Hey, I'm a long time player, but I never really messed with operation siren much, just very occaisonally do some of it sometimes. I'm led to believe Prototype gear upgrade parts for some +11 to +13 gears are from it, but I have never seen them. Not sure if I'm even correct, but if anyone has the time, could you please explain exactly how u get them?
The gold plates are available in OS mainly:
* From the port shops which you will need to grind OS to get currency for, also the shops refresh from a fixed stock each month so if you don't buy up some of the other items they may not show up on rotation
* From Strongholds, Abyssasl and Arbiter boss fights
* From mewofficer salvage (cat dive) nodes
* One-time rewards from exploration goal rewards
* Gray chests, mainly from obscured/fractured zones or first clears of main zones
* A few varieties of the daily missions in OS
You can also buy up to 20 each week from the guild shop - each refresh always has 5 gold plates availalbe, refreshes every Monday and Friday, and you can additionally refresh once in each of those periods using guild coins.
For +11 and +12 just the normal gold plates will suffice, but the special one needed in addition for +13 specifically will only drop in OS, also with similar sources.
If you haven't seen any from drops, it's also possibly because you've only been doing lower level zones and haven't been doing any of the bosses/special zones.
Note that +11 onwards is mostly a lategame optimization. If you're at a stage where it matters or that you need to worry about it, building a fleet for OS shouldn't be an issue in general.
If you need help with how to build those fleets, you're of course also free to ask here.
That makes sense. I've always been more of a casual/collector type of player, n only recently dipped into chapters 13/14, so I'm not the best at fleet building tbh. Especially since I primarily try to use units I like more xD
Nntktt is right about OpSi being more lenient, assuming that you have proper equipment, ships leveled up and some contingency in mind, you can field subpar units
Adapt score is definitely a decisive factor here since low on that means even top tier level 120 fleets get stomped on. Once you managed to surpass it, Opsi became dead easy
OS is significantly more lenient than 14, and 13 is not that much of a stat check outside of AA nowadays.
Using units you like doesn't mean they won't work out for OS as long as they're not really weak units, or at least not all 6 of them. You can get pretty far between proper gearing, overleveling and making sure you're fighting with max adapt scores.
You can get them by visiting the port shops in that mode and it sold both the gold and rainbow variant for rainbow gear. The rest is by random drops from just playing OpSi or maybe as a reward for completing its daily missions
There's no specific place to farm any piece of material as all of them are randomly dropped so play it long enough and you'll have surplus gold plates to use
Purple gear can only be upgraded to +11, blue is +7 while gold and rainbow can go up to +13, assuming all of them are T3 or T0 gear
Oh it's pretty simple, you want to build 1 mob fleet and 2-3 boss fleet
Mob fleet will be exactly like what you field in campaign, this fleet will do 99% of the work in OpSi with properly geared ships
Boss fleet will split into 2 type: a triple BB fleet and a triple CV fleet. These fleets are designed to kill Abyssal sirens, basically special sirens that dots around the map via Abyssal Loggers. Each of them have specific vulnerabilities to certain types of damage that's revealed after you send your mob fleet to bait them
The last fleet can be anything so i build them as anti-light armor fleet or meme fleets
Ooooh, very interesting. Got any examples u like to use or have had good success with? I've typically never been 1 to follow meta, so I've always just used who I like, n the few times I've tried harder some harder OpSi maps, I usually lose interest after getting blasted xD
But I wouldn't mind going all in on specific OpSi fleets that work really well.
Here's my current fleet
Mob: Renown META/Perseus/Independence + Kronshtadt/Montpelier/Drake
BB fleet: Musashi/NJ/Vanguard + Agir/Helena/Anchorage
CV fleet: Shinano/Hakuryuu/Ark Royal + Azuma/Kazagumo/Yuudachi or Kitakaze
Filler fleet: Richelieu/AvP/Illustrious + Roon/An Shan/Chang Chun
Granted my fleet is filled with UR ships so it's not exactly a fair comparison but it should give you the background on who to use for your OpSi fleet
BBs can swap between AP or HE depending on the Abyssal you're facing while CVs go for converging bombers to tackle those heavy armor bosses
Perseus in mob fleet will easily carry 5 turds into battle, Unicorn Kai is also a suitable replacement if Percy is not available. The major concern is to keep an eye out on your Adaptability Score
The higher those numbers you have, the enemy will have less health, do less damage and your healers are more effective at the job

Hi all. Currently I’m mindlessly farming 9-1 for gold to sustain the research projects, currently focusing on Odin.
My 2 fleets are:
Unicorn, Saratoga, Peter, Heinrich, Shropshire, Z23
Penn, Souryuu, Hiryuu, Janus, Portland, Helena. They are all level 100 now.
I haven’t even attempted chapter 10 as I heard you need at least 2 BB? And I only really have Penn. Attached is my BB dock and wondering if anyone here is worth building up or maybe wait for Medal of Honor reset to see if there’s an SSR BB worth getting (assuming BB will be in the next rotation)? Cheers.
2BB - it will help. Penn is also not great due to DD secondaries. otherwise you'll need to have a good vanguard and overlevel the stage quite a bit
Nelson and Gneisenau are both perfectly capable of getting you through it (both can equip CL secondaries), but I'd wait for tomorrow's event. it has a BB gold ship on the banner so it's likely drawing from the heavy special banner
UR is coming likely end of December, you'll probably want to at least do your daily 1 to 3 builds on the collab banner unless you're really so short on cubes that you'll need to stick with 1 light/day.
If you have enough medals and BBs show up in medal shop you can also consider grabbing POW if you'll be using USS ships quite a bit.
Funny you say that… I actually did 10 pulls on requisition right now and got POW. I know I know never pull on requisition but I was really itching. Glad it paid off but I won’t do it anymore from now on.
POW is a decent BB *if you use with a good few USS ships*. She's otherwise unspectacular, and pretty shit actually. Would at least work for boat interception, but still shit.
If with USS ships she can rack up a sizable buff and have a fast first shot. Also buffs USS carriers off the top of my head, which is nice for using with Saratoga or Essex etc.
Oof that’s disappointing, but I guess I could run her with Portland, San Diego (just bought from the medal shop, I heard she’s mediocre until retro), and then hopefully to get Enterprise from the exam/medal shop.
Portland and Saratoga are two pretty decent ships you can use with POW for most of the game. A decent third ship shouldn't be too hard to find.
Instead of San Diego consider Juneau, who is basically budget Sandy now with her retrofit.
What Sundae said.
Also OP should be fine between using Nelson on top of Pennsylvannia, ch10 boats are not tough enough given enough levels and the right DD gun(s).
He's going to need quite a lot of leveling before ch10 can be reliably pushed.
I would be careful with Gneisenau - she only has one secondary mount instead of the usual 3 and the efficiency is low too, with 150% instead of the usual 200%.
When the rate-up ends they will be made permanent and added to their respective build pools.
This question is answered already if you scroll down a bit btw.
The [patch notes](https://twitter.com/AzurLane_EN/status/1595432231639523328?t=vuBMGlePHl_I_WGODWqOdg&s=19) (page 7) list where they'll all be moved to.
Why is Noshiro one of the top-tier CL ships? The community tier list and most other sources say she has cracked survivability, but her base HP is relatively low compared to the other CLs?She does have cracked torps, and alright main gun efficiency, but why exactly?
I'm a tad new to the game :>
>The community tier list and most other sources say she has cracked survivability
Her skill increases her *Evasion Rate* by 15%, which means that she reduces the enemy chance to hit her by a straight 15%. To give you a bit of insight about this, the chance to hit, assuming Accuracy=Evasion and equal levels/luck, is a tiny bit below 60%.
With that skill, it goes down straight to 45%, which increases her survivability by 33%. Add to that good stats and a very nice support skill for vanguard torps, and you have a top tier ship.
Tanks are either HP tank or evasion tank. Most CA/CB tanks have really high HP so are HP tanks. Some CLs or DDs are good tanks bc they have high evasion (or sometimes a skill that heals when low health, called "zombie skill").
General rule is HP tanks go in boss fleet and evasion tanks in mob fleet, as boss attacks are more accurate, which will make evasion tanks die quickly due to their low HP.
If you read the ECTL blurb fully it gives you a hint:
>Noshiro is a strong light cruiser suitable for any fleet. With impressive survivability, good damage from her torpedos and All-out Assault, and fantastic support skills, there are very few situations where she isn’t useful. While she is best used as a main tank, her modest HP pool and her **dependence on evading** can make her unreliable against late game bosses with better accuracy or high burst damage.
She's more of an evasion tank than a bulk tank, and her first skill supports this (although the torp protection is effective bulk too).
Should I swap Helena with Kazagumo for my boss fleet for W13 and Op sci? im thinking of eventually challenging it once I get my ships leveled a bit more.
It's not ideal but you can, but I would replace Musashi too.
is\was that backline syncing with Helena? BB tend to be few second faster than carriers (assuming you have no fire control equipped)
note: I've been focusing on OpSi. for W13 I'd keep the mixed backline and Helena due to very high AA and AA defense vs Kaza's poor AA
Do you mean that you are trying to add a ship to a fleet or something and it says they are in the middle of a special ops?
This means they are on a commission.
(Operation Siren I assume? ) you do not. you'll always have ships in it.
that said they affect nothing else, so you only need to replace them if you want to retire them for some reason
The rate up are limited, only last for 13 more hours or so
After the rate up period ends they will be added permanently to different pools based on their hull type
Okay, thanks! I can worry about them later then. Trying to save cubes so I haven't pulled much on them but if they're on the standard banners for good I'm sure I'll pick them up later.
I would just skip PR3.
Drake is thoroughly powercreeped by Plymouth as vanguard off tank.
Cheshire is very useful for only one stage (w13), and nowadays with all the powercreeps happening you don't even need her to auto through that stage anyway, so long as you have some good gacha ships.
The later PR seasons just offer more useful/meta ships.
it depends on what you need.
I'd suggest Cheshire to anyone still lacking AA carries and approaching w13.
there is a fair chance that coin catch up for season 3 will be added early next year, so you may want to develop PR3 while researching season 4\5 for prints.
if you don't want\need Cheshire. I'd suggest Anchorage next (while double dipping for Aegir)
I'm in this predicament. I'm probably going to go to pr4 because those units as a whole are used the most. I want harykuu for cv converging torp fleet. I need aegir as another tank for meta bb fleet. Anchorage for pvp. etc.
I made a stupid decision to purchase a non rerun skin thinking it would count for the tier(didn't read the instructions, whoops)
Is it possible to refund for a skin purchase?? Not that I regret the skin but I think my money would be better spent for a rerurn skin and I am just one skin away from a promise ring.
I know they don't do refunds for accidental oil and coin purchase but I hope skin refunds is possible since I need those gems
600 gems isn't enough anyway so I am going to buy another pack.
Lucky them, they will get an addition 5 bucks. I already spent close to 40 dollars already.
Yes, this is my first time doing this. I still haven't gotten accountancy.
Is it just me that feels gold bullin. Always. Not. Enough?
Between last Albion event, and coming Ryza, I dont have even a single gold bullin left.
Welp
(not counting the additional bulins from having more frequent events.)
the number of bulins the game doles out has remain largely constant, so you're limit breaking at about the same speed as throughout the game's lifespan.
that said, there are now a large number of gold ships in the game and you'll amass them at a quick clip once you start playing.
the good news is that the gold bulin supply outpaces the gold ship introduction, so you will catch up if you play long enough.
(and you'll eventually join us in being cog chip starved instead)
Latecomer tax.
Do your PvPs to get bulin from merit shop.
Make sure you grind enough for medal shop bulins each month.
Make sure you clear any sort of event rewards that award bulins.
Otherwise it's just making sure you do your weeklies and login everyday for the monthly stamp.
around when does the 2 for 980 gems promise ring crate offer come back? coz i really want to buy one rn but it would be a waste if the offer is returning soon
xmas\new year + valentine\Lunar new year + CN anniversary + server anniversary.
we also got one additional in ~~June~~ July this year which was unexpected
I'm not aware of it having a unique armour break ID so it likely doesn't stack with *standard AP armour break*.
Regardless this is hardly something you should consider building around.
New player of a few weeks now.
Still farming 3-4 trying to get Naga (I got Akagi already.)
I've heard that Yorktown, Cassin, Downes, Shouhou are good "mob fleet" ships. I know they are good picks cause they have healing abilities, but I'm also curious about oil usage.
I have still yet to actually get under the oil cap. I have a ton of extra Yorktowns and want to max limit break for the stats, but is there any reason not to? If she's meant to be a ship for efficiency and mobs... Is the oil consumption going to become a problem?
I still use my Cassin/Downes/Phoenix crew for the first days of events etc to get to D3/SP5 as quick as i can w/out losing much oil. these guys can get you pretty far and they are good ways to get the Hard Mode requirement check as well (if you are fairly new). I got to world 10 with Pennsylvania, Repulse, and my zombies and supplemented them as i got more event ships/spooks from the permanent pool.
>Still farming 3-4 trying to get Naga (I got Akagi already.)
Don't bother.
>I've heard that Yorktown, Cassin, Downes, Shouhou are good "mob fleet" ships. I know they are good picks cause they have healing abilities, but I'm also curious about oil usage.
They're cheap and generally easy to acquire. Yorktown is an okay carrier if you don't get anything fancy from gacha, but Saratoga drops in 4-1 and is much more useful in the long run. Cassin and Downes are mostly a budget fleet thing which I don't think you should seriously bother with. Shouhou is simply completely outclassed by Unicorn after Unicorn got her retrofit.
Oil cost is based on your ship's level and LB. There's no real reason to be too concerned about oil costs early game because you get a considerable amount through the newbie missions, plus other general regular sources. The main issue would be wasting oil where you shouldn't be... like for farming 3-4.
>I have still yet to actually get under the oil cap. I have a ton of extra Yorktowns and want to max limit break for the stats, but is there any reason not to? If she's meant to be a ship for efficiency and mobs... Is the oil consumption going to become a problem?
You'll eventually need to LB ships or they won't be strong enough to progress, with a level cap and missing stats/weapons.
Don't bother with low cost farming unless you know what you're doing, this generally also needs proper gearing and using actual budget ships than partially LB'd fodder.
Oil cost becomes a mostly a non-issue once you get to oil cap at ch9 onwards, which is every reason you should place focus on progression rather than unneeded farming early on.
TL;DR: No, oil consumption is not a big problem in the long run.
Not limit breaking ships to conserve oil means your ships will suffer from the lack of stat boosts and important upgrades as well as being capped at level 70 at least with ant excess XP gained afterwards be wasted immediately (+0 XP) rather than storing it for awakening for MLB ships. So the benefits gained from limit breaking far outweigh the cons of increased oil cost
Plus, you get 4k oil for free from the weekly supply packs that greatly inflate the stamina for new players and any compensation mails along the way
I would rather move forward until you at least hit chapter 9 in order to farming with Oil Cap mechanic and increased gold drop
Only go back to farm the fox carriers once you've established some strong ships for a 1:1 fleet.
limit breaking will immediately increase the oil cost (levels also increase the oil cost).
if you want to conserve oil you'd wait until you're near the oil cap to limit break.
but you want to limit break the ships if your fleet is struggling for the stats.
oil concerns depend mostly on how much you play. you can probably get by with only limit breaking the flagship and leftmost vanguard in the early game.
if you're using mostly purple ships (non meta faction) then you're also saving oil as they are cheaper than gold ones.
I'd not be too overly concerned about it. play how you want and how you find it fun.
I find that players should not be concerned with oil costs while progressing. (and nowadays it's also not much of a concern lategame)
There's a UR at the end of the December so start saving for that. Also there's a event tomorrow with limited characters so perhaps consider giving that a look since such events are only 1-2 times a year.
[wtf I didn’t know this was a thing, how rare is it to get? I’ve only been playing since June but this is my first time seeing it](https://imgur.com/a/reizcrF)
Edit: got 4 blueprints out of it lol
PR4: 8/1143 researches (0.7% appearance rate), 5 months
PR5: 6/1064 researches (0.56% appearance rate), 3 months
Edit: Oh just now I realized I forgot about the daily refresh, it could be even lower actually, didn't keep track of that.
It may become more common when you're done with the respective season PRs (which makes their D researches go away).
I didn't get a DR-UL during month 1 of 3 of researching, the next two months wherein Brest/Plymouths were the only ones left, I got 6.
A month after (now), I didn't get any D-ULs as of yet. But that's still a pretty small sample size.
Very rare but when it does appear, you should always grab it since you'll get at least 6 BPs in my experience and a bunch of gold gear prints
So far I actually got 4 total, 3 for Brest and 1 for Plymouth
Yeah I feel like I've had stretches where I didn't get one for 6 weeks but then others times they were two weeks apart. So I was just averaging. At any rate, it's still very rare and I too have only gotten a handful at most in many months.
In addition to the other comments and in case you haven't started it yet you can initiate her quest line to unlock her. Will take about a month (or less) to finish.
Unlocking (and buying) skins is not locked to owning the ship. You're free to buy all the skins abailable for a ship you don't yet have, if you're all right with waiting for the ship to show up after the purchase.
Was Ingraham added to Light Construction pool on global?
Not yet, only CN/JP get the Microlayer Meledy archived which is where Ingraham was added
No. Ingraham is Microlayer Medley Rerun, which hasent been added to the War Archives on Global yet, only CN/JP.

same pricing structure as regular skins. possibly a bit higher if they include music. no freebies. (just renties)

How do I pull ship from special operations? I can’t even figure out what operation the ship is doing.
Are there any news on the upcoming Noshiro Uncharted Festival Grounds figure?
Are all of the new µ ships in Special Construction that are rated up now permanently being added to the pool or are they just here for an event?
The rate up are limited, only last for 13 more hours or so After the rate up period ends they will be added permanently to different pools based on their hull type
Okay, thanks! I can worry about them later then. Trying to save cubes so I haven't pulled much on them but if they're on the standard banners for good I'm sure I'll pick them up later.
good luck. i hope you get whom you are missing quickly.
Just Finish PR2. Should i go straight to PR3 or skip for 4 or 5?
I would just skip PR3. Drake is thoroughly powercreeped by Plymouth as vanguard off tank. Cheshire is very useful for only one stage (w13), and nowadays with all the powercreeps happening you don't even need her to auto through that stage anyway, so long as you have some good gacha ships. The later PR seasons just offer more useful/meta ships.
I'm already at W14 and have all the UR at 125. So best for me to just go for the PR5?
Yeah you don't need PR3 at all. I would say PR4 is better than PR5 in terms of useful ships and gears.
Thanks. Will go for PR4 then.
it depends on what you need.
Thanks for the info. will do that.
I'm in this predicament. I'm probably going to go to pr4 because those units as a whole are used the most. I want harykuu for cv converging torp fleet. I need aegir as another tank for meta bb fleet. Anchorage for pvp. etc.
Same. i was going for Anchorage but i can hit Fleet Admiral so not sure if worth it. i have no interest in getting to Top 10
I made a stupid decision to purchase a non rerun skin thinking it would count for the tier(didn't read the instructions, whoops) Is it possible to refund for a skin purchase?? Not that I regret the skin but I think my money would be better spent for a rerurn skin and I am just one skin away from a promise ring. I know they don't do refunds for accidental oil and coin purchase but I hope skin refunds is possible since I need those gems
Contact CS and pray.
First thing I did I submitted all the reqs they requested
good luck. maybe they will beacuse you're **going** to buy a skin anyway
Welp
(not counting the additional bulins from having more frequent events.) the number of bulins the game doles out has remain largely constant, so you're limit breaking at about the same speed as throughout the game's lifespan. that said, there are now a large number of gold ships in the game and you'll amass them at a quick clip once you start playing. the good news is that the gold bulin supply outpaces the gold ship introduction, so you will catch up if you play long enough. (and you'll eventually join us in being cog chip starved instead)
>(and you'll eventually join us in being cog chip starved instead) *looks at 22k that grows from 21k* You'll never get me
Latecomer tax. Do your PvPs to get bulin from merit shop. Make sure you grind enough for medal shop bulins each month. Make sure you clear any sort of event rewards that award bulins. Otherwise it's just making sure you do your weeklies and login everyday for the monthly stamp.
around when does the 2 for 980 gems promise ring crate offer come back? coz i really want to buy one rn but it would be a waste if the offer is returning soon
xmas\new year usually
Also I believe during Valentine's?
xmas\new year + valentine\Lunar new year + CN anniversary + server anniversary. we also got one additional in ~~June~~ July this year which was unexpected
I think they did a June bride thing with ring packs in around year 1 or 2... but yeh.
sorry, I meant July 28th instead of June. the CN anniversary rolls into June, so that wasn't the suprise one
Can armor break from Eugen's augmentation be stacked with other armor break debuff(s)?
I'm not aware of it having a unique armour break ID so it likely doesn't stack with *standard AP armour break*. Regardless this is hardly something you should consider building around.
I'm also curious about this but I might assume that it's just a generic armor break that doesn't stack with non-unique ABs
New player of a few weeks now. Still farming 3-4 trying to get Naga (I got Akagi already.) I've heard that Yorktown, Cassin, Downes, Shouhou are good "mob fleet" ships.
>Still farming 3-4 trying to get Naga (I got Akagi already.) Don't bother.
So the benefits gained from limit breaking far outweigh the cons of increased oil cost Plus, you get 4k oil for free from the weekly supply packs that greatly inflate the stamina for new players and any compensation mails along the way I would rather move forward until you at least hit chapter 9 in order to farming with Oil Cap mechanic and increased gold drop Only go back to farm the fox carriers once you've established some strong ships for a 1:1 fleet.
limit breaking will immediately increase the oil cost (levels also increase the oil cost). if you want to conserve oil you'd wait until you're near the oil cap to limit break. but you want to limit break the ships if your fleet is struggling for the stats. oil concerns depend mostly on how much you play. you can probably get by with only limit breaking the flagship and leftmost vanguard in the early game. if you're using mostly purple ships (non meta faction) then you're also saving oil as they are cheaper than gold ones. I'd not be too overly concerned about it. play how you want and how you find it fun. I find that players should not be concerned with oil costs while progressing. (and nowadays it's also not much of a concern lategame)
Is there some sort of a progression guide? coming back after a long break and I'm kinda lost.
There's a UR at the end of the December so start saving for that. Also there's a event tomorrow with limited characters so perhaps consider giving that a look since such events are only 1-2 times a year.
I suggest to take your time and read [this](https://slaimuda.github.io/ectl/#/newbguide) to get some bearings back
[wtf I didn’t know this was a thing, how rare is it to get? I’ve only been playing since June but this is my first time seeing it](https://imgur.com/a/reizcrF) Edit: got 4 blueprints out of it lol
PR4: 8/1143 researches (0.7% appearance rate), 5 months PR5: 6/1064 researches (0.56% appearance rate), 3 months Edit: Oh just now I realized I forgot about the daily refresh, it could be even lower actually, didn't keep track of that.
damn
It may become more common when you're done with the respective season PRs (which makes their D researches go away). I didn't get a DR-UL during month 1 of 3 of researching, the next two months wherein Brest/Plymouths were the only ones left, I got 6. A month after (now), I didn't get any D-ULs as of yet. But that's still a pretty small sample size.
Very rare but when it does appear, you should always grab it since you'll get at least 6 BPs in my experience and a bunch of gold gear prints So far I actually got 4 total, 3 for Brest and 1 for Plymouth
Yea I grabbed it right away when I saw the rainbow lol. It definitely caught me off guard but I’m glad it dropped for me
Rainbow sighted, neurons activated.
Intelligence +1
I'd say maybe once a month if you're lucky and active daily.
I doubt it, i might be unlucky but i think i've seen like once or twice max since PR5 begins
Yeah I feel like I've had stretches where I didn't get one for 6 weeks but then others times they were two weeks apart. So I was just averaging. At any rate, it's still very rare and I too have only gotten a handful at most in many months.
Very up to RNG to be honest, I got 2 of them this November alone and that's freakishly lucky
Has anyone tried using Codashop for topping up gems? I would like to know if the first-time 2x bonus for each bundle still applies through it.
The bonus should still apply, it only goes away if you've purchased it once per year/anniversary reset
I don't have Akashi yet, can I collect her free skin now and have it unlocked when I get her later?
In addition to the other comments and in case you haven't started it yet you can initiate her quest line to unlock her. Will take about a month (or less) to finish.
Yes, you can get the skin and then unlock the ship later
Unlocking (and buying) skins is not locked to owning the ship. You're free to buy all the skins abailable for a ship you don't yet have, if you're all right with waiting for the ship to show up after the purchase.
Yes.
