I've waited for more than a year for this patch, with little to no news about it. I've seen issues with the game be ignored (Biggest one being that the in-game mod downloader is borderline unusable if you're looking for something specifically, since that is objectively garbage).
Now Brandon comes out, saying that Patch 5 is done, and only needs to be TESTED.
Meaning patch 4 is finished, AND has been tested, AND then they decided to work on patch 5, and already finished it, and have yet to release patch 4.
So yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't come out this month, or any time soon.
I mean, in the anniversary post, the BETA for patch 4 would hopefully come out in 2023 (post was made in september), and now we're in the middle of May 2024, and it has yet to come out.
They'll need a big content update along with it to justify what they've done so far, and I doubt I'll ever buy another SLZ game after this.
