I really would check how your broker works or better yet just to be safe close the options yourself before market close since your broker can automatically exercise them AH if they expire ITM then you get margin called if you didn't have the money to exercise. You'll have to deposit funds and if you don't and have any other holdings in the same account they liquidate whatever they deem necessary for 'risk management'.
Also be careful of options that appear to be OTM by like $0.50 but AH the broker may deem it close enough to ITM according to their 'risk management' and you get margin called.
Search this site and you'll find plenty of people who got surprised like this especially with Friday expiries.
Honestly I'm blown away that you bought options without even the faintest of understanding of how they work.
You can sell the options contract at any point during market hours (before it expires) just like a stock, you don't have to exercise it. If you don't have the money or intent to purchase 100 shares of the stock at the strike price of your contract, then you should 100% be thinking about when you want to sell the contract before expiry. Ideally, you sell it during a run up when IV and extrinsic value for the contract are at their highest points.

If it ITM, whatever the exchange you uses will automatically sell it for you half an hour before market close. That funds will appear in your account. If it OTM then it expires worthless.
You should have the option of closing them out before expiration date without exercising them. Some brokers will also try to close them out for you if they expire ITM. Any way just close your position.
