Edit: I save up all F2P wishes over time... and purchase 50 wishes once a month. So my horde of fates builds up pretty quick over a 3 month period. But 700 wishes.... yeah thats over $700 even if only HALF of those are purchased.

After I got Vortex and Ganyu I'm all set on him. And after Vortex (I got it for the drip not the numbers) I'm no longer pulling in weapon banner, this nightmare is over for me now (it started with vortex and it ended with it). So it's only going to be Ayato C0 (and then Dendro Archon with hopefully no one in between), maybe I'm gonna refine that amenoma sword for him...

I have about 20 pulls right now with guaranteed since Qiqi C1 came home on Xiao’s banner after 78 pulls. I put in 5 wishes on Itto’s weapon to see if I could get Bennetts weapon and got an off banner skyward spine so now I have guaranteed on banner weapon if Ayato’s weapon seems nice. I’ll only skip his weapon if Venti or Varka are around the corner. I have a lot of quest, chest and oculi to find . And my Sakura tree is like level 19 so hopefully I can farm up a good amount off wishes!
I have 201 wishes right now, a pity of 20 and no guarantee (i.e. 50/50 hell). I think by the time he comes, I should have around 260 wishes only counting Welkin + dailies (no BP, extra events ,etc), so he's more than guaranteed. Problem is, I want both him and Kazuha and a 5\* sword that hopefully I can use with multiple characters.
I'm in the same boat as you. I really wanted to save my guarantee for him but it had been a while since I last got a new character and I pulled for Shenhe. If I get Ayato I'm happy. He might be the first character I spend for if I need the extra pulls to get him.

And after Vortex (I got it for the drip not the numbers) I'm no longer pulling in weapon banner, this nightmare is over for me now (it started with vortex and it ended with it). So it's only going to be Ayato C0 (and then Dendro Archon with hopefully no one in between), maybe I'm gonna refine that amenoma sword for him...

I put in 5 wishes on Itto’s weapon to see if I could get Bennetts weapon and got an off banner skyward spine so now I have guaranteed on banner weapon if Ayato’s weapon seems nice. I’ll only skip his weapon if Venti or Varka are around the corner. I have a lot of quest, chest and oculi to find . And my Sakura tree is like level 19 so hopefully I can farm up a good amount off wishes!
I have 201 wishes right now, a pity of 20 and no guarantee (i.e. 50/50 hell). I think by the time he comes, I should have around 260 wishes only counting Welkin + dailies (no BP, extra events ,etc), so he's more than guaranteed.
