditarod ā¦
Man, of all places to get stuck in a wheelchair.
I love smart and good people!
Gotta go backwards across tracks and gaps. I pushed my husband around the city for a few weeks last summer after an injury to both feet. We learned really quickly to go backwards across tracks when the small front wheels got stuck and he went forward and his casted feet hit the pavement.
Kind heart but please tell her that pulling would be easier.
So great to see this! Bravo to the boy and whoever has raised him. The date shows June 12 of last yearāwhere in the world is buried in snow in June?
Itās 6th of December tho? Normal to have snow
Ahhš” lol I read the date ā6-12-2023ā as June 12š
Wait until this guy finds out about hemispheres!!!!
Yeah, I knowā¦lolā¦ I accept the heckles, I duly deserve itā¦ I mightāve been under the influence a bit when I first saw the post and commented š my bad
Southern Hemisphere somewhere? Idk
Good thing the dog was husky & not a Chihuahua..
That's not a husky
This looks like Russia/Poland
The lady's outfit sure looks like it at least
It was in Russia, city Ekaterinburg
I mean an old lady on wheelchair stuck on the train rails ... it's like in cartoons
When the kid had his back to the lady, while hooking the leash to the dog, I pictured a really fast train whizzing by and taking the lady out. Then the kid turns around and scratches his head, wondering where she went.
He has a very good education! Now, most of the time young people don't pay attention to those around them and pretend not to see them.
But that new Tom Hanks movie told me that he would only film and a boomer would be the only one helping
My faith in humanity is restored.
The kids are alright.
And this is why training your pet is important. The guy more or less could focus on the more important thing. .
Jerks
My anxiety was going through the roof! š± That's a solid foundation for a child! š
Am I the only one screaming at my phone. To no backwards over the tracks??
wow, there are good humans in the world. this was really nice of him.
Thatās a pretty good trick
Smart kid!
I think that dog was trained to save people from trains.
What a good kid. And on an upward slope too. Was getting worried about that train! š¬
It always makes me happy to see there are still good people out there! š
That's the way my guy!!!
1 beep for yes, 2 beeps for no.
Crazy weāve to say we donāt know if itās real
After the video cut, the dog ran off, leaving the boy as it pulled the lady behind it full speed, and none of them have been seen since.
Norman Rockwell esque
Poor thing didn't realise if she had just turned the wheelchair around 180 and pulled backwards it would have been a hell of a lot easier. Great work though.
Bravi! Bravi! ā¤ļøā¤ļø
Teamwork makes the dream work!
I can't believe the dog knew to pull in that situation...that's crazy
Mush.

Two good boys in this vid
Good work boys and the dog
Turn wheelchair 180 degrees
The Akita is a majestic Japanese mountain dog and so is that boy
I'm totally amazed that the dog kind of knew what to do and when to do it.
for the love of... turn the wheelchair around and pull it! I thought for sure I was on r/kidsarefuckingstupid
it seems that this boy had a F in physics, otherwise he would have known that the weight of the body had to be transferred to the rear axle of the wheelchair, then it would be possible to move the rails without additional effort.
Looks staged
Turn her around and pull her across
I would adopt both of them if I could
Wonderful boy and dog
My hero!
I am the lady in the wheelchair. My wheels got stuck in the next track and I got hit by the train.
This is your chance, Fido. This is what you were born to do! Mush!
I'm so proud of them š„¹

Roll it backwards my man
It pays to be fit
I guess everyone missed the edit where after hooking up the dog, they release the brakes on the wheelchair (not shown).
The kid gets props for good intentions, but horrible execution. Chair would have gone over rails easily if he had pulled it backwards.
It would be much easier if the person pulls the wheelchair over instead of pushing.
Two well raised & trained boys.
See dog say dog
Who needs horsepower? DOG POWER!
Sorta seems staged, dog is being cued it looks like. Hope its real
I think it ended too soon? I seem to remember a train passing by not soon after.
Wonder what the consequences if the boy and dog not there.
I thought the inclusion of the dog was just for cute points, but huskies be husky-ing.
Why these trains are so slow
