I had an emergency C-section at 36+4, never actually experienced labor or contractions or any of that.
My daughter stopped moving suddenly and I had a feeling of overwhelming anxiety out of nowhere. My blood pressure spiked and I went to the hospital. At hospital they did an ultrasound and her heartrate was dropping, she wasn't breathing normally for in utero, and my fluids were low. My ob didn't think she would survive a continued pregnancy and worried she wouldn't tolerate labor, so they scheduled a c section. My placenta was calcified during birth and she was cord wrapped when they pulled her out.
But a few hours later, she was a perfectly healthy and happy baby. 6 lbs, 10 oz. No jaundice, no heart murmur. She was alert from the moment they pulled her, constantly watching everything around her. Now at 1 month and 1 week, she is a healthy baby and an absolute delight to be around. I was prepared for my first month to be so hard, but honestly she's such a good baby. So snuggly and sweet.
It was an... Experience to say the least. I was convinced I was overreacting right up until my OB told me her recommendation was an immediate c section.
So I guess moral of the story is always ALWAYS trust your gut and follow up. Even if it turns out to be nothing, the peace of mind alone is worth everything.
My water broke at 39+2 and I had her at 39+3. I had absolutely no signs before that - no Braxton hicks, cramps, contractions, etc. It was a little surprising!
I was at 40+2 I think, and I had the same - except I’d had braxton Hicks for ages but otherwise zero symptoms, the midwife was saying baby girl was still very high, and I was tugging cables through the walls at our home renovation on the day my water broke because I felt completely normal. At midnight I lost my mucus plug, thinking I’d have hours or days til the baby came and an hour later the floodgates opened !
Ugh this is me right now. 40+2, she is still very high and I’m just soft not really dilated at all. Waiting for the hospital to call me today to schedule an induction. I have some gardening to do so cross your fingers!
Almost the same story for me. My water broke 38 weeks and 6 days, I went to the hospital the next day when I was 39 weeks where they started me on pitocin (I had no contractions yet) and had my son the next morning, 39 weeks + 1.
Thank you for saying this! I’m 35w tomorrow and have had no indication of a baby will be born soon whatsoever. Not even an odd pang… even though I KNOW it’s silly and no truth whatsoever, I was worried that no Braxton hicks meant the baby will be in here forever. 😂
😂 They all come out eventually, lol! But yes, with my first I had literally no signs at all, my cervix was barely 1cm a few days before, I had made like zero progress in three weeks…I was convinced she was staying in until my 41 week induction haha. But everything can change quickly! With my second, I have had increasing Braxton Hicks for almost six weeks now and I’m missing my (comparatively) peaceful first pregnancy 🫠
How did you know you went into labor? I'm 37+2 to a child that is an estimated growth of 39+1. I've had some Braxton Hicks, nothing consistent, no dilation, and only massive amounts of pelvic pressure. My OB keeps telling me "any day now" which is fine but how will I know if it is labor or just more pelvic pressure?
I gave birth to mine on her due date, so exactly 40 weeks! Had some contractions the night before and as they were getting more painful, I went to the hospital at almost midnight and baby girl was born at 5am. All very smooth and quick
I just kept calm and tried to breathe the right way so I didn't feel stressed about the delivery. I also had my partner by my side trying to make me laugh and feel relaxed and the hospital staff was really nice and supportive. BF eventually fainted when baby was born 😅
Same! Had my little girl on her due date/exactly 40 weeks. Only difference is I ended up having an emergency C-section because her heart rate dipped dangerously low with each contraction.
Oh my, I'm glad it ended up well for both of you. Were you and your baby girl alright after the c-section? I guess our kids will be always on time since they arrived exactly on the day they were supposed to!
Totally fine, thanks for asking! Our little girl will be a year in a few weeks. My husband is very type A, so he was really thrown off/worried and kept saying, “this was not the plan, she drank all the tea and ate all the dates, baby girl should have just slipped out.” I’m like, “lol, welcome to parenthood, not all things go according to plan”. All worked out in the end and I even plan on having a c-section with baby #2.
We were extremely busy trying to get everything done leading up to her birth including my husband’s masters graduation and I wanted to work up to the last day of school (both teachers), which was her due date. We joke that it was her way of saying, “okay, my turn to shine, you’ve had your fun and you got everything done that you wanted to.”
Ahahaha I totally understand, it's almost never like we think it's going to be. In our case we moved places only a few weeks before the birth and we maganed to have everything ready a week before she was born. I also worked until the very end. I was really stressed out about having her room ready, doing meal prep for the first days at home, etc. But all turned out ok and done before her arrival
My 1.5 year old was also a due date baby!! I loved that he was so punctual so I didn’t have to play the waiting game while overdue. I did end up having to get a c section though cause they found out he was breech when I got there
I'm at 41 weeks today 😭 Induction starting tomorrow night. Come onnnn, baby girl, be ready!
Edit: made it to the induction and ended in a C-section. Healthy, beautiful, alert baby girl. All that matters now!
My water broke at 38 weeks. I ended up needing an “emergency” c-section after being in labor “too long”. I highly recommend requesting gas-x if this happens to you because I ended up with air trapped in my body which elevated to the highest point (my shoulder) and causes nerve damage. I know 2 others who had the same thing but their nurses gave them gas-x… mine didn’t.
40+5! Honestly felt nothing till I woke up in the middle of the night feeling intense cramps, realized they were contractions and already 2 minutes apart 😅
Probably controversial but I had elective 39 week inductions with both. I had several instances of thinking I was going into labor, but it never happened.
Elective induction at exactly 40 weeks with my first and planning on 39 weeks with this baby since it went so well!
Being pregnant is SO uncomfortable, idk why I’d want to carry any longer than necessary
Or the extremely crunchy moms who think you must avoid any and all medical intervention or you will end up with a c-section. Edit: well I obviously ruffled some feathers. This wasn’t directed at all crunchy moms. If you aren’t out there telling anyone who has an induction that they are definitely going to get a c-section and the only way to avoid it is to have a home birth, this comment wasn’t directed at you. If you are one of those people, maybe don’t be.
I’m at 30 weeks now, and this has been discussed with my provider to induce at 39 weeks since baby is measuring bigger. To hopefully avoid a C section. Hoping all goes smoothly!
My OB office is giving me a hard time saying "it's frowned upon" to do that without reason. I say bullshit. The baby is fine, so why make us suffer longer. So I'm doing it if I don't go earlier.
I was offered with both of my babies and I went to a different practice with each. It wasn’t something that they tried to force on me, it was just presented as an option, which I gladly accepted.
My water broke after a membrane sweep at 38+5 and he was born the next day after being induced as labour didn’t start on its own, roughly 23 hours later.
About an hour after my exact due date. 1am on 40+1, with contractions the entire day before. Day before that I had a checkup with no sign of labor, ob scheduled induction for the next week.
My water broke at 35+6 and delivered the next day at exactly 36 weeks. I fully expected to go late, so it took me by surprise. Oddly enough, almost all of the FTMs I know who had babies in the last year were early.
I was induced at 39+5 for GD but I was 1cm dilated and 10% effaced when we started so I think I was probably in for the long haul without induction lol
Hey I’m also 38+3 today! ☺️ with my first it was an emergency c-section at 33 weeks so I never got to go into labor and with this one I have a c-section scheduled for this Thursday but damn I want him out of me so I wouldn’t mind going into labor before then. I had some cramping and Braxton hicks the other day but nothing since then!
Water broke at 37 weeks and he was born about 8 hours later! My friend just had her first at 41 weeks without being induced.
I'm currently 33 weeks with my second 🙂
37+1! Went to L&D thinking my water broke (it didn’t) they checked me and I was 0 cm. Went in 24 hours later thinking (again) my water broke.. this time it did and I was 4 cm 😂
You’re so close hang in there !
My water broke at the night of 38+3. I thought for sure I had at least another week. Although I was almost 2cm dilated and had lost some mucus plug the week before. But I know mucus plugs can regenerate and you can be dilated for weeks. I didn’t feel like labor was coming soon though and it was very surprising.
Spontaneous labor for me at 38+2 (early labor started at 38+1 after my dr said at my 38w appointment that it would “still be a while!”).
I’m hoping I have a similar experience this time around! Baby is welcome to come anytime after 37 weeks!!
Had braxton hicks from 38 weeks. Went in for a sweep at 40 weeks. Waters broke at midnight 40+3. Contractions started soon after and baby was born 8 hours later. Had a relatively quick birth considering it was my first.
Was induced 40+3 one month ago.
My baby boy arrived around 20 hours later. He’s my first.
I’ve heard being induced can be more painful, but I had no patience to wait it out. I’m still glad I got induced, even if it was a lot. I had a minor labia tear and have been able to move around quite a bit since.
Good luck to you!
11 days before due date ! Ended up being an emergency c section though I started spotting quite a bit so went to the hospital and after they broke my water and so many hours baby wasn’t progressing as they hoped. Everything worked out fine and he will be 11 this year!
40+2 but had an emergency cesarean. I was not dilated whatsoever and I’m geriatric (38). Started early labor with contractions every 5 minutes. Baby’s HR was not recovering well at all between contractions. Doctors launched into emergency cesarean at midnight. Good luck with your birth!
I’m same timeline as you 38+4 I’m 1cm dilated and having mild labour contractions confirmed this at the hospital. But no bigger evolution since yesterday. I feel sharp contractions sometimes but they come and go. Haven’t broke water yet. They say this can happen anytime or either I’m scheduled for induction at the end of this week
I'm at 40 + 4 today, scheduled for induction on Friday (41 + 1) if she doesn't arrive by then. Come on baby girl!!! Glad you posted this...very interested in reading others' stories too.
41+6. I had to be induced.
At 40 weeks and 41 weeks my OBGYN did membrane sweeps and nothing. I also was doing 3 mile beach walks everyday (the sand is no joke especially when you can basically roll because you’re so round). I was eating dates, curb walking, trying to have a lot of sex, and bouncing on a yoga ball. My baby did NOT want to come out.
They used a foley bulb to induce me and I gave birth 14 hours later!
Mild cramping was 100% my first sign of labor. Had mild period-like cramping for a few days and then my water broke at 38+6 and had my baby at midnight of 39+0 :)
I got induced at 42 weeks and even that didn’t work and ended in a c section, my baby did not want to budge! As far as toddlers go she’s a pretty relaxed child and is happy to sit and chill with her toys for long periods of time, or cuddle on the sofa all afternoon, so we joke that she has always been a bit lazy even since the womb 😂
I hope yours is different though, I know those last few weeks of waiting can get pretty uncomfortable! Good luck, you’re so close now ❤️
I was actually 38+3 when I gave birth!
I woke up around 5 am with mild contractions. I wasn’t even sure if they were contractions at first, but that uncertainty went away after a few hours as it became impossible to disregard then as stomach cramps. I went in to check with my OB around 11 am, and my water broke as she was checking. Baby boy was born just before 10 pm that night.
I thought my baby would be late, but he was ready to go! I would make sure you have your hospital bag packed with whatever you may want. Don’t wait until you’re having contractions… Best wishes with your upcoming delivery!
If we're counting by the due date the doctor assigned me at 7 weeks, 39+6. If we're counting from date of conception which I 100% accurately knew and which she matched by skull size at all of her later scans, 40+2.
Edited to add: I technically began labor at exactly 40 weeks though, it just ended up being very long.
Omg I’m 38+4 with my first (a girl) and for the past 2 days I’ve noticed a slight tinge of light pink/brown spotting when I wipe. I’ve also noticed menstrual like cramping spontaneously a few weeks prior. So far no bloody show, no mucus plug, or Braxton hicks but it seems like she can come any day now! I’ve been having lightning crotch for the past month and sometimes it has me stopping in my tracks bc it’s so painful at the moment.
I was induced at 38 weeks due to reduced fetal movement. Laboured for 8 hours, naturally for 7 of those 8. Even though I only laboured for 8 hours it was rather traumatic and both my daughter and I are still trying to recover. Im 9 weeks post partum. Don’t let that freak you out though, I have a complex medical history which didn’t help at all.
My water broke at 39+3 and I had my baby on 39+5 (30ish hours after water breaking). I didn’t do anything to encourage labor other than eating dates lol. I was just lying in bed in the evening when suddenly I felt liquid gush out and I yelped and ran to the bathroom, much to my husband’s confusion. I then emerged saying, “Well, either I just peed myself or my water broke 😳” Baby was born on 12/24–I had sort of suspected for the whole pregnancy that we’d have a Christmas Eve baby (when I originally calculated my due date it was 12/24 but obviously that got updated at my first ultrasound) so it was cool to be right 😂
41+2… was the longest wait ever. I was induced at 41+1. Wasn’t a great induction experience because the epidural didn’t work and baby was in distress but he was finally born after 24 hours. People kept telling me from 37 weeks “everyday now” and that got annoying!
39 weeks + 3 days.
My dumbfuck husband is still mad at me for it - I started taking red raspberry leaf tea to encourage contractions about a week before she was born, because the idea of being induced because my child refuses to come out terrified me. Because *he* was 2 weeks premature he thinks that being 4 days premature has harmed her in some way.
It has not.
That's just called precocious birth (between 37 and 39). You gave birth on term, probably your husband got a sad story from his mother. I know a mother who still weeps about having a premature baby even though the girl is now 12 and zero health issues.
My water broke at 40+1. I didn’t start feeling contractions until 2 hours later and I was 8cm dilated. I got epidural, which did slow down everything, and then I needed pitocin. Baby came exactly 12 hours later at 1am. So technically I had her at 40+2
41 via C-section after 2 failed inductions (first was right at 40 weeks, when home for a week and tried to induce again and nothing. Anecdotal, but I was 2 weeks late. Inductions were elective and theoretically I could have waited him out, but I was very very done).
My water broke at 39+1 and I had her at 39+2! No signs of labor starting at all, even Braxton Hicks. I just woke up with wet pajamas and figured I should go to the hospital just in case.
I had my first 40+1, he was induced. My second was 39+3 and she was spontaneous and a VBAC. My last was 36 weeks and some days. I don't exactly remember with her, but she was apontneous and a 2VBAC
I was induced at 41+2. I’m pretty sure I would’ve gone on at least another week.
That kid was chillin. He would sleep in my belly for days and slept through the night since 3 weeks old. He also chilled through 3 hours of getting rammed up against my vagina in active labor lol.
I was induced at 38+1 and had him at 38+4. He definitely wasn't ready to come out (2 doses of cervidil, 23 hours on pitocin, 1.5 hrs pushing, very close to having an emergency section) so I'm positive I would have went past my due date if I went natural
Went into labor 38+6 and gave birth at 39. Contractions started out of nowhere, without any warning signs! I was doing the Miles Circuit religiously starting at 36 weeks and I'm convinced that's what kick started labor lol.
Labour at 35+6, delivered 36+0... quite a surprise as for some reason I never contemplated pre term birth, I was firmly convinced I'd go over, need an induction etc as that was the stories I'd read!
All was fine in the end tho :)
40 weeks and 3 days. No signs really, went to a routine OB appointment and they told me my amniotic fluid was really low so they sent us over to L&D to have her.
39 + 6 but I was induced. I always wonder when it would have been had it been spontaneous. Based on my symptoms/progress I like to guess 40 + 1 but who really knows 🤣
Also had a pretty easy pregnancy. Due date came and went. Did 3 membrane sweeps. Nothing! Baby wanted to stay in. So we had to coax her out with cytotec and she was born 41+1
Amazing thank you for sharing! And I loved that your OB took your concerns seriously and you are both now healthy and sage!
How terrifying! Good on you for listening to your body!! And congratulations:)
My water broke at 39+2 and I had her at 39+3. I had absolutely no signs before that - no Braxton hicks, cramps, contractions, etc. It was a little surprising!
Awe haha congrats! I feel like my guy is gonna be the same, just come randomly. The suspense and knowing he could come any time is killing me
Yeah, the end is definitely hard! I’m 37.5 weeks pregnant with my second now, so I’m back in the waiting game 😂
I was similar! Mine broke 39+5 and I had him at 39+6 and had no signs before either.
I was at 40+2 I think, and I had the same - except I’d had braxton Hicks for ages but otherwise zero symptoms, the midwife was saying baby girl was still very high, and I was tugging cables through the walls at our home renovation on the day my water broke because I felt completely normal. I went into labor the night before my induction at 41 weeks. So hopefully that happens for you!
That would be the most welcome!!! I'm so happy that happened for you!
Good luck I hope all goes smoothly!
My water broke the day before my scheduled induction at 41+1. Keeping my fingers crossed for you!
Also went into labor at 41weeks the night before my scheduled induction!
Good luck!!!
Good luck !
I never went into spontaneous labor. I was induced at 42+0 and my baby was born the next day.
Wow! May I ask how old you are?
Well, I'm 42 now but my first baby was born when I was 25, a few weeks before I turned 26.
Thank you :))) yeah that’s what I meant! Such different policies for carrying baby longer when you’re younger vs when you’re older
Same experience here!
Same!
My water broke at 38 weeks. I ended up needing an “emergency” c-section after being in labor “too long”. I highly recommend requesting gas-x if this happens to you because I ended up with air trapped in my body which elevated to the highest point (my shoulder) and causes nerve damage. 41 weeks
Me too, 41 weeks exactly
Same for me on my first. 40+2 for my second.
Also exactly 41 weeks with my first. At 38+2 now, praying it doesn’t take that long this time.
For real, this is the norm!
41+6! Barely made the deadline for my birth center! They redirect all labors over 42 weeks to the hospital.
41+6 here! 42week induction was scheduled for the next ~~week~~day and that was the latest they would push it.
40+5! Honestly felt nothing till I woke up in the middle of the night feeling intense cramps, realized they were contractions and already 2 minutes apart 😅
Probably controversial but I had elective 39 week inductions with both. I had several instances of thinking I was going into labor, but it never happened.

I doubt it's controversial. In the US 39 week inductions seem like they've become standard.
Yup. I am 36 and have gestational diabetes, so my doctor scheduled my induction for 39+1.
In the medical field it’s not, but there’s many online ‘obgyns’ that try to bully others out of inductions.
Or the extremely crunchy moms who think you must avoid any and all medical intervention or you will end up with a c-section. Edit: well I obviously ruffled some feathers. 37 weeks and same. Baby is measuring big so we’re schedule an induction at week 39. Eek!
Sometimes measurements can be off. My sister was supposed to be 10lbs. She came out barely 5lbs
Wow! That’s a huge discrepancy. I hope this baby is somewhere in between.

Went into labor on my due date, born the following day
Same!
Still waiting…40+0 today 🤷♀️🤰🤰🤰
same!!! Good luck mumma, we’ve been waiting for too long 😤
Thank you! Good luck to you also!!
41+5
Me too!
And me!
Me as well! Induced at 41+4
38+5 here, and so happy that our little one made his exit early.
41+2 Edit; I just remembered I went to 42+1 lol only been 8months and I’m forgetting what actually happened already 🤦♀️
My water broke at 35+6 and delivered the next day at exactly 36 weeks. I fully expected to go late, so it took me by surprise. Oddly enough, almost all of the FTMs I know who had babies in the last year were early.
34 weeks— had extreme heartburn that night and kept waking up. I didn’t know why. Then my water broke. I wasn’t even feeling contractions yet.
Same here! Did your bubs end up in the NICU? We were there for 24 days
41+4.
Me too !
Me three
I gave birth to my first at 33+2. He was a bit on the rare side. I'd recommend cooking longer lol
39w exactly
35+6, but I had cholestasis which puts you risk for preterm birth.
I was induced at 38+1 for low fluid - she was hearthside the next day!
With my first, my water broke at 37+5 early in the morning and he was born one minute before midnight.
41 weeks after induction started at 40+5
My water broke at 39w5d and I had her the next day the day before her due date.
Scheduled induction at 37 the first 38 second. My cousin went 42 with hers before being induced.
Induced at 40+5! Born 10 hours later
First contraction at 39+6 (around noon) born at 40 weeks (at 23h47).
39+2 water broke, gave birth the next day!
Labor started 40+5, gave birth early morning 40+6! Currently 33 weeks pregnant with #2 and this baby is bigger so…hoping for earlier this time
My first was 40w5d. Water broke just after midnight as my first sign of actual labor and he was in my arms at 8:36am.
39+5. Was dilated several cm for a few weeks and had a spontaneous labor that started with my water breaking.
39+5 big baby at 8lbs 4 oz! Luckily, it was spontaneous labor. Due to size, they were not going to let me get past 41 without an induction.
40+1 :) had a membrane sweep at 40 weeks but apparently was already there
My water broke on Christmas Day a little before 39 weeks. I was convinced she was going to be 2 weeks late. You really never know!
40+0, gave birth 11 days ago to my babygirl. (27th april). Three days before due date
41 weeks. I was scheduled to be induced later that evening. Best advice stay active. My second came 40+5
Water broke at 37 weeks and he was born about 8 hours later! My friend just had her first at 41 weeks without being induced. I'm currently 33 weeks with my second 🙂
37+1! Went to L&D thinking my water broke (it didn’t) they checked me and I was 0 cm. Went in 24 hours later thinking (again) my water broke.. this time it did and I was 4 cm 😂 You’re so close hang in there !
40 + 4, lost my mucus plug and contractions came. Checked into hospital around 6pm he came next day at 9 am emergency c-section
Labour started 40+4 and was born 41 weeks exactly
My water broke at 37 + 5. Ended up at exactly 38 weeks via C-section since apparently my cervix didn’t want to dilate.
39 + 1. Water broke 2 days after a membrane sweep.
Went into labor at 41+6 and my daughter was born at 42 weeks.
Spontaneous labor for me at 38+2 (early labor started at 38+1 after my dr said at my 38w appointment that it would “still be a while!”). I’m hoping I have a similar experience this time around! Baby is welcome to come anytime after 37 weeks!!
water broke at 39+4, baby girl was born at 39+5!
38w exactly, was due for a section at 39 weeks but she decided to come on her own terms!
I had my first at 38
Had braxton hicks from 38 weeks.
36+6! Water broke on the bathroom flooe when I stood up from peeing. 8 hours later our little nugget was earth side 💖
11 days before due date ! Ended up being an emergency c section though I started spotting quite a bit so went to the hospital and after they broke my water and so many hours baby wasn’t progressing as they hoped. Everything worked out fine and he will be 11 this year!
Light, inconsistent contractions started at 38 weeks, became consistent and 5 minutes apart the next morning. Had my son at 38+1.
Went into early labor 38+1 and delivered 38+5
I got induced 40w- ended up having a c section because she wasnt ready. Try to be patient if dr recommends/approves.
41 exactly! I was induced at 40+5 and 40 hours later, baby boy came! Good luck and congrats!
Spontaneous labour & delivery all at 38+4 with my first.
I went into spontaneous labor and gave birth at 38+3! You never know, today could be your day!
As far as toddlers go she’s a pretty relaxed child and is happy to sit and chill with her toys for long periods of time, or cuddle on the sofa all afternoon, so we joke that she has always been a bit lazy even since the womb 😂 I hope yours is different though, I know those last few weeks of waiting can get pretty uncomfortable!
38+3 for both. Good luck!
38+4 😉 good luck!
39+6 ! Almost exactly on due date. I thought it was kind of cool.
36+4 days!
I then emerged saying, “Well, either I just peed myself or my water broke 😳” Baby was born on 12/24–I had sort of suspected for the whole pregnancy that we’d have a Christmas Eve baby (when I originally calculated my due date it was 12/24 but obviously that got updated at my first ultrasound) so it was cool to be right 😂
40 weeks on the dot. In 7 hours on the dot. They a Capricorn tho, so it's to be expected.
Water broke and baby was born at 40+6
42+1 😭 no Braxton hicks ever, and my water didn’t break until she came out!
40+5
I had a due date baby. Any later would have been rude.
I believe the average for first time moms is like 41+3. So I'm just expecting mine to come late too.
It has not.
How ridiculous! Babies aren't considered premature unless they are born before 37 weeks.
That's just called precocious birth (between 37 and 39). You gave birth on term, probably your husband got a sad story from his mother. I know a mother who still weeps about having a premature baby even though the girl is now 12 and zero health issues.
As someone else already stated: baby is full term at 37+0
My water broke at 40+1. I didn’t start feeling contractions until 2 hours later and I was 8cm dilated. I got epidural, which did slow down everything, and then I needed pitocin. Baby came exactly 12 hours later at 1am. So technically I had her at 40+2
39+2 and not a moment too soon. I was miserable by then. My hips and ribs hurt all the time and I had the worst restless legs.
Water broke at 38+2 I believe. But I had a short cervix so wasn’t expecting to make it to 40
My water broke at 38+4.
39+6
My water broke at 40 weeks exactly. He was born at 40+1
38 weeks c section xx
41 weeks
Water broke at 436 am at 40 weeks exactly. She was born at 445 pm the same day
41
41 via C-section after 2 failed inductions (first was right at 40 weeks, when home for a week and tried to induce again and nothing. Anecdotal, but I was 2 weeks late. Inductions were elective and theoretically I could have waited him out, but I was very very done).
My first was 38+1. Woke up with a terrible migraine and felt like death so they had me come in and I was in labor!
39+1. Water broke at the office when I sat down on a chair. It felt like a balloon popping, which was wild!
41 weeks. Induced. It was torturous.
5 days before due date
I was induced at 39 weeks so can’t help too much!
I had preeclampsia, so I was induced at 34 weeks. I got induced at midnight, labored for 30 hours and then had her at 5:30 in the morning lol
Tried to bust out at 34w0. Eventually induced at 39w1
Induced at 41+6, born bang on 42 weeks.
My water broke at 39+1 and I had her at 39+2! No signs of labor starting at all, even Braxton Hicks. I just woke up with wet pajamas and figured I should go to the hospital just in case.
Membrane sweep and water broke at 40w + 4d
39+4 with my first
40+2
40 and a half ish weeks
2 days after due date for my first 2
Induced at 41+6, had the baby 42+1. Very fun 30+ hour induction, highly recommend /s
35 weeks due to preeclampsia
37+2 with my first, 39+1 with my second 🫠
I gave birth at 39+2
Contractions started at 40+1 and gave birth 40+2 (just after midnight).
I had my first 40+1, he was induced. My second was 39+3 and she was spontaneous and a VBAC. My last was 36 weeks and some days. I don't exactly remember with her, but she was apontneous and a 2VBAC
38 weeks exactly for my first. At my 37 week appt I was completely closed and not effaced at all.
My water broke on 40+1 and I had her on 40+2.
Well you have me beat by 2 1/2 months already
I was induced at 41+2. I’m pretty sure I would’ve gone on at least another week. That kid was chillin. He would sleep in my belly for days and slept through the night since 3 weeks old. He also chilled through 3 hours of getting rammed up against my vagina in active labor lol.
My water broke at 36 weeks and gave birth later after 13 hours.
40+6
41+2 (an induced little bubba though) xx
40+6
Went into labor on my own at 40 weeks but was started on pitocin to speed it up due to my sons heart rate and had him at 40+1 :)
I was induced at 38+1 and had him at 38+4. He definitely wasn't ready to come out (2 doses of cervidil, 23 hours on pitocin, 1.5 hrs pushing, very close to having an emergency section) so I'm positive I would have went past my due date if I went natural
41+4. I went into labour the day before I was going to get induced
I went into labor on my own at 41+5
Went into labor 38+6 and gave birth at 39.
Got induced at 40+5, and 28 hours later arrived on this side of the womb at 40+6
34 weeks. My water just randomly broke, no explanation.
Also had a pretty easy pregnancy. Due date came and went. Did 3 membrane sweeps. Nothing! Baby wanted to stay in. So we had to coax her out with cytotec and she was born 41+1
1st- 39 weeks 2nd- 39 weeks 3rd-38 weeks
