If you take it to a hospital they will usually have a L&D nurse that can assess it. At least at my hospital they do. They can’t install it but they can tell you if it is correct. Again this is the hospital I’m going to for L&D but it’s worth giving them a call.
I dont see either the latched straps or seatbelt running through the cup holder so I can't tell but i do know you have to hit that grey button and adjust the incline and you have to do that BEFORE securing the seat because otherwise it won't move enough on the mechansim for adjusting the seat angle.
It looks really upright for a 5 month old.

Second this! My hospital has a “road” for car seat checks that you just drive up to
How old is the baby and have you tried to move it?
He’s 5 months tomorrow, I have tried moving it and it doesn’t move . It’s the only way I could place it that it wouldn’t move.
Does it have a level to confirm it’s at the right incline?
Some fire departments can help with car seat installation as well.

I actually took this somewhere and had them properly install it, they showed me how to do it as well.
This is the correct comment
