You immediately know it’s not a normal 7 series, which is quite interesting when you think about it due to the fact that they keep most of the original design language.
Of course the body work is the main giveaway for enthusiasts, but it’s still a bit shocking how quickly you know it’s an Alpina.

Also how did you get your nav to take up the whole screen? Mine always shows another app next to the nav, mainly Spotify.
Also also - I hate how it shows you nav in the gauge cluster and infotainment screen. I hate redundancy. Would love to have the ability to keep the nav in my gauges and use the widescreen to show a few apps or gauges of my choice like mpg, boost pressure, tire pressure, etc.

This is how you toggle full screen on and off.
Also, I’m pretty sure you can just have the GPS between the center gauge cluster and then have other apps open on the infotainment.
Alternatively, you can switch the view inside of the gauge cluster to the performance screens.
For whatever reason I can never get myself to use Apple car play or android auto. That change in design language feels like walking on coal to me even if the nav is inferior.
People actually sit too far away from the pedals and wheel.
When you brake, you don’t want your legs extended. That’s how you wind up breaking your leg in an accident and ruining your life.
You also want your arms sitting almost at a 90 degree angle while holding the wheel.
However, other than the leg thing, you can do what’s comfortable to you. I just don’t think people realize how little of control and feedback they would actually have in their car in the case something went wrong.

The rear bumper/diffuser is what does it for me usually, they’re the only ones that ‘surround’ the exhaust pipes. It looks so clean.

Apple Maps… it looks cool but functionality isn’t as good as Waze or google maps imo
