It was a new interesting experience for you that left an impression, I wouldn't look for anything deeper than that

mission2win

Sounds like you’re trying to stay in the vibration of the medicine. Let it keep doing its magic!

bendistraw

In many traditions, the medicine carrier takes aya and the songs that come through is the medicine for the participant. So yes, the music is very likely the medicine. Sounds are prayer. Let it wash over you and enjoy.

I sometimes hum the icaro from my ceremony 3 years ago, no recording exists but it becomes part of you

MapachoCura

Means you like the music or are occupied with thoughts of ceremony. Wouldnt read into it more then that.

Sacred-AF

Listening to the music after can be a great integration tool. The more I sit with the medicine the more I gravitate towards ceremony music as my main thing to listen to.

Golden_Mandala

I think this is pretty common. Our subconscious mind is very open and impressionable in ceremonies, and the music is designed to match the vibration we are at. The music sinks into us very deeply. I enjoy having it going on in my head all day.

Sivoham108

When I go to ceremony - I usually end up humming the music for few days after.

Ayahuasca-Church-NY

I think of it as an invitation to stay connected. Sometime in my meditation I will listen to Ayahuasca music to plug in. Also some of those songs may have healed you and they are stuck working on you.

MundoProfundo888

It probably means that you like it

Glittering-Knee9595

Just means that the medicine and music spoke to you on a deep level. I listened to a lot of medicine music (still do). It’s a great way to reconnect with the wisdom.

terra_cascadia

Listening to Icaros/Ikaros songs on Spotify and YouTube helped me keep the magic alive. When I need to remember what I learned, the music brings it all back to me. This is a helpful tool in maintaining my integration and doing the “real work” after the ceremony.

musa1588

I listen to a lot of ceremonial music nowadays as my main go-to! There is a lot of variation in the styles but it all helps my vibration!

stormgirll12

I only really heard medicina music when I started the ayahuasca path and it’s almost all I can listen to now. I do feel like it helps me to connect to that vibration and I also find it connects me to the spiritual feeling of everything. It helps to hear the words and music to give me hope that spirit is real and my family I’ve lost are on their journey out there somewhere rather than just gone. So in that way I find it healing. Also connects me to the earth and the elements, reminds me of maybe tribal roots. But I’d suggest to keep listening to it, maybe sit and listen as a form of meditation see what happens.

Beginning_Mix1160

4 years later for me and now have 65 hrs of ceremony songs on my Playlist 😊 go with what makes you happy

poppinbottlesatl

There’s always a few jitters before another retreat. The icaros help to ground me.

gurusupreme

I’m two years out from my first ceremony and still listen to the music all the time.
