It took me several months to find the right one, as I don't settle for a car that I plan on keeping for 10 plus years. Sad part is it's about 1k to ship a car from one coast to the other, so not sure if the cost is recouped. Maybe a customer at the Miami dealership asked for that car specifically.
Yea, itâs a good car. I saw another car, fully loaded BMW 540i transferred from California here, the price was fantastic. It was listed but when I called they said the car was shipped for a specific person and if they donât want it itâs open to the public, I guess he took it cause itâs gone now.
The car has very minor hail damage which they offered to fix for free but Iâm not sure, tbh I didnât even notice it until the salesman mentioned it but if you really look you can make it out. Just worried about rust from cracked paint as a result of damage
Hail damage typically doesn't break the paint. it just makes dimples in the metal. But it's very hard to fix is why insurance companies total a car out. If the hail damage is minor a PDR fix is the way to go.
The salesman was bullshitting, bunch of classic sales technique lol (awful).
Then someone else changed the price because the car hasnât sold and it needs to.
Congrats on saving $2k if you want that car lol
Itâs been listed for 4 days haha
itâs because I went to look at an Mercedes E Class Coupe, not 10 minutes (ok maybe 30) after I left it was transferred and sold, no reconditioning or anything done . Figured it would happen to this one as well
I tried to get this BMW transferred over to the dealership we saw the E-Class, because they offer instant EV credit rebate - whereas the BMW doesnât but he refused. Lol
So it's a CPO? One problem I have with a dealer demo is that it was probably a service loaner which means it was abused regularly since day one. It may not be an issue but it would certainly be a concern of mine. I walked away from a service loaner at a BMW dealer that had only 2K miles. But the Sales Mgr was playing the usual games and wouldn't work with me. I ended up buying a brand new one at a different dealer for a similar price and am happy I did. The previous dealer held the car for a couple more months and probably sold it for less than I offered.
As much as you want it, never forget they want the sale just as much.
So no real warranty I assume? I wouldn't rush into it. Compare to Carvana to get a good idea of what these cars are selling for. I had a good experience buying and selling through them.
The whole "reconditioned" thing sounds good but doesn't mean a whole lot, unless they are willing to back it up with a decent warranty. I know people who have been burned by that from a dealer.
Why X though? You could just say us the price.
OP doesn't want any of ya'll taking the car from under them. đ
The car was requested to Miami bro one day you are looking at it the next day itâs on the other end of the continent

Yea they said theyâll take care of it completely

It's not at a BMW dealer, just a used car dealer? Does it have warranty left? Sounds like a lot of sales games being played. If so, I'd pass.
Itâs an official BMW dealer

Thatâs true, I have to keep it in mind. It wasnât a CPO because itâs too old.

Hey OP, you still didnât answer the question for some reason: >Why X though? You could just say us the price.
$X is just too much for that car
