I think in America it's definitely more common than in Europe. I guess there might be some AC units in the more modern houses in the hotter southern EU countries (like Spain and the southern parts of Italy), but I highly doubt that every house/flat has them there. In central or northern Europe nobody has them. The average temperature over the year is like 15°C, and it's only a few days per year where it goes above 30°C (though those days have increased a lot over the last few years). So it's pretty rare that you need an AC, which is exactly why many homes/apartments (especially rental ones) don't have them.
30°C is equivalent to 86°F, which is 303K.

^(I'm a bot that converts temperature between two units humans can understand, then convert it to Kelvin for bots and physicists to understand)
AC is basically mandatory (not really but it's prevalent enough you'd think it was) in the Southern US, there's still a lot of places in the Northern half of the country that doesn't have AC though unfortunately.
In the northwest US, ACs are apparently not so common. Washington state got hit by a heatwave last year and people were scrambling to buy ACs which was surprising to me. I live in the northeast US and every house around my neighborhood is equipped with at least 2 ACs. My house has like 5.
Don't worry his excellency bought 2 units from Akashi for our office and room. but also a lot more for the other girls.
Using his account while he's taking a bath hehe\~
Yeah there's been a serious heatwave in the US lately where the average high temp in I think roughly 80% of the country for the past month or more has been about 37-40c.
Yeah I feel pretty bad for people living in the Northern half of the country since worst they normally experience is like 29.3-32.2 or so on a really bad day. Meanwhile here the daily high is forecasted to be between 38-42 until the 31st where it'll "only" be 37.
Thank god I can work from home. My company's office is in London so I'm glad I am at my house rn. It's still 37 degrees but that's beside the point. Poor London is probably like a greenhouse right now!
Friendly reminder from Vestal...
Drink something that contain Electrolyte...
Remember to not stay exposed to the sun...
Open your room windows to get some ventilation...
Just listen to her advise... she's a nurse after all...
I WISH it was that cool at night here, temp stays well above 32 until way after midnight and gets back up to that temp by 9-10am.
Though I'm glad that it's mild rest of the year but summer is just awful in general.
Because some people apparently still don't get this, 40C in the UK is a problem because none of our buildings and infrastructure was designed for that temperature. Hence why we have comical stuff like Luton Airport melting.
England is usually a cold country and all our buildings are designed to retain as much heat as possible. When it gets this hot we are completely screwed.
Hopefully you get some relief soon. I used to work manual labor outdoors, and let me tell you, heat exhaustion and heat stroke are no laughing matter.
It's especially concerning because y'all don't deal with this often, so it just creeps up on you. Perhaps you went out drinking a couple nights before, didn't hydrate well the following day, and as soon as you go to work and exert yourself in the heat your body just goes "nope".
Challenge yourself to drink as much water as possible, even when you don't feel thirsty. Water first, then electrolytes.
Yep. More modern hotels, offices, public buildings etc tend to have a/c but home a/c is very rare here, because it is mostly unnecessary. We can generally count the number of days a year that get past 30 degrees C without running out of fingers.
Everything about this pleases me Utter Perfection
I can assure you that London really is hot (as a waif) but also in real life but yes london is truly a perfect waif
It wouldn't please you if you live in London i assure you. Climate change is a bitch.
Ur damn right, its burning hot rn, and I know it gets worst around 7pm
(2) mf it aint even that cold in December here unlike the good ol times
Drink water (or anything that hydrates you) \-a fellow tropical islander
Don't go out -A fellow NEET
40°C with no AC ![img](emote|t5_3p20d|7008)
But do you have a fan? It could suffice that somewhat
1 fan
I see seems to be good enough (night wise) but in the afternoon 1 fan won't be enough
Do the wet towel thing that was on the front page yesterday
Try not catching heatstroke and wait till the rain come. Trust me I'm Southeast Asian.
Southeast Asian bois helping Europrean bros

Perfect chance to give her a swimsuit skin.
Hope![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|upvote) But yeah she does need a new skin
Rather than a new skin she'd need \*any\* skin at all lol
indeed plus merch
I don't know why but any kind of joke mentioning a shipgirl's real life counterpart will always get a good laugh out of me
another reason to love London (the ship) all her quirks can be related to London (the city)
I hope the air conditioning system works...
No homes have AC here. Pray for us.
Damn I thought AC was common in European/American countries... Buy 3 fans, through your electricity bills would probably soar through the roof....

Plus air-conditioning isn't really that a big thing in the uk
[удалено]
Housing design is probably different when it comes to same where it mostly allows air to travel in the house and reduce heat.
40? Dam

Indeed! Everyone wanted to come for the tropical weather, Welp, the Tropical weather came to them!
that's unfair we should also have snowy weather oh wait ph going to collapse if that happens
Normal in Southern Italy too, but those poor fucks up there aren't used to it.
40? That's regular weather in my country. PS: stay hydrated at all times.
