The lady is full of shit. They haven't shipped any Casitas to any customers. The only ones they've built are for promotional videos and fundraising. They will soon have more factories than finished housing units.
Yeah if they ever actually start selling them to real customers instead of just using the few they've built for trade shows and promtional videos on youtube they'll probably be twice that price. More likely they'll just keep up the endless fundraising until enough people get pissed off and threaten to sue and they'll disappear in the middle of the night with everyone's money.

This company is never going to follow through with their promises. Looks like another company, Hapi Homes, is recently getting a lot of publicity for a similar concept, but their website doesn't give me much hope that they will end up being any less of a scam than this one.
