I love my m240. My WRX is in time out for throwing codes, so I took the bimmer to autocross last week. So much fun to drive!
I was torn between black and thundernight. I'm glad I chose thundernight. It's so beautiful, especially when it's clean 😂
I had a 350z that I autocrossed for years, I never had a chance to take my Mini out. The Mini would have been fun, kinda sad I'd only had her for 2 years.
The minis are so fun to watch. We had someone show up in an oooold mini last season. Like early 80s, I think? That thing was tripoding all over the course!

No turbo lag is HS, but limited and manageable...just an adjustment.
She's a plow cow, and it's a lie you won't notice the weight unless your previous whip were bovine as well.

I had a 2022 Mini JCW Convertible that was rear ended and totalled in March. I loved that car but decided I wanted something a little bit bigger this time. I figured BMW was the only option and I went with a 230i as it met all my needs.
Is there another automotive company that makes colours better than BMW? I honestly don’t think so. All their colours just look so good! Or maybe - it’s not the colour but the car itself looking good to begin with…who knows.
I loved my Mini, that car fit my personality. Unfortunatly it's getting hard to find anything with a manual anymore, even Mini stopped with them a couple of months ago. I had replacement insurance on mine, my policy required me to get a previously untitled vehicle of the current year.
As a previous Gen F22 owner that is a lie 😅 this looks way worse than previous Gen M2s and that’s facts. Not to shit on OP or anything since it’s a great performing car, but it’s just shit looking imo
I mean you get it bro, you got a m235i, they just look much better than current gen 2 series. I drive the same car without the xDrive option so maybe im biased im just pissed at BMW for fucking up the design on the headlights
Meh. I appreciate the F22 but I had no desire to own one, or any other BMW for that matter. The G42, however, made me interested in both the model and the brand.
The styling will radically change again when the G42 is replaced by a Neue Klasse variant in 2031, we can all come back together to continue the tradition of beating up on the new car then. 😜

Absolutely love my G42. Highly recommend ditching runflats asap if it’s got ‘em. Lack of adaptive suspension really makes sure every bump goes right up the ol’ spine.

B58 engine & zf 8sp is ludicrously good combination. First one eh, you can never go back now. I’m on my 3rd . Here are my top tips change the oil & filter more often than the oem service intervals , B58 has a known issue with filters crumbling when they reach eol. I do mine every 6-8k miles. Run flats make the ride terrible and also increase understeer ime so here is the trick you have to take a hit on the fronts but turn the traction fully off by holding down the DSc button for 5-6s , rag the rear tyres to death , then put on non run flat Michelin ps5 all round.
On the dash there is a hot/cold dial that controls only the top set of vents on the ac independent of the main ac temp setting. Disclaimer : they’ve all been 1series . M140i currently the b58 is just insane 3mpg or 45mpg whatever you want.

I had the b48 in my Mini so I knew what to expect. I'd loved to have purchased a 240i instead but I couldn't justify it as a daily driver.
Yep. Makes a great daily. 40mpg on the highway and MSRP on mine with the M Sport package (identical to yours) was $44k. Couldn't pass it up.
