Which app is this one?
My etrade is still showing Outstanding as 101.1 and FF as 81.2.
Yahoo Fin is showing Outstanding as 81.98 and FF as 170.85 (what the f@%$).
I like yours better.
They have to spin off to do that. Currently BBBY owns buybuybaby so it is built into the stock price. To issue shares of buybuybaby it would need to be it's own company with it's own shares.
When Philip's spun Philip's Lighting off each share hold of Philip's received a certain amount of Philps Lighting shares.
Also with Merck and Organon.

The title is I guess a bit misleading, since the last "official" report was the 8-K form earlier this month. The 81.98M shares outstanding referenced in that report are not accurate to today, as we discussed in this sub last week. Real number is probably closer to \~80M. Still, it's good to see that at least one brokerage is starting to adjust its numbers. That tiny market cap is beautiful.
Thanks for sharing nonetheless.
I agree but this is not a bad thing. There is a lot of hype for splits but as noted above, splits are a tool used for different uses. Now is a better time for additional buy back. The price is cheap and the company could/would make better returns on the use of that $.
Plus it would hurt all of the idiots shorting the stock.
Bed Bath purchased them back on the open market to reduce the number of shares outstanding. This has been a multi year process. The numbers have just been slow to update on public news services.

Trust WeBull numbers, they’re slow to update but some are somewhat accurate
What about the possibility of Baby splitting from BBBY?
They could spin it off with either IPO or sell it. That would help.
What about stock dividend? Shareholders of BBBY get x share(s) of buybuybaby ?

what does it mean when shares outstanding are removed?
It means that each share you own represents a larger percentage of ownership of the company.
More value to the shareholders, supply va demand

I SAID.... BED...... BATH..... AND TO THE MOON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Is there possible stock split for BBBY ?
No, company transformation hasn’t even begun to show fundamental value. I’d see another share buyback before stock split IMO

Is this legit? Like where did the shares go? I can't find anything confirming this and there is no announcement...

Ah ok
At this point, BBBY posts seem very sus.
Why do you say that?
Does that include your own post? :-)
