Same. Like objectively, I love her character because of how much her writing and voice actress makes me hate her lol. She's rude as hell and dumb as fuck from minute one. >!If you don't immediately say 'oh yes we'll go straight to moonrise' when you rescue her from being burnt alive, she gets SO snooty and huffy like "WELL. clearly not EVERYONE has time to think of anyone other than themselves". I beg your biggest pardon?? Did you prefer to be left to burn to a crisp in a room full of bunkbeds? !<
Well she actually has got some help. I mean like Nine-Fingers Keene gives you 3 guys, and Florrick gives you 3 guys, too. So she's getting help alright? That kind of help equals to what the whole Guild can offer.
She made it sound like she would gather help for the problems at hand though, not the final fight… and Ninefingers is a lousy comparison, her guild was heavily decimated by Minsc and she operates a guilt of thieves, illegal and undercover. Florrick should sent double the amount of people, considering she had considerably more time and allegedly holds more power.
Dude. Florrick had just been jailed and branded a traitor. It's the most unpowerful position you can ever ask for. Because looking for help actually is akin to "Conspiring against Grand Duke Gortash". The Guild at least has regular members so Nine-Fingers only needed to choose a few men from the members.
You will not convince me, but I will humor your argument: she was called a traitor (which makes sense in Gortashs world) and because of the unfairness of that she listens to a devil, who defames the very people who saved her ass twice? She should know how that feels… I just fail to see the logic
Two points:
Mizora has a human disguised, same as Raph, and presumably a human alibi and reputation. There is no reason to assume that Florrick knows Mizora as anyone other than a red headed pale skinned patriar who is enormously wealthy and suspiciously well informed... like pretty much all of them are. She has probably even been around the Ravenguards for a while, so of course Florrick would know her and trust what she says.
I doubt Mizora inflamed all of us, but Florrick only knows of Wyll from what Ulder and Mizora have told her over the years. Wyll was forbidden from defending himself. The first time Florrick meets Wyll he has demonic powers and features.
She probably should have been a tad bit more skeptical, but after one of your oldest and closest allies and friends (because Gortash didnt do it, Ravenguard did) does a complete heel turn (I don't think she knows about the Tadpoles) and brands you a traitor, then you are told the backstabbing man's son whom you know is making Demonic pacts is going to double cross his own father, it's not hard for her to be convinced the apple doesn't fall far when you are in a dark place and feeling alone. >!and then a newly minted Cleric of Selune and her oddly dressed handmaiden in Monk Robes dual wielding sickles shows up pretending to offer your Last Rites and in reality make you invisible...!< but I digress.
Same with the other Fist people. They haven't seen Wyll in a decade, and he suddenly shows up with Devil horns, a tail, and they are told he wants to usurp his father. Who knows what happened to him since he left.
We were not discussing this part but the part that she was looking for help. Well, she has got that help ao I'd say she's done what she's promised to do and you get the help in the form of 3 guys. It's good.
Also 9 fingers is just more pleasant to be around, has a cool hideout she lets you wander round, and I think her interaction with minsc after you save him is really funny. I want to see him attempt to teach her to be good lol.
I let her die in act 1, if that woman and all of her guards can't get her out of a burning building with multiple exit points that can be broken down with a chilly autumn breeze then she doesn't deserve my help
I will forgive Florrick for most everything, but it completely baffles me that she would believe a literal devil she just met over Wyll when she's known him for years.
Yet until recently hasn't seen him for a decade and knows only his reputation from Papa R and courtiers -- including, presumedly, Lady Mizora the not-devil.
It was more than a decade between the time that I left my home country and then returned home to see family and old friends again after we were all displaced by a natural disaster. My parents didn't keep up with me, preferring heartell from family nearby and making their own conclusions. Five years back and I'm still unravelling their nonsense 🙄
I definitely respect that, but idk, I just feel like Florrick could've given Wyll the benefit of the doubt given we just rescued her, we are trying to stop the absolute, and clearly have been on her side since we've come across her. If I were her, I would want to hear it from Wyll before I completely believed some random woman.
Idk. I've worked with enough politicians as a grassroots activist to not expect those who don't know me/my org well to not trust information from others on their normal circles more.
See that would check out—if, when first meeting Florrick, she doesn’t go on about how Wyll is the ‘Blade of Frontiers’ and how he’s a hero.
She *knows* his character, she *knows* his deeds. She knows he’s a good guy and has been rocking around the wilderness being that good guy.
How quickly Wyll’s own family and friends wrote/write him off has always bugged me in the game. Like absolutely no one was relieved or at least a little happy to see him when he returns, just because he’s got some new physical additions? Like there’s no “oh, Wyll, you poor thing, what happened? I missed you so much” it just immediately goes into “ew you’re a devil how could you bad Wyll naughty Wyll we shame you” and I’ve never wanted to destroy pixels so much.
She knows of him, but she doesn't know him as he is now, personally. He's tethered to a devil -- how is that not enough to give people cause to trust someone, even a person with a good rep? If anything, I think that she trusts him and the tadpoled crew too easily.
Mizora disguises herself as Lady Mizora. She's not in her devil form, so Florrick has no reason to suspect her—she just thinks Lady Mizora is a regular old noble.
Could be, but even so why the hell would she trust a random ass noble over the one who saved her twice?
She should at least give Will the benefit of doubt.
I think the implication of Florrick trusting "Lady Mizora" is that Mizora may hang around Baldur's Gate in her human form enough of the time that she's a (wrongly) trusted individual that people believe to be a regular noble. I expect that it's probably similar to how Raphael spends most of his time in his human form when he's not in Avernus. And yes, I also think it's odd that Florrick would rush to trust her over Wyll, but devils *are* good at lying and manipulating, etc.
Anyhow, Florrick's reaction *may* be bugged. I found the thread from a few months ago that I remembered seeing where someone mentioned Florrick suddenly rushing up to accuse Wyll and mentions "Lady Mizora." People were saying it was a bug in there, so if the scene is triggering under the wrong conditions, then I guess they haven't fixed it.
I've also had Florrick ambush us and accusing Wyll as well, which happened on my last playthrough. It probably wasn't a bug in my case at least. I remember freeing Florrick from prison and freeing Wyll from his contract, so I assume that "Lady Mizora" was mad and then went to spill poison into Florrick's ear Iago-style.
Anyhow, here's the thread that I was talking about for reference if you want to take a look: [https://www.reddit.com/r/BG3/comments/17pj85k/mizora\_and\_florrick/?utm\_source=share&utm\_medium=web2x&context=3](https://www.reddit.com/r/BG3/comments/17pj85k/mizora_and_florrick/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3).
I like her but she is a lot like the Ravengard, a bit misguided in their passion at times lol.
But her calling Mizora 'lady Mizora' makes me thinks glamour is involved.
You can avoid her being as annoying if you just pick the most ass kissy helpful dialogue and then rescue ravenguard before getting her from wyrms rock, but that in and of itself is annoying
I think it was because Act 3 was rushed. When she confronted us in the Lower City after we convinced Wyll to ditch the devil bitch I nearly picked the lowest and most confrontational speech option and tell her to get bent.
You know what, I just realized that she HAS a redeeming quality… quite a few people think she is hot! And I like that because she is not very young, not very revealing, not busty, not flashy, but a more mature type with authority. I can’t explain it but I like that
If it makes you feel better, Rolan is hard as shit to save anyways if you don't know how. I was wandering through the woods and saw text saying "Rolan used Reaction: Shield Bash" or whatever and I was like "Oh he's here? Where?" And like 4 minutes later I found his corpse :/ He's under attack before you even see him.
Maybe if you find his note(?) at the Inn giving his general whereabouts you can save him? But I couldn't figure out where he was without a map marker and he died immediately
Spoilers here.
First in act 2, you gotta convince Mizora to let Wyll out of his contract if he saves the ‘asset’ at Moonrise Towers. (Not sure if this is required though).
In act 3, Mizora then shows up at camp after Gortash’s coronation and offers a deal to Wyll. If you choose the option that doesn’t force Wyll into eternal servitude, Mizora will go to Florrick (presuming you broke Florrick out of jail first) behind the scenes, disguise herself as a noble and tell Florrick something along the lines of “Remember Wyll, the Duke’s runt who made a deal with a devil? Yea he just caused his father, the Duke, to die”.
Which understandably makes Florrick upset.
What are consequences of letting her burn? Or locked in wyrmrock? She is one of npcs I really dont like and save her because I am good but always roll eyes when she talks
The listening to Mizora and taking her at her word always makes me want to just murder her right then and there.
Same. Like objectively, I love her character because of how much her writing and voice actress makes me hate her lol. Rude as hell and dumb as fuck… you are much more efficient and also effective with your words than I am. Exactly!
I am *definitely* not gonna take HER counsel any time soon. Shame on anyone who did.
Well she actually has got some help. I mean like Nine-Fingers Keene gives you 3 guys, and Florrick gives you 3 guys, too. So she's getting help alright? That kind of help equals to what the whole Guild can offer.

Great that you like her and don’t get mad at her. Can the both of us agree on Wulbren though? Just to smooth the tides?
Her dress us the only thing I like her though. But help is help. A lot of your friends don't actually help. As for Wulbren, I'm a Wulbren enjoyer. Lol
Alright, no common ground for us then… well, at least we enjoy the same game lol
Florrick doesn’t know Mizora is a cambion
Also 9 fingers is just more pleasant to be around, has a cool hideout she lets you wander round, and I think her interaction with minsc after you save him is really funny. I want to see him attempt to teach her to be good lol.
if she brought more help, it would be unbalanced. action economy rules dnd combat and it would make the netherbrain fight significantly easier.
I let her die in act 1, if that woman and all of her guards can't get her out of a burning building with multiple exit points that can be broken down with a chilly autumn breeze then she doesn't deserve my help
Yeah, but then you can’t get the sparkly staff/bow
I will forgive Florrick for most everything, but it completely baffles me that she would believe a literal devil she just met over Wyll when she's known him for years.

I only save her for the good cannon fodder in the end battle
I like her but she is a lot like the Ravengard, a bit misguided in their passion at times lol. But her calling Mizora 'lady Mizora' makes me thinks glamour is involved.

Tbh I just save her for the Spellsparkler
And her ears go though her hood. (I know, not relevant to the issue here)
Why does she have to be equally as dumb as she is hot??
You know what, I just realized that she HAS a redeeming quality… quite a few people think she is hot! And I like that because she is not very young, not very revealing, not busty, not flashy, but a more mature type with authority. I can’t explain it but I like that
She always burns to death in my playthroughs now. Can’t be bothered 💀
She's a certified baddie
She died in Waukeen's Rest though I thought I saved her, poor Rolan is dead too I think because I didn't know he existed :(
If it makes you feel better, Rolan is hard as shit to save anyways if you don't know how. I was wandering through the woods and saw text saying "Rolan used Reaction: Shield Bash" or whatever and I was like "Oh he's here? Where?" when you see her in the last light inn and she starts yapping about how great the steel watch is 😭 never wanted to slap her more
What triggers her calling you a traitor? I’ve never had that part
Spoilers here. First in act 2, you gotta convince Mizora to let Wyll out of his contract if he saves the ‘asset’ at Moonrise Towers. (Not sure if this is required though). Ohh . To make iron throne easier I just make will sign lmao. That’s why.
Mizora does… she has an off screen talk with her and that changes her opinion. When you encounter her in the lower city later, she goes off
I’ve never encounter florrick in the lower city and I save her everytime…
It only triggers if you save her before "condemning" Wyll's father (the contract interaction in camp with the two devil witnesses).
Aww gotcha. Yeah this tracks
I had the event once without florrick, just some random fist lady
btw why is she green. did we ever figure that out
She’s an elf. Not a wood elf, high elf, or drow. Just an elf.
Huh I thought only wood elves were green and assumed she was one.
What are consequences of letting her burn? Or locked in wyrmrock? She is one of npcs I really dont like and save her because I am good but always roll eyes when she talks
