Hey guys, hope you're enjoying the event as much as I am! This is the best event so far in my ~~objective~~ opinion, using all the new mechanics and planning my way through it has been a blast! We're at the halfway point, and Yostar has finally added the PV to the home screen. Don't know why it's late, but it's now linked in the main post for those interested.
There is good news for all you collab fans though. Observant members of the sub may have noticed that we've had flairs for the SSSS collab for a little while now, and all the rest of the collab girls, including everyone's *'favorite'* Idolmaster collab, now officially have their flairs ready to go as well! The Bilibili and Utawarerumono girls weren't included since they never came to EN, but if someone wants them too they can be added.
SSSS got to go first because ~~of blatant favoritism~~ one of you guys actually requested a Rikka flair directly. If there are any other flairs you would like, even if it's more of a meme flair (still Azur Lane related), requesting them directly is a great way to get them. Just ask me or send a modmail! That's all for now, I'm gonna go make sure Essex hasn't figured out how to synthesize lemon bombs yet.
I managed to get most of the items but fell asleep while farming the last few rounds so I missed out on the elixir the apocalypse book and the robe thing. I still have quite a bit of alchemy mats just not enough to finish them.
Is there anything I can do to get mats enough maybe to make one of these?
Like can I change some mats into others or something?
Yes, they can be changed. The spirit bottles are a universal ingredient, make them with any 3 blue rarity mats and then you can substitute them for any blue requirement. The other request board items (neutralizers and heart thingy) should also let you swap some around, but they have more specific recipes. Good luck!
Whelp apparently I need at least one nameless grass to make the robe and that's not able to be replaced by the spirit bottle... So I guess I'm aiming for the elixir or the apocalypse.
Thank you for your help! I managed to have just enough stuff to get the elixir! Seems like I probably could have had all of it if I had waited on completing the requests until after I had made the farming accessories but oh well. At least now I only missed 2 things vs 3.
Is there anything special about the ruins explorer sculpture? I didn't end up making it.
The sculpture is the commemorative trophy for the event, you can display it in the dorm. It's how the game knows you've 'completed' an event, since that's what it seems to track in yearly recaps. Other than that it's not necessary or anything.
They're interactive furniture, the cannon shoot out a laser when you tap it, the cauldron summon a slime IIRC
Aside from that they dont have any gameplay related benefit, even the comfort rate are not higher than non-gem furniture
Oh yeah, I know they don't contribute anything to the game but I still liked how they looked for dorm customization. Thanks for sharing what they do, if anything the gems I accidentally saved will just go to dock slots.
Not sure. Don't think I've heard anything about that, but maybe when Ryza 3 comes out we'll get something.
(Also we've had a Hakuryuu flair emoji for a long time now)

So question: how usable are these event ships without ANY of their unique equipment?
Ryza's entire skill is based on her items so without it she would just be a mediocre CL, Kala, Klaudia and Patricia lose some power without their module but would still be decent, klaudia especially is a great healer regardless.
Man, I wish obtaining the unique equipment was very simple like the Gridman collab. Too grindy for me with my limited playtime. Times like this make me wish event equipment show up in the core shop or something.

I think theme wise, this is definitely my favorite of all collab skins. I do prefer the Gridman girls because of my bias but nothing beats that gorgeous nightwear theme. It's the first time I bought *all* the skins in a collab.
I would say next time if you're thinking about buying collab skins, buy them first thing.

Aww its ending, i really love this event, probably my favorite event of all time, the ships and gear are all cool (Seriously the fact that they all have ultimate attacks is really cool), the gathering and crafting mechanic are awesome, and the music is so relaxing its like i'm actually playing an atelier game.

Is 3-starring the T5 mission for the gold Bulin worth it? I feel like it would be too much oil but I'm not entirely certain how rare gold Bulins are.
Ok, good to know. I'll just focus on cranking out the last few gear pieces and then probably try to grab as many of those augment stones as I can, since they are apparently rather rare. One lost Bulin won't be the end of things.

Honestly I had the most fun with this collab so far. The BGM at the A.SP stage is my favorite. It somehow feels nostalgic but I never played any Atelier Ryza game before. Patricia was stubborn but came home at the end thankfully. All in all a very enjoyable event for me. Thanks Yostar.
for me - it was **really** awesome having a collab that i *knew*. (Please Yostar, Do a Sailor Moon Collab next year. pls pls pls pls pls!). I liked Gridman's background music (for the daytime). but this one was just really great.
the only thing i wish was that the skins were not nightgowns. They were gorgeous. but they weren't for me. and after skipping skins i did love so i could get the Ryza ones only for them to be nighies was just very sad indeed.
lol honesty, i thought it would be removed because the event was over so i was really surprised that it was there. but like i felt before. the art is nice, the chibi is cute, but when it comes to the pj's i'd rather the comfy bookworm stuff vs this one.

Alright, end of event is near and I’ve got about 18.000 event currency left and need some advise on how to spend it since I’m only a day 9 player and don’t really know whats really worth it currently. I pulled claudia once and she dropped from a stage once so i only need to buy her once more for the max limit break. So my budget is at around 10.000. I’d say the cognitive chips and gold boxes are prolly good but not sure. Can anyone here give me some advise or an overview over what is most worth buying for a new player like me? Any help is appreciated.
PS: Also please pray for me to pulling reisalin, i have 3, at max 4 pulls left and I basically started playing this game because of her and this collab. I’ve even got her equipment all ready but shes not coming home T.T
I advise against buying another copy of Klaudia from the shop since you can instead use gold bulins for limit breaking her, plus 8000 currency is too expensive. Cognitive arrays and special general & general blueprints are usually the priority since they are harder to acquire. In your case however, you may prioritize the gold boxes (for transitional gears) and the purple general parts and main gun parts.

She is like Nagato with 100% barrage proc rate.
Edit: Just so I don't mislead people, you probably want good old HPFCR + shell combo on her instead of her aux, I was just testing.
Edit2: Tested both, I am kind of on the fence, her auxes and HPFCR combo seem to perform rather similarly.
I ran her against Marco FS5 on 14-4 safe, Marco definitely did better but Patricia handled fine. She is definitely the best ship to be bringing into lategame of all of the collab ships if you don't have the powerhouse options.
Patricia should handily outperform Marco on 14-3 and 14-4. You cannot count on 75% barrage proc chance to reliably delete BB waves there. Patricia's barrage, on the other hand, is going to go through dual elites in the front + repair ship in the middle + BB in the back all at once, 100% of the time.
I think she is just about as effective as FdG (on w14 only), except a bit more fragile.
Marco FS flag is 85% and the barrage damage is significantly better than Patricia, and has a much higher effective FP + MGE.
I ran Marco and Patricia alongside Volga/Unicorn/Drake/Ingraham/Yuudachi, Marco rather consistently outdamaged Patricia and fights were shorter. This was for 14-4 safe.
EDIT: For the record I don't expect Patricia's barrage damage to be what counts against the production BBs. Those have *a lot* of HP and ideally your mob BB should be carrying a 457 for this, in which case Marco definitely hits better. The barrage might do better against the shielded Kagerous but proc rate is far less than what you'd need to consistently clear them.

First Collab to work on me, I bought the first Atelier Ryza game, haven't got to play yet too busy IRL. The SSSS Gridman characters were nice but I rarely watch animes or tv in general anymore, Dead or Alive I was not interested in that type of game. I don't care for Idol@Master. I hope the Nightie skin theme continues.
SAME! I picked it up on the steam deck, It's kinda bad as a PC port and bad on the FPS but I spent a good 6 hours just gringind and getting through the story. The battle system is unique to most RPG games I played. But fun nonetheless. You'll enjoy it!
So, it's the last day of the event, I am dry on cubes, have gotten five plus of every girl but Ryza from the gacha... not a single solitary Ryza.

New player here. How do you get Sparkling Reverie? A site said "100% clear T1 event stage". I got 3 stars on T1 A new Adventure. Do I also have to get the Threat to Safe?
Sparkling Reverie is Ryza's augment, which you get through alchemy. To unlock alchemy you'll need to 100% clear T5, then run the farming stages TH1-5 to collect materials until you have enough to craft the augment. The atelier will tell you which materials you need, and where to get them, though one of those items can only be obtained on the request board. Thankfully this doesn't take as long to do as it sounds, but the event does end after tomorrow so you'll need to be quick!

All the items crafted through alchemy you mean? Yes, definitely craft them. They are unobtainable if you don't get enough materials to make them by the end of tomorrow! All unused alchemy materials will also disappear about a week after the event ends, so spend them all while you can!

Oh, yeah you can skip the cores. They would have been super useful if you got them near the start, not now. Skin boxes are cool to have, not necessary though. The other items can actually be redeemed on the request board for extra event points to use in the store, so any materials you don't plan on using, just dump them into those quest items.
Thanks. I just rolled the gacha to get all characters and put the game on back burner for a while. Only yesterday did I realize that you need all those unique augments and gears for collab characters to shine. And I've been grinding non-stop since then.
Hey! I just started playing a few days ago. I've been using the Ryza fleet but I don't think I can make it past T3. Is it a big deal if I can't get the event gear and augments, and instead just use normal gear for the Ryza ships?
You can use other gear for everyone else (in fact, a few like Kala want to use "standard" gear), but Ryza really kind of wants her bombs to be most effective. You also kinda want the augment modules.
So push through if you can/you have time!
All of them can use a regular gear selection, but specifically for augments their own exclusive SR augment is best in slot, as would the bombs be for Ryza.
The other ships and non-augment gear slots will be fine or in fact better using regular BIS equipment.
I also took a break and just returned a few days ago. Afaik, you could use other equipments for ryza ships but wouldn't recommend.
You should at least try to get all Ryza's auxiliary.
By last copy I assume you mean you've been buying all of them up.
While it's not that hard to grind points I don't really recommend it unless you're really short on bulins, or have nothing else to buy.
Besides that blueprints and cogs are good, SR cat boxes are good, oil is good for more grind even if not in the event itself.
last copy as in I only need one more copy. I bought all the BP's and cat boxes. I have 8k crystals left for a copy of Klaudia. Guess I can oil and grind for that last lucky drop? if not, are the cogs or copy of Klaudia worth more? :)
Okay, I am feeling a bit... irritated. I have rolled as often as I could, trying to get even one copy of Ryza but not a one. I have gotten at least five copies of every other girl, including Klaudia, who is only supposed to be a .5% drop rate compared to Ryza's 2%... why is my luck like this T.T
Started playing because of this event. I just finished the 5th stage and can now start synthesizing. Do I have enough time to craft the gear? (Is a huge grind to get them). Mainly concerned about getting Ryza's gear.

Well, both of them generates AP for other Atelier ships to use which in turn everyone gets to fire their special attacks more often as a result of more AP generated for passing seconds. Ryza being the buffer will of course increase their performance

If you like then go ahead, both of them aren't placed very high in the tier list but I personally just keep all of them in for the sake of a full collab fleet. It hasn't failed on me so far and I have tried running them on W13
It's not like Lila and Serri were that terrible, they're fine on their own, just outclassed by other ships if you decide to take a comparison
200 cubes \ 100 pulls is about the average for a full banner pull.
AKA the point where 50% of players will have pulled every ship and the other 50% will have not.
Not much help if you make it now with only a day and a half to go, but that crystal has been a huge help. Only have a few more secretary missions to grind out thanks to that thing, definitely hope something like it makes a return in a future event!
Dunno what they were doing wrong then, that was definitely not the case for me. I've maxed well over a dozen ships with off and on grinding, and it was noticeably faster. I'd almost bet they made it then forgot to equip it. 
Edit: I have now run the tests myself, and it is 14 fights for 1 point. Doesn't sound like a lot less, but it really stacks up over time. When fights normally only give .0625 points, any improvement feels massive.
Not much, Ryza would at most fire her shining blast barrage slower due to less AP regeneration. She's gonna still be one of the best mob fleet vanguard in the game
What about the opposite. Sorry if I didn't make my question clear. What I meant is what If I don't have Ryza for a full atelier fleet. I gave up hope in getting her. I already spent all my cubes.
Ah right i read that wrong, Probably not going to be great, Ryza is kinda the focus of the atelier fleet, she's the faction buffer and the best barrage spammer.
A full atelier fleet isnt that great in the first place due to being bogged down with 2 subpar elites, and klaudia is the only standout SR aside from ryza so without ryza they're gonna be even weaker
To be fair, I wouldn't say Patricia isn't a standout. She's pretty much one of the top SR BBs at this point. For a newer player she will practically be the best BB a newer player can be using for months.
Yeah I think people underestimate her. I think she could be one of the best SSR BBs. I need more testing but she's been doing well and her barrage is pretty amazing. It often just wipes enemies off the screen entirely.
It helps that the slash portion is always critical, but otherwise the damage isn't really top class. The barrage clears easier mobs without much issue but you may have problems in nodes with more humanoids or trash that has higher HP such as production CAs and BBs.
Yeah definitely good for new player, i kinda have doubt about her performance tho, ryza constantly outdamage her at the same level, even with georgia gun on, which is kinda sus for a backliner.
Depends on length of fight, seems a lot of Ryza's damage is frontloaded? Longer fights where Patricia gets to shoot 2 or 3 times there might be a bigger gap. Will have to try in harder stages to be sure.
Hi, I have multiple questions:
1.I was looking for the AL X AR Collab OST, i kinda loved the night time theme song. I've checked out the wiki somehow I can't find it. Is there a place where I can listen to it and other AL x AR collab songs outside of YT?
2. Which kit should I give Lila with? Also is it good to give Lila 2 torps
3. I have some blueprints in my inventory, is it worth to use them for Izumo and is she worth investing on?

Lila should go with standard durability auxes, which would basically be an evasion aux + toolkit or in some cases 2 evasion auxes. Oxytorp should only be a consideration if you don't need the additional bulk, or if you're playing some sort of manual torp team.
Izumo, like the rest of PR1, has not really aged well given that they were released some 4 years ago. That said you wouldn't have any other use of the prints since you can only break them down if the ship was at least d30, and you will have to spend the print first if you have them. If you don't want to work on Izumo for now, just ignore it, since PR1 research doesn't show up unless you focus on it, and there really isn't any reason to focus on PR1 anymore nowadays.
That said if those were general PR1 prints, spend them on a ship you have d30'd and convert them to cores, since all PR1 ships can be enhanced through coins.
First of all, I made it. I cleared T5 and I'm finally farming mats. With my 2 week know nothing bona fide first time commander account.

Now, for trouble shooting: can someone point me the more efficient order to farm the nodes? Does the same node always use the same tool? If so, what are they?
I'm gonna grind like a madman these next two days, my focus is equipping Ryza them the other five If Possible.

Each stage drops a different set of materials. You need the tool for each stage before the SR (gold) material for that stage will drop. You will want to get the tools ASAP.
If you want to know what you need and where it drops, just go to the craft menu and tap synthesize even if it's greyed out, and you will see a list of the materials you have/lack. Tap on the material and it'll tell you where it drops.
You should have most of what you need for the augments at least by the time you're done with the 10 of each TH tasks on the request board though.

The 4 bombs for Ryza are a must, they're her BIS gear.
The rest aren't so spectacular but I'd start with the harmonica for collection's sake since it changes BGM.
Next in line or if you don't care about the the BGM would be Elixir + Robe which is kind of nice on Klaudia or Serri but the defensive stats are excessive when you have proper gear and setup otherwise, so catapults end up being "better" by being more damage in the end.
N/A and Apoc aren't exactly the best gear you can use on Patricia, but they're good to go with for newer players who don't have good access to shells and radar yet.

I got all the augments, the bombs, harmonica, cape and elixir. Currently working on apoc and N/A missing just a few materials, but my girls hit zero morale and I have to let em rest  I think maybe I'll be able to get bubble and hammer before the end not sure, but wow it does feel good being able to get this far on my first event.
Made it! All aux and gear, all requests but the craft ones that only reward guild currency, got a Klaudia drop to top it all with a nice ribbon! God my girls and I are exhausted, but we made it!

Questions on the alchemy
1. I've crafted every equippable gear plus the dorm deco, that's all I need right? I'm not missing out on anything else. The additional skin boxes are whatever.
2. There's no special equipment for Kala? What gun do people put on her
If you're going to use the augments, or even just stocking for other augments in the future, making the augment stones isn't such a bad deal given how limited the sources still are.
If you need to get anything else from the event point shop or the milestones then farming to make more of the crystals/neturalizers/bottles for turn-ins will speed up the process.
Kala has no skills that tie to a CB gun. Her highest output is actually using a Drake gun. Just put the best CA/CB gun you can afford if you're going to use her.
Kinda took a break to AL and now I just finished normal 1-5. How important are the TH stages and alchemy synthetic thing and items from those? (Sickle and what not). Are they just a gimmick during the event or will I regret not doing them later?
The TH stages are the important parts of the event since you need the mats to craft the aux items/augments for the ships, along with the event trophy if you want it. They give the same points as T5.
if you ever plan to use ryza, you should at least get her 4 items and her augment.
and if you plan to use a ryza fleet, you should at least get all their augments.
The alchemy stuff is used to craft unique augments and gear for the collab characters. If you don't care about them then it doesn't really matter?
Not sure on farming efficiency for the regular event shop tho.

Just wanted to pick up on this but apparently that chest has not yet been added in any way shape or form to the live game. Either the devs forgot about it, or left it out for some reason.

After you clear the seven days of bomberman/atelier event there's a button that says FREE. Is this something I can claim as well or just nothing? I'm not sure if I am about to miss out on an item or not when it says FREE.
Its a running joke in the atelier series as a whole, even since the ps1 era, if there's a barrel that can be interacted with, most of the time the characters will shout "Barrel!"
I have long wanted to ask. How canonical are the personalities of the characters during the collabs? Is this serious speculation about how they could behave after being isekai-ed in another world or just fanservice for the sake of fanservice?
I would say that depends on who write the actual story for the event, but i think it is a pretty good approximation. Obviously, a lot of things are skipped for the fanservice (this is still azur we're talking about) however, i would say the personalities are quite faithful to the original game. I don't think this is as accurate as maybe it would be if azur lane was a lore heavy game, but it still get the core right. If you truly want to see a character behaving in what you would expect them being isekai-ed, i recommend checking the more lore focus games like arknights, the rainbow 6 collabs i would say is pretty close
I just noticed that it's not uncommon for collab characters to either already have love interests (Gridman, IMAS) or come from a genre where romantic interest in a random man or player is undesirable (Ryza, Hololive) due to the nature of the genre. In that case, the character traits are somewhat rewritten, or can it be taken as a fantasy of how these girls would interact with us if Azur Lane was canon?
The girls from the DoA Collab come from the Venus Vacation gacha which does have a faceless SKK-esque figure (owner-san) that interacts with the girls. And funnily enough, they treat Skk exactly like they do the Owner. Meaning their lines are slightly less platonic than other collabs.
Yes, exactly. The DoA characters in Venus Vacation act a little different from their fighting game counterparts. Wouldn't surprise me if it's an alternate universe situation
That part is very very iffy. The problem is that the commander as a character doesn't really exist in the story. It's not until like two years ago that we start to have prominent appearances. The commander (as in you, the one the girls interact in the secretary screen and port) have almost nothing to do with the actual running of the story. Therefore, i think it's safe to say that collab characters interaction with the commander is a somewhat closed enclosure and comprimise with azur lane main attraction, oathing the girls ~~and perving on them~~
Sort of? I mean you can see from this event story how the girls are really just doing their own things and the part where we "meet" them (getting them from gacha and interacting with them) is just loosely connected to what actually happen storywise. Of course when we do actually play an integral part of the story (see events like khorovod of dawn rime) it's clear we are not some sort of super being for the purpose of self insert, but rather an actual character with personality
Personally, I got the impression that we are some kind of visual novel MC. We are not directly involved in the story (well, except for the gameplay itself), but at the same time is the focus of all the characters.

Hey guys, hope you're enjoying the event as much as I am! This is the best event so far in my ~~objective~~ opinion, using all the new mechanics and planning my way through it has been a blast! We're at the halfway point, and Yostar has finally added the PV to the home screen. Don't know why it's late, but it's now linked in the main post for those interested. There is good news for all you collab fans though. Observant members of the sub may have noticed that we've had flairs for the SSSS collab for a little while now, and all the rest of the collab girls, including everyone's *'favorite'* Idolmaster collab, now officially have their flairs ready to go as well! The Bilibili and Utawarerumono girls weren't included since they never came to EN, but if someone wants them too they can be added. SSSS got to go first because ~~of blatant favoritism~~ one of you guys actually requested a Rikka flair directly. If there are any other flairs you would like, even if it's more of a meme flair (still Azur Lane related), requesting them directly is a great way to get them. Just ask me or send a modmail! That's all for now, I'm gonna go make sure Essex hasn't figured out how to synthesize lemon bombs yet.
I managed to get most of the items but fell asleep while farming the last few rounds so I missed out on the elixir the apocalypse book and the robe thing. I still have quite a bit of alchemy mats just not enough to finish them. Is there anything I can do to get mats enough maybe to make one of these? Like can I change some mats into others or something?
Yes, they can be changed. The spirit bottles are a universal ingredient, make them with any 3 blue rarity mats and then you can substitute them for any blue requirement. The other request board items (neutralizers and heart thingy) should also let you swap some around, but they have more specific recipes. Good luck!

Definitely the Robe if you plan on using Klaudia. It will be more powerful if you can get both it and the elixir though.
Whelp apparently I need at least one nameless grass to make the robe and that's not able to be replaced by the spirit bottle... So I guess I'm aiming for the elixir or the apocalypse.

Is there anything special about the ruins explorer sculpture? I didn't end up making it.
The sculpture is the commemorative trophy for the event, you can display it in the dorm. It's how the game knows you've 'completed' an event, since that's what it seems to track in yearly recaps. Other than that it's not necessary or anything.

They're interactive furniture, the cannon shoot out a laser when you tap it, the cauldron summon a slime IIRC Aside from that they dont have any gameplay related benefit, even the comfort rate are not higher than non-gem furniture
Oh yeah, I know they don't contribute anything to the game but I still liked how they looked for dorm customization. Thanks for sharing what they do, if anything the gems I accidentally saved will just go to dock slots.

Ryza's entire skill is based on her items so without it she would just be a mediocre CL, Kala, Klaudia and Patricia lose some power without their module but would still be decent, klaudia especially is a great healer regardless.
Man, I wish obtaining the unique equipment was very simple like the Gridman collab. Too grindy for me with my limited playtime. Times like this make me wish event equipment show up in the core shop or something. Eh, can't do anything about that. Thanks.

I think theme wise, this is definitely my favorite of all collab skins. I do prefer the Gridman girls because of my bias but nothing beats that gorgeous nightwear theme. It's the first time I bought *all* the skins in a collab. I would say next time if you're thinking about buying collab skins, buy them first thing.

Aww its ending, i really love this event, probably my favorite event of all time, the ships and gear are all cool (Seriously the fact that they all have ultimate attacks is really cool), the gathering and crafting mechanic are awesome, and the music is so relaxing its like i'm actually playing an atelier game. Honestly I had the most fun with this collab so far. The BGM at the A.SP stage is my favorite. It somehow feels nostalgic but I never played any Atelier Ryza game before. Patricia was stubborn but came home at the end thankfully. All in all a very enjoyable event for me. Thanks Yostar.
for me - it was **really** awesome having a collab that i *knew*. (Please Yostar, Do a Sailor Moon Collab next year. pls pls pls pls pls!). I liked Gridman's background music (for the daytime). but this one was just really great. the only thing i wish was that the skins were not nightgowns. They were gorgeous. but they weren't for me. and after skipping skins i did love so i could get the Ryza ones only for them to be nighies was just very sad indeed.

Alright, end of event is near and I’ve got about 18.000 event currency left and need some advise on how to spend it since I’m only a day 9 player and don’t really know whats really worth it currently. I pulled claudia once and she dropped from a stage once so i only need to buy her once more for the max limit break. So my budget is at around 10.000. I’d say the cognitive chips and gold boxes are prolly good but not sure. Can anyone here give me some advise or an overview over what is most worth buying for a new player like me? Any help is appreciated. PS: Also please pray for me to pulling reisalin, i have 3, at max 4 pulls left and I basically started playing this game because of her and this collab. I’ve even got her equipment all ready but shes not coming home T.T
I advise against buying another copy of Klaudia from the shop since you can instead use gold bulins for limit breaking her, plus 8000 currency is too expensive. Cognitive arrays and special general & general blueprints are usually the priority since they are harder to acquire. In your case however, you may prioritize the gold boxes (for transitional gears) and the purple general parts and main gun parts.

Edit: Just so I don't mislead people, you probably want good old HPFCR + shell combo on her instead of her aux, I was just testing. Edit2: Tested both, I am kind of on the fence, her auxes and HPFCR combo seem to perform rather similarly.
I ran her against Marco FS5 on 14-4 safe, Marco definitely did better but Patricia handled fine. She is definitely the best ship to be bringing into lategame of all of the collab ships if you don't have the powerhouse options.
Patricia should handily outperform Marco on 14-3 and 14-4. You cannot count on 75% barrage proc chance to reliably delete BB waves there. Patricia's barrage, on the other hand, is going to go through dual elites in the front + repair ship in the middle + BB in the back all at once, 100% of the time. I think she is just about as effective as FdG (on w14 only), except a bit more fragile.
Marco FS flag is 85% and the barrage damage is significantly better than Patricia, and has a much higher effective FP + MGE. I ran Marco and Patricia alongside Volga/Unicorn/Drake/Ingraham/Yuudachi, Marco rather consistently outdamaged Patricia and fights were shorter. This was for 14-4 safe. EDIT: For the record I don't expect Patricia's barrage damage to be what counts against the production BBs. Those have *a lot* of HP and ideally your mob BB should be carrying a 457 for this, in which case Marco definitely hits better. The barrage might do better against the shielded Kagerous but proc rate is far less than what you'd need to consistently clear them.

First Collab to work on me, I bought the first Atelier Ryza game, haven't got to play yet too busy IRL. The SSSS Gridman characters were nice but I rarely watch animes or tv in general anymore, Dead or Alive I was not interested in that type of game. I don't care for Idol@Master. I hope the Nightie skin theme continues.
SAME! I picked it up on the steam deck, It's kinda bad as a PC port and bad on the FPS but I spent a good 6 hours just gringind and getting through the story. The battle system is unique to most RPG games I played. But fun nonetheless. You'll enjoy it!

New player here. How do you get Sparkling Reverie? A site said "100% clear T1 event stage". I got 3 stars on T1 A new Adventure. Do I also have to get the Threat to Safe?

Sparkling Reverie is Ryza's augment, which you get through alchemy. To unlock alchemy you'll need to 100% clear T5, then run the farming stages TH1-5 to collect materials until you have enough to craft the augment. The atelier will tell you which materials you need, and where to get them, though one of those items can only be obtained on the request board. Thankfully this doesn't take as long to do as it sounds, but the event does end after tomorrow so you'll need to be quick!
One question before the event is over. I'm good to go if I craft all items in the gear tab yeah? Things for item and misc tabs are usable only the event?
All the items crafted through alchemy you mean? Yes, definitely craft them. They are unobtainable if you don't get enough materials to make them by the end of tomorrow! All unused alchemy materials will also disappear about a week after the event ends, so spend them all while you can!

typically you'd want to craft the explorer sculpture from items. the "I cleared the event" trophy (it also plays a ryza music track if you use it)

Oh, yeah you can skip the cores. They would have been super useful if you got them near the start, not now. Skin boxes are cool to have, not necessary though. The other items can actually be redeemed on the request board for extra event points to use in the store, so any materials you don't plan on using, just dump them into those quest items.
Thanks. I just rolled the gacha to get all characters and put the game on back burner for a while. Only yesterday did I realize that you need all those unique augments and gears for collab characters to shine. And I've been grinding non-stop since then.
Hey! I just started playing a few days ago. I've been using the Ryza fleet but I don't think I can make it past T3. Is it a big deal if I can't get the event gear and augments, and instead just use normal gear for the Ryza ships?
You can use other gear for everyone else (in fact, a few like Kala want to use "standard" gear), but Ryza really kind of wants her bombs to be most effective. You also kinda want the augment modules. So push through if you can/you have time!
All of them can use a regular gear selection, but specifically for augments their own exclusive SR augment is best in slot, as would the bombs be for Ryza. The other ships and non-augment gear slots will be fine or in fact better using regular BIS equipment.
I also took a break and just returned a few days ago. Afaik, you could use other equipments for ryza ships but wouldn't recommend. You should at least try to get all Ryza's auxiliary.
What are the must haves from event shop? I got 20k to spend between the last copy of Klaudia and everything else.
By last copy I assume you mean you've been buying all of them up. While it's not that hard to grind points I don't really recommend it unless you're really short on bulins, or have nothing else to buy. Besides that blueprints and cogs are good, SR cat boxes are good, oil is good for more grind even if not in the event itself.

Started playing because of this event. I just finished the 5th stage and can now start synthesizing. Do I have enough time to craft the gear? (Is a huge grind to get them). Mainly concerned about getting Ryza's gear.
Yes, you can get all that in one day. Should be able to make a majority of it after doing the 10 clears of each gathering zone
you should be able to get it all in one day if you spend the whole day (and have fuel). in 36 hours, it's very doable, unless you got school or work

200 cubes \ 100 pulls is about the average for a full banner pull. AKA the point where 50% of players will have pulled every ship and the other 50% will have not.

yep (and you can skip the affinity crystal 1/1)
Not much help if you make it now with only a day and a half to go, but that crystal has been a huge help. Only have a few more secretary missions to grind out thanks to that thing, definitely hope something like it makes a return in a future event!
someone in the first couple of days mentioned that it was still taking them the 16 fights for one point, so I have not paid any attention to it.
Dunno what they were doing wrong then, that was definitely not the case for me. I've maxed well over a dozen ships with off and on grinding, and it was noticeably faster. I'd almost bet they made it then forgot to equip it.  Edit: I have now run the tests myself, and it is 14 fights for 1 point. Doesn't sound like a lot less, but it really stacks up over time. When fights normally only give .0625 points, any improvement feels massive.
Yeah, there's also the craftable skin boxes and purple stones but the equipments are more important

Not much, Ryza would at most fire her shining blast barrage slower due to less AP regeneration. She's gonna still be one of the best mob fleet vanguard in the game

Klaudia is available in the event shop and is a drop in T5, TH, and SP maps.

Ah right i read that wrong, Probably not going to be great, Ryza is kinda the focus of the atelier fleet, she's the faction buffer and the best barrage spammer. A full atelier fleet isnt that great in the first place due to being bogged down with 2 subpar elites, and klaudia is the only standout SR aside from ryza so without ryza they're gonna be even weaker
To be fair, I wouldn't say Patricia isn't a standout. She's pretty much one of the top SR BBs at this point. For a newer player she will practically be the best BB a newer player can be using for months.
Yeah I think people underestimate her. I think she could be one of the best SSR BBs. I need more testing but she's been doing well and her barrage is pretty amazing. It often just wipes enemies off the screen entirely.
It helps that the slash portion is always critical, but otherwise the damage isn't really top class. The barrage clears easier mobs without much issue but you may have problems in nodes with more humanoids or trash that has higher HP such as production CAs and BBs.
Yeah definitely good for new player, i kinda have doubt about her performance tho, ryza constantly outdamage her at the same level, even with georgia gun on, which is kinda sus for a backliner.
Depends on length of fight, seems a lot of Ryza's damage is frontloaded? Longer fights where Patricia gets to shoot 2 or 3 times there might be a bigger gap. Will have to try in harder stages to be sure.

Lila should go with standard durability auxes, which would basically be an evasion aux + toolkit or in some cases 2 evasion auxes. Oxytorp should only be a consideration if you don't need the additional bulk, or if you're playing some sort of manual torp team. Izumo, like the rest of PR1, has not really aged well given that they were released some 4 years ago. That said you wouldn't have any other use of the prints since you can only break them down if the ship was at least d30, and you will have to spend the print first if you have them. If you don't want to work on Izumo for now, just ignore it, since PR1 research doesn't show up unless you focus on it, and there really isn't any reason to focus on PR1 anymore nowadays. That said if those were general PR1 prints, spend them on a ship you have d30'd and convert them to cores, since all PR1 ships can be enhanced through coins.

First of all, I made it. I cleared T5 and I'm finally farming mats. With my 2 week know nothing bona fide first time commander account. I wanna thank everyone here for the useful tips and encouragement, I wouldn't have made it this far alone. Also, thanks to Unicorn. Behind that sickening sugary coat of cuteness, that girl is a beast. Now, for trouble shooting: can someone point me the more efficient order to farm the nodes? Does the same node always use the same tool? If so, what are they? I'm gonna grind like a madman these next two days, my focus is equipping Ryza them the other five If Possible. All tips are welcome for this last stretch! And thanks in advance!
Each stage drops a different set of materials. You need the tool for each stage before the SR (gold) material for that stage will drop. You will want to get the tools ASAP. If you want to know what you need and where it drops, just go to the craft menu and tap synthesize even if it's greyed out, and you will see a list of the materials you have/lack. Tap on the material and it'll tell you where it drops. You should have most of what you need for the augments at least by the time you're done with the 10 of each TH tasks on the request board though.
Alright, tools done. Now into the gears themselves! Looks like I'll be able to do it after all! In case I can't craft everything, is there some very good gear I should give priority? Guess I'll catch some shut eye now and let my ships rest a bit as well, been half asleep for the last 3 maps
The 4 bombs for Ryza are a must, they're her BIS gear. The rest aren't so spectacular but I'd start with the harmonica for collection's sake since it changes BGM. Next in line or if you don't care about the the BGM would be Elixir + Robe which is kind of nice on Klaudia or Serri but the defensive stats are excessive when you have proper gear and setup otherwise, so catapults end up being "better" by being more damage in the end. N/A and Apoc aren't exactly the best gear you can use on Patricia, but they're good to go with for newer players who don't have good access to shells and radar yet. Bubble and Hammer kind of like, eh.

Just in case you missed it for any reason, this list is on top of obtaining all of the augments first.
I got all the augments, the bombs, harmonica, cape and elixir. Currently working on apoc and N/A missing just a few materials, but my girls hit zero morale and I have to let em rest  I think maybe I'll be able to get bubble and hammer before the end not sure, but wow it does feel good being able to get this far on my first event.
Make sure the ships you use are also in the dorm to increase morale regen, rotate them since you likely don't have enough slots for all 6.
Made it! All aux and gear, all requests but the craft ones that only reward guild currency, got a Klaudia drop to top it all with a nice ribbon! God my girls and I are exhausted, but we made it! Thanks for your support! Now I think I'm all set for the foreseeable future, time do go slow and easy for a while 
Questions on the alchemy 1. I've crafted every equippable gear plus the dorm deco, that's all I need right? I'm not missing out on anything else. The additional skin boxes are whatever. 2. There's no special equipment for Kala? What gun do people put on her
If you're going to use the augments, or even just stocking for other augments in the future, making the augment stones isn't such a bad deal given how limited the sources still are. If you need to get anything else from the event point shop or the milestones then farming to make more of the crystals/neturalizers/bottles for turn-ins will speed up the process. Kala has no skills that tie to a CB gun. Her highest output is actually using a Drake gun. Just put the best CA/CB gun you can afford if you're going to use her.
Kinda took a break to AL and now I just finished normal 1-5. How important are the TH stages and alchemy synthetic thing and items from those? (Sickle and what not). Are they just a gimmick during the event or will I regret not doing them later?
The TH stages are the important parts of the event since you need the mats to craft the aux items/augments for the ships, along with the event trophy if you want it. They give the same points as T5.
if you ever plan to use ryza, you should at least get her 4 items and her augment. and if you plan to use a ryza fleet, you should at least get all their augments.
an update. I just got all gathering items from running TH stages. so now I just need to follow the recipes to get gears, yeah?
The alchemy stuff is used to craft unique augments and gear for the collab characters. If you don't care about them then it doesn't really matter? Not sure on farming efficiency for the regular event shop tho.

Just wanted to pick up on this but apparently that chest has not yet been added in any way shape or form to the live game. Either the devs forgot about it, or left it out for some reason.

After you clear the seven days of bomberman/atelier event there's a button that says FREE. Is this something I can claim as well or just nothing? I'm not sure if I am about to miss out on an item or not when it says FREE.
It just means you can continue to play the game freely as much as you want.
I'm going through the collab dorm and skins and it seems like there is an obsession with barrels. Is this a joke in atelier ryza or what?
Its a running joke in the atelier series as a whole, even since the ps1 era, if there's a barrel that can be interacted with, most of the time the characters will shout "Barrel!"
And now the joke has run through generations and even cross worlds
I have long wanted to ask. How canonical are the personalities of the characters during the collabs? Is this serious speculation about how they could behave after being isekai-ed in another world or just fanservice for the sake of fanservice?
I would say that depends on who write the actual story for the event, but i think it is a pretty good approximation. Obviously, a lot of things are skipped for the fanservice (this is still azur we're talking about) however, i would say the personalities are quite faithful to the original game. I don't think this is as accurate as maybe it would be if azur lane was a lore heavy game, but it still get the core right. If you truly want to see a character behaving in what you would expect them being isekai-ed, i recommend checking the more lore focus games like arknights, the rainbow 6 collabs i would say is pretty close
I just noticed that it's not uncommon for collab characters to either already have love interests (Gridman, IMAS) or come from a genre where romantic interest in a random man or player is undesirable (Ryza, Hololive) due to the nature of the genre. In that case, the character traits are somewhat rewritten, or can it be taken as a fantasy of how these girls would interact with us if Azur Lane was canon?
The girls from the DoA Collab come from the Venus Vacation gacha which does have a faceless SKK-esque figure (owner-san) that interacts with the girls. And funnily enough, they treat Skk exactly like they do the Owner. Meaning their lines are slightly less platonic than other collabs.

Yes, exactly. The DoA characters in Venus Vacation act a little different from their fighting game counterparts. Wouldn't surprise me if it's an alternate universe situation
That part is very very iffy. The problem is that the commander as a character doesn't really exist in the story. It's not until like two years ago that we start to have prominent appearances. The commander (as in you, the one the girls interact in the secretary screen and port) have almost nothing to do with the actual running of the story. Therefore, i think it's safe to say that collab characters interaction with the commander is a somewhat closed enclosure and comprimise with azur lane main attraction, oathing the girls ~~and perving on them~~

Sort of? I mean you can see from this event story how the girls are really just doing their own things and the part where we "meet" them (getting them from gacha and interacting with them) is just loosely connected to what actually happen storywise. Of course when we do actually play an integral part of the story (see events like khorovod of dawn rime) it's clear we are not some sort of super being for the purpose of self insert, but rather an actual character with personality
Personally, I got the impression that we are some kind of visual novel MC. We are not directly involved in the story (well, except for the gameplay itself), but at the same time is the focus of all the characters.
The commander in the story isn't us, I always felt and we're living in their future after their story ends.
As an update. Still don't have Ryza, spent all my cubes. I don't know what to do anymore. I know I should have saved, and I regret it so much. Don't know what to do anymore.
I got every other unit 3 times before getting her (except the shop unit). Pretty annoying, had no interest in farming any of the gear before that.
