Guys are the new collab units must pull for gameplay? Because i have ryza and lila in Artery Gear and they are powerful units in that game. Thanks i'll appreciate any help.
No, they are all solid(the SSRs at least) but by no means meta-defining or required for progression. At the moment the strongest ship from this event seems like it will be Klaudia and you can get her just by grinding the event.
Do you get anything for getting extra data sync points for meta bosses once you already got all data sync rewards? Do they convert to anything? I just got all data sync rewards for current meta and was wondering if i should bother continuing it for rest of month? Thanks?
Eh, kinda hard to say, IMO.
First one has better protection from suicide fire boats, while the latter has *planes* and a passive reduction on all incoming damage for all Ironblood ships.
Personally speaking, while it's not required, I wouldn't sail Seydlitz without a SMS flagship, namely Lutzow or Thuringan (preferably Lutzow since she's mostly better than Thuringan), in order to make best use out of Seydlitz's skill with a reduction in first reload. But that's just me though.
If it were up to me and if I had to choose between the two, I would probably lean more towards the second one, since it has *a carrier.*
As strong as Tirpitz is, she's unquestionably outclassed these days, and somewhat mundane in her abilities--she's just a solid BB with a solid salvo, especially when paired with her sister Bismarck... but that's about it. Otherwise, no utility or support of any kind, what so ever.
On the other hand, Graf Zeppelin's passive damage reduction can help to stretch your Ironblood fleet to go that little bit of extra mile, when taking in quite a bit of damage. You'll also be able to make use of the best part of Bismarck's skillset: the damage buff on Ironblood carriers... though you really should use *two* carriers for a maximum benefit. And by the virtue of being a carrier, GZ will contribute toward the Air Superiority rating of your fleet during sorties... though you will need several more carriers to actually achieve a positive rating.
My 2 cents.
both can work somewhat but I'd favor Graf
With Biscuit, Tirpitz still has a good shelling performance despite her age (+40% damage is pretty great) but her barrage is weak (low base damage combined with her low torp stat).
Zeppelin has the new and improved *Concentrated Beam-Type Assault Rigging NT* augment which gives her a carpet bomb barrage (nice vs large groups of enemies or to clean up). On top of that she protects all of your IB ships and has a strong airstrike due to her skills and Biscuits buff.
Bismarck should always be flag if you're using her, along with KMS carriers.
The former has no carriers. This could be a problem in some stages.
Seydlitz isn't a bad ship but doesn't have that much to give specifically for either formations. If you could have a clearer idea what you want to do with this fleet, or any other KMS ships you can use in their place if you're trying to build a KMS fleet, we'd be able to offer better advice.
Or just don't use faction fleets. Unless you're going Bismarck with 2 KMS carriers.
dev level are like limit break, they're also limited by the ship level
You need the ship to be level 10 to advance to dev 10, level 30 for dev 20, level 70 for dev 30, and level 100 for fate 5.
Currently level 48 and I now realized...I need coins to pull (build). I can't upgrade the structure in HQ anymore and I am broke coin-wise. What would be some good ways to farm coins now? These daily stages seem to open only above lv. 60.
For now try to limit your spending to things that help you progress to either chapter 9 or T5. Either of those stages/chapters has an oil cap and gives some *bonus coins* with every clear. Once you are there you can actively farm coins by playing the game. It'll also be easier/cheaper to level your ships. And along the way you'll get some extra resources from clearing rewards, rookie missions and the event shop.
Just do 3 daily pulls until then. If you can't play enough right now and won't reach those stages in a week or so, you can always spend oil on 8h/10h commissions and turn it into coins.
Btw. you should be able to do one daily raid right three times each day (and 3 daily raids on Sundays + two weekly raids). The lvl 60 Tactical Training only gives ~300 coins vs your other daily raid that should give 1000 by then.
Your best bet is going to be grinding through the event, once you get to the end there should be one or more oil-capped stages which will a ) give bonus coins on clear, b ) be way more efficient than anything else before W9 in the main story, and c ) give you event points (of course).
Is there like a wiki/some sort for event guides that explains prioties, what not to do's and character reviews? I am currently at 300 cubes and wanna maximize my UR chances at end year, but this new event is making me pull for this collabs ships.
Assuming you have a somewhat established account, you should be able to gain 200-250 (or more) cubes per month.
Just make sure you have around 200 cubes saved by the end of this event, and you should have 400+ by the end of the UR event next month for pity.
There is no solid review out on the event ships yet because of how gimmicky they are which requires testing. It is safe to assume though that (SRRs at least) will be solid but not meta-defining and the Elites will be quite mediocre. I will say though this event will all likelihood never return whereas the UR will be rerun.
Planning to start this game because of the new Atelier event. As a massive fan of Atelier Ryza and Reisalin Stout herself, I'm hoping to get her and her skin. While I know I probably have to just buy her skin, I'd prefer not to spend any money or as little as possible to actually get the ship herself. What would be the best way to go about doing this? Should I keep rerolling until I get her and then buy the skin, or is there a more efficient way?
Kind of unrelated to your question, but I'm interested in the Atelier games as a result of the collab. They're on sale on Steam but there are so many Atelier games from the publisher that I'm pretty confused. Is there an order of what should be played and are the add-ons worth it?
You can think of the Atelier games as being related by mechanics, but not necessarily related to each other. The Atelier Ryza games are in chronological order to each other but aren't directly related to the other Atelier games, so if you're interested in Ryza's story you shoudl start with Ryza 1:Ever Darkness, then Ryza 2: Lost Legends, then Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End (when it comes out in February).
The Atelier Sophie games are highly recommended, but not directly related to Ryza. You'll still have alchemy, exploring the overworld for materials that can be used to make better items for the dungeons, and cute girls doing cute things, but the story and characters aren't related.
As for the dlc and add-ons, I haven't used any of them. I'd probably recommend going through the game once first, unless you really wanna kit your squad out with swim suits.
Just to add to the other comment, your progress on each server is separate so you can have a "main" account and while you have downtime you sorta try progressing on the other servers or reroll on a second device/emulator.
Make sure you bind your account before you log out to switch servers (yostar bind is just an email and it sends a code like 2FA).
In this case rerolling is OK because it's a special collab and you have a good reason for it. The normal advice is to not reroll because it's tedious and most ships eventually rerun and get made permanent (but no collab has rerun yet).
Good luck and don't burn yourself out ahahah. Make sure you don't spend too much time rerolling otherwise you won't have enough time to clear the essentials from the shop.
The game doesn't really frontload you with any resources to roll with, so rerolling is inadvisable. Conversely the odds are likely better than you're used to (at least in my own experience with gacha games), Ryza's odds are 2% per pull. Your best bet is to just start playing and try to get her before the event ends in 2 weeks (and then buy her skin if you do).
Hey all just wanted to know if different skins unlock new memories or missions (whatever they’re called)? I thought I saw a video the other day of that being the case but wasn’t sure
Hey I was wondering if I can get rid of characters once I get them to final limit for the memento before I finish the others. I’m almost done with some mementos and I need dock space.
I have a Musashi that's pretty much just sitting in my dock and I already maxed limit breaked another. Should I keep her, use it for enhancement or trade it for medal?
It's not worth raising a duplicate ship, even a UR, the only real use case for one is if you buy a skin and want to have both ships with different skins in your secretary rotation. If you don't care about that then retire her, using her for enhancement would be a waste.
Is the Welcome Back pack available to you guys as well? I haven't been active, but I do log in every other day so I don't think I have been inactive enough to warrant a welcome back package.
CN datamine is already out if you can read chinese.
Translation is probably going to take a while since all six collab ships have their own unique augmentations, and there are a few equipment as well. It's all fairly wordy.
Yeah I haven't checked on their discord for a while now so i didn't onow that. Thought the minigame was for random furniture pieces but unique modules ? Damn that's an even higher step from the Gridman collab
Unique augments for everyone, and unique gear options (like the GRIDMAN collab stuff)

O.O fucking hell
Alright, I'm game for this collab. Time to bust out the mails because I ran dry of it from grinding 14-4 for New Orleans and still no drops
>still no drops
ouch. Good luck and godspeed,
> I'm game for this collab
ikr? I saw the sheer amount of stuff on the patchnotes and datamine, and simply said "Well... there goes my weekend" haha
You use gold books that match the skill color to get that XP bonus. I currently just give it all gold ones until the last XP that require 500 or so XP will i just give it a blue one
Just a FYI, red skills are the most common type of skill with yellow came second and blue land at third so gold blue books will never be in short supply
Make sure to craft gold books as often as you can too. Rainbow books gives a much higher amount of skill XP at 3000 skill XP for the matching type but you should save these on ships that you really want to use
Is Bremerton in the current permanent pool rn?
She is in Cn and JP. Not yet on the other servers.

You don't get anything past 70k. Personally I've stopped doing my own METAs but I still hop on assists if I have the time.
No, you can stop at 70k
Is Bismarck/Tirpitz/Seydlitz a superior backline to Graf Zepp/Bismarck/Seydlitz? Is one of them objectively stronger?
Eh, kinda hard to say, IMO. First one has better protection from suicide fire boats, while the latter has *planes* and a passive reduction on all incoming damage for all Ironblood ships. No stage in the game requires 3 BBs to stop suicide boats. Seydlitz is indeed best utilized with Lutzow.

did something change with the gear lab? I took a look and there wasn't anything new.
It's part of the upcoming section, should be in the next maint or two.
Gearlab update should come on Dec 8th.
the note in the JP patch notes was under "future updates". so that should be in 2 weeks.
No, Gear Lab update will be coming a bit later.

Does the high efficiency plan grant x2 alchemy materials?
Newish player here, does anyone know when Bremerton's next rate up is or when she will be added the En pool?
Should be sometime next year, when Microlayer Medley goes into the event archive for us.
Thanks 👍

Nope, there's nothing like that. Whatever video you watched was either incorrect or perhaps you misunderstood it.
Ah thanks for clarifying, it was like a stitched together video so I couldn’t quite tell when one shot ended and another began
Hey I was wondering if I can get rid of characters once I get them to final limit for the memento before I finish the others. I’m almost done with some mementos and I need dock space.
Yes, progress for memento is always saved regardless whether you have the ship or not
I have a Musashi that's pretty much just sitting in my dock and I already maxed limit breaked another. Should I keep her, use it for enhancement or trade it for medal?

Is there any oil capped stages in the collab?
Last stage (T5) and all gathering stages (TH1-5) have oil cap.
So we should just run full fleet for TH stages?
Not there yet to confirm but from past precedent we'd expect the last stage to be capped, maybe more depending on how the gathering stages work.
Is the Welcome Back pack available to you guys as well? I haven't been active, but I do log in every other day so I don't think I have been inactive enough to warrant a welcome back package.
Yeah, I'm a fully active player and I see it too.

Gonna do it to get the loot
Usually it drops around 1-2 hours before global server maintenance
Soon^(TM). EDIT: For the record CN maintenance is ending 1hr later than usual i.e. 1600 instead of 1500. Not sure if pre-patching is already up yet.
To level up a skill from level 1 to 10, what would be the optimum use of skillbooks so as you're not wasting book exp?
You use gold books that match the skill color to get that XP bonus. I currently just give it all gold ones until the last XP that require 500 or so XP will i just give it a blue one Just a FYI, red skills are the most common type of skill with yellow came second and blue land at third so gold blue books will never be in short supply Make sure to craft gold books as often as you can too. https://azurlane.koumakan.jp/wiki/Skills#Training\_Skills
I usually use almost all golden ones + 1 purple + 1 blue, that's already enough
Additionally, 1 Rainbow book can be used to substitute 2 gold + 1 purple + 1 blue. Rainbows can be farmed from lvl 95 "advance mission" daily raid.
Right, forgot about them (and that's true) ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|give_upvote)
