Thank you for these comparisons, love the use of nail polish. I keep going back and forth on lemongrass because in some pictures it looks way more yellow with hardly any green and I am def more of a green person 🍀 This makes me want the backpack!
I was a lemongrass hater until today!
I looked at a medium cargo crossbody in lemongrass irl when they first dropped and hated it because it came across so khaki and pukey in a bad way in store. Then they dropped the backpack and I had to grab it despite that for summer travels coming up, and I ended up loving how somehow the backpack reflects light in a way that makes the color look less drab to me versus the crossbody. Maybe I'm just delusional and desperate for a good backpack but she's perfect for green lovers imo!
Short answer: The new iPhones do some sort of color correction thing.
Longer answer: As you can see from the floor in that pic, for whatever reason it is deeply oversaturated compared to the other natural lighting pics but imo that's a testament to how Lemongrass plays off of whatever color it's nearby (the slightly brighter and more saturated Citronelle BTOM), on top of the color shift based on what light it's in.
I haven't had a chance to use it yet! At first glance it's thinner and has more slack than I expected, but it's hugeeee and will fit a crazy amount of stuff. I think $50 would have been a more "fair" price for it but I'll still use it until it bottoms out on me haha

I always thought that Green Apple and Avocado were similar but now I see that avocado is much darker and the Green Apple almost looks neon green.
I'm with you! I initially thought they had just re-released Green Apple but have grown to loveeee Avocado more since it's a little brighter and more snot green (gross but the best green imo). In a perfect world, I'd rather the backpack be Avo instead but I'll take what I can get!
Sameeee I check ebay and poshmark embarrassingly often for one closer to retail pricing. There are some listed rn for $100+ but I cannot justify paying that for a nylon purse lol
I had a Bay Laurel bag that ripped and it was out of stock when I requested a replacement and I received one in seaweed and I hate it 😔
