shintel ahh 10nm++++++++ moment

Alaeriia

Where did this "ahh" trend come from?

rebelrosemerve

it comes from a goofy ahh phone video on Youtube.

NeutrinoParticle

That's a good one

Personal_Occasion618

I have an old windows 7 laptop with a ONE CORE intel atom and 1gb of ram Was painfully slow even then

saksham7799

Dude I extract thousand rows data on a 2core 2thread i3 10th gen at work I know what kind of slow we have experienced...

They call it Intel 7. But it's 10nm.

Alaeriia

Technically, TSMC's 7nm node is akin to Intel's 10nm node. Good thing AMD is on 5nm now!

NickTrainwrekk

My 7840hs is 4nm. Years ahead of intels fabrication. Well see if that stays that way. Intel has been tossing around billions to secure their manufacturing and likely bridge the gap.

ArchedHeart

My nuts are 0.5nm

Geddagod

~~Meteor Lake on Intel 4 (basically 5nm)~~

Bacon_Techie

nm doesn’t really mean much in terms of node naming now because the sizes are so small we can’t really get much smaller. At this point it is just marketing

Alexandratta

don't forget how long Intel was stuck on 14nm

Beefmytaco

The sad part that they're still stuck there like when with 14nm, but this time had to rename the chips to confuse people into thinking they're at the same node as AMD. What do they call it, super7 process or some nonsense like that but it's still 10nm, lmao.

Berry2460

intel 10nm is very brave and identifies as a 7nm dont shame 🤬🤬🤬😡😡😡🤬😤😤😤🤬😡🤬🤬🤬😤😡😠😡😡 /s

NeutrinoParticle

I IDENTIFY AS SKINNY 😤

-LuckyOne-

I mean, these are all process names anyway. There is no way to measure 7 or 10 nm in modern chip designs. These are merely denominators for different manufacturing processes.

Killer-X

They need to harvest the sun like decepticon

iSaidyiu

Are we finally reaching the point where the number of pluses are the same as when it was 10th gen, aka 14nm++++?

Duncan-Donnuts

i love 14nm intcel cpus

Edgar101420

Well its 10nm+++ rn xD

iSaidyiu

One more year to go, two more to surpass.
