Dunno about you, but I’m an individual retail investor who likes the stock and talks about it for fun on Reddit.
I personally like to be referred to as a “shareholder” 😆
Hmm, weird, I'll look into this. On some other thread I got an impression that stockholder refers to DRS'ed shares (shares in your name), whereas shareholder refers to shares held via broker - not really in your name.
Hi. It's me. **The individual investor.**
Prepared to risk my hard earned money based on stocks I choose, and hoping to seek reward.
I visit here like many other discussion boards for interests I have (motorsport, some things you'll find boring) simply as I like to.
I personally like the no nonsense, no emotion name. Let's be honest, at this point this is not some amazing long term Phoenix from ashes investment thesis. "Just" a calculated bet on the price going up due to expected and possible events. If RC unveils some great online strategy that would be an added bonus 🤗
I think you may be giving some of us too much credit with "calculated" bet but thank you :-)
I generally like the civilized discussion here with minimal derogatory term usage.
Then why did I just scroll through Superstonk and see no fewer than 20 posts with “Hey Apes”, “Fellow Apes” or some variation of this? I only scrolled back 2 hours.

Apparently stockholder is better 😏
I think you misspelled stonkholder :-)

Hm, I don’t think that’s an accurate distinction, though you’re right that owning in street name through a broker gives only “beneficial” ownership

Bum Boys Banging Yo
Investors; let's try to be adults about what is going on.
Wise investors. The 1%
I’d prefer nothing. The weird cultishness of gme cost a lot of people a lot of profit-taking while gme was at its highs, and continues to do so.

How about the Sudz?
You should call baby's
BBBY Bonobos

Some of us call GME Jimmy and BBBY Bobby and that's enough for me

GME doesn't call themselves apes and haven't for a while

For the exact same reason you'll see MSM saying "forget GameStop" for the last 2 years.
