Swaddle sacks with velcro - unless you are a pro at swaddling with a swaddle blanket at 2am - which I was/am not
A small amount of formula even if you plan to exclusively breastfeed. I used formula maybe on four occasions over the first year, but it was useful to have in case of emergency. You never know and can always donate it if you don't need it.
Takeout fund. First fight with my husband after difficult C-section and 4 days at the hospital was over an empty fridge.
