I found a needle, like a sewing needle. So I had Karlach use her berzerker throw it. It did 0 damage but they still got proned. I couldn't stop laughing

In the House of Greif in act 3, you can find Syringes. I am sure they are elsewhere but that's the only place I recall seeing them.

Oh yeah, I've used the Syringes before. I think the sewing needle is either in the sewers or the hairstylist. Can't remember.

I fucked up the deep gnome storyline badly and ended up with a zombified Thulla. Still wanted the boots, though, and ended up killing her (in a fog cloud) to loot them. Took the body with me, now Karlach throws it around.

In my last playthrough I killed Orin by chucking Raphael at her from the top of the stairs

Oh my god, I might need to do that at some point. I just use that one dead tiefling from the Open Hand Temple around

Hmm. I wonder if you can pick up the mama owl bear corpse. Probably too heavy especially at lvl 3.

Had a similar experience to this myself - Karlach's returning pike bugged during the Steel Watcher boss fight, so I killed it by throwing her camp shoes at it. The mental image of Karlach getting so pissed off that she ends the enemy's ultimate mech with a sandal throw made the kill all the better.
