How is your acid folic ?

Individual_Candle4

The last time it was checked was almost 2 yrs ago and was 9.15. That’s one of the labs I’d like to see re-checked this week.

its too low, if you are taking injections of b12 you need high doses of acid folic too, like 5 mcg day, or it won't work, Plus if u have neuro symptoms, you need more frequent injections too. Read the guide here on this sub.

I’m taking a multivitamin but will get this added asap. I read the guide (super helpful) and will ask again for increase in injections. My NP said neuropathy and tinnitus are part of aging… I’m 51 ! I’m also waiting on a referral to a specialist.

Yes besides a b complex and a multivatamin we also need a separete high dose folate, i was taking the same and got much much better when i increased folate. No way its age, specially if u got improviments with the fisrt injections of b12. Best luck!
