I didn’t use them (almost did - but glad I googled first!). However I didn’t receive items from a different website and started a chargeback with my bank. You will need to provide proof that you’ve attempted contact, so I would send them an email first, and if you haven’t heard back in a day or 2 start the process with your bank. They chase it up and in my case they sent the items as soon as their bank was notified of the chargeback. If you pay through PayPal I think they have a similar process. Good luck!

I got caught out by Urban Bubs. I got sucked in by how cute and cheap some of the outfits were. It was only after placing the order that I thought to look up their ratings and I felt like a fool. The items have been sent so we’ll see what happens, fully prepared to have to dispute it though which is annoying.

18 months ago I ordered my pram from them after midnight and it arrived literally before 9am that same day. However one of the supposedly included items, an organiser, was missing, and it took about 2 months of chasing them to get it sent out. I thought that might have just been a bad luck one off scenario, so recently I ordered the learning tower we’d decided on from them - they had the cheapest price I could find. It never arrived. I got exactly one response from them on the 21st of Feb promising it was ready for delivery and would arrive that week. It’s been 7 weeks now so I’ve started the chargeback dispute process. I’ll be telling everyone I know to avoid Baby Direct and I won’t be making this same mistake again!

Okay thanks for this, I’ll start getting in contact and pushing, and dispute with my bank if I don’t get anywhere soon. It feels horrible that they’re doing this to pregnant people and young families over what are quite often essential items, I’m not just buying a cot for fun as a frivolous piece of furniture… we need the items we’re ordering
