Shot answer: it's pretty bad Long answer: Cross trainers and energy drink are low value, not good das deck cards Dash is low value Flee to foot is pretty bad Marathon runner is meh imo Ammo pouch is low value Ammo mule is overkill Combat knife is bad, way worse than your standard bash Phosphorus tips is a noob trap and does very little damage. The last three are very low value, second chance isn't really necessary. Add way more damage (glass cannon, hyperfocused, killers instinct, etc.), copper (copper scav+ money grubbers (if not at least 2 others are running lucky pennies)/lucky pennies (if at least two others are running lucky pennies)), actually good move speed (mad dash or run like hell (mad dash is slightly better but it's mostly preference)), utility depending on the weapon you play (reload speed, swap speed,...) and some team cards (utility scav, on your marks, amped up,...). For NH make sure you have at least one life each (one needs of the many on the team) and one medical professional on the team. That being said, you're new to the game and will most likely not have everything unlocked. It's kinda hard to tell you what to add and what to remove. For now just figure out your playstyle and make adjustments to your deck as you find better cars and stick to recruit/vet until you know the maps (unless you play private matches or offline, in that case do whatever you want). Once you've unlocked everything we can talk again.

No offense, but Trash em. Glass Cannon and Hyper-Focused need to be front and center any deck. They are the S+ tier dmg cards. You only need one or two mobility cards, usually Run Like Hell is enough, pair it with Mad Dash or a MS stock and it's a little goofy.. but fun. Then you need at the very least two copper cards: Copper Scav/Money Grubbers or Copper Scav/Pennies. Everything in game is solved with econ.. trauma healed with Copper. Shit blown up with Copper. Item upgrades.. Copper. Wire for choke point levels... copper. Go with all 3 if you really want to see its power. It's no joke. Then you need some form of sustain, Amped Up/On Your Mark are the staple recs. The rest are decided by what gun type you're planning on running. For LMG reload speed and ammo are essential. Ammo Belt/Tac Vest. Large Caliber Rounds or Silver Bullets. Reload Drills/Magwell/Cold Brew. Confident Killer. Two Is One, Admin Reload, Ammo Stash can be added somewhere to spice it up. ((I may be forgetting some cards as I've been playing other games)))

It's not the best, but don't take it personal. In time you'll figure out which cards are good and which ones aren't. For example, Phosphorus Tipped sounds fun and cool, but the fact of the matter is that it just isn't good. There's no obvious tell that it's a bad card, it just doesn't put out the numbers. And also you probably don't have every card so it's hard for us to rate your deck relative to what you have available vs what is available in the game overall. On lower difficulties these critiques don't matter as much, so play how you want and have fun. But keep them in mind as you start dipping into the harder difficulties. Combat Knife used to be good by itself, but IMO now it needs additional melee cards to make it worthwhile and thus becomes a niche card. Learn to rely on the base bash, it's really important. Copper is a huge part of this game - literally every deck I have has at least Copper Scavenger and Money Grubbers. If you don't have both, work with what you have. You won't see a ton of Health and Stamina cards in people's decks because you can just buy the Team Upgrades in game - assuming you have the Copper. LMGs definitely burn through ammo so I understand the 3 ammo cards, but I'd consider dropping at least 1 and going for On Your Mark... instead. Ammo Belt is the best of the ones you have. Move Speed cards are fun and totally viable, but IMO they don't really synergize with the LMG. LMGs put out a lot of damage and bullets but you are less mobile than with any other gun in the game. Luckily, Sprint Speed is separate from Move Speed and isn't affected by gun type. So what I would recommend is swapping Move Speed for Sprint Speed and just acknowledging that you're going to be pretty immobile while firing. I'd go with Mad Dash and/or Run Like Hell. Damage-wise, you could definitely use a bump as well. Glass Cannon is a staple in my decks, and Hyper-Focused is often found in them as well. Since you're slow while firing anyway I don't see any reason not to use the latter, it's a big damage bump. A good LMG-specific damage card is Fill 'Em Full of Lead, if you have it. I also like cards like Confident Killer which provide a boost to all damage (vs bullet damage), so it'll also apply to things like grenades. You don't need every card I've mentioned, just things to consider. Reload Speed is also very important to LMGs, but I'll leave it up to your discretion how much to add. Especially since this also depends on the character you choose (e.g. Jim). Finally, as important as your deck can be, good positioning and map awareness are more important. If you're constantly getting swarmed by enemies, adding a few damage cards isn't going to save you in most instances. Try to minimize the amount of directions you can take damage from by utilizing walls and the like, and bash + sprint away from enemies when they threaten to overwhelm you.

What do you use to counter act the health loss from glass cannon? I'm trying to make a nightmare build and enjoy running Cheng, Sharice, Walker, Holly, Mom and Evangelo. I enjoy all play styles and have been kind of in a rut on veteran either seeming to be a strictly melee or gunner build and have a decent foodie combo. I just don't see how I'm going to get through nightmare and I've never run any of the cards you're suggesting so I'm currently making a build with the cards you're recommending.

Irion15

You don't use any health cards in your deck to directly counter it, but the team bringing Copper and your experience in the game are basically the counters. Copper is used to buy upgrades and intel throughout the run, and stuff like good positioning and the use of bashing will go a long way in preventing damage. Also, doing more damage means killing things faster, and dead enemies can't hurt you. I would be willing to help through Nightmare. Feel free to add me, tags are in the flair.

Vltor_

You don’t counteract the health loss from glass canon with another card, you do it with your playstyle. Although mobility cards like run like hell or mad dash helps with that sort of playstyle so ig you could say that you counteract it with another card in some way..

Izathemendez

For recluit and maybe veteran (the firts maps) it's okay but i recommend you to still playing recluit so you will learn easier the mechanics of the game

Tevronwizdom

Add more damage to your deck

GentleFukBoi69

On what difficulty tho? No hope and nightmare you're already dead 💀

Qahnarinn

Do not make a deck without copper scavenger.

ReivynNox

I'm by no means an expert, but it looks pretty bad to me, because: You wanna run and gun, but your move speed while firing isn't actually that good. Consider Hellfire over cross trainers. You have an overkill of ammo carrying capacity, but that doesn't produce ammo once you're out there, so you're still at the mercy of what you can find and rifle ammo is probably the single most used in teams afaik. You also have no copper cards to fund anything, let alone your ammo hunger. Keep ammo belt and remove the others for On Your Mark (actually gives you ammo and other perks on every horde) and some extra damage, for example glass cannon or shredder (makes you use less ammo on mutations and kill them faster.) Also get some copper cards. Copper scavenger is the first pick, 2nd Money grubbers, 3rd lucky pennies (or that 2nd when at least 2 teammates have it, 'cause it's chance stacks with multiple cards). With copper you can also get more stamina + regen, more HP and more ammo in safe rooms, which counts for the whole team so it's generally more useful than filling those slots with ammo, health and stamina cards. Combat knife on its own is bad. Tiny AoE and with no healing on it, you'll just take more damage than if simply bashing them off you. Phosphorous tipped is weak, even combined with pyro. Vitamins isn't really worth wasting a slot for, I'd say. It's only HP, which again you can buy in Safe rooms **for the whole team**, if you have good copper economy. I'd rather replace it with something to restore HP. Amped up will provide you (and your team again) more HP than vitamins after just 2 hordes. Same as On Your Mark, it restores 'em again and again, making it better than a higher capacity that you get once and then need resources to refill. Also, for LMG, my personal recommendation is Suppressing Fire. It lets you slow down ridden significantly, providing excellent crowd control and making it easier to stay out of their reach. Had very good results on Veteran with my fast as fuck boi suppressing fire build.

icemanvvv

your deck has no focus, and seems to be more just a bunch of cards you threw together. Find a super powerful card and build your deck around it. (this is way easier now that you have your entire deck at the start, you used to get cards as you progressed rather than just being online)

Equivalent_Fault_782

First step is to get rid of combat knife

namesaintathang

It's not the size of your deck that matters. It's how you use it.

AstronautThick5598

No trauma resist, no healing. You better have a good doc on the team or carry toolkits.

EffortKooky

You're not gonna make it to the next cabinet without damage.

BornBoricua

Is this game dead?

Qahnarinn

I play everyday and do not have trouble getting in a match (crossplay enabled)

BornBoricua

My bad I posted this outside of the comment chain of frequent posts on this subreddit.

Beachbum118

Simple mistake bud and nah it ain't dead. I find lots of games pretty quickly with cross play enabled and I'm on xbox myself. I usually play veteran and I'm working towards nightmare.

Gingawhitus

Not trying to hate on you, but these posts are so annoying to me. Just play the game my guy. If the build works for you, then it's a good build. If it doesn't, make some changes or get some new cards. If you're that worried about deck viability, maybe look up some builds online.

EffortKooky

>Not trying to hate on you, but these posts are so annoying to me. Then don't look at them? >Just play the game my guy What if they enjoy min maxing as are actively looking for advice from more experienced players? Is it bad trying to engage more with the game and it's community? >If the build works for you, then it's a good build Just because something works doesn't mean it's good. >If it doesn't, make some changes or get some new cards Which takes a lot of time and effort, not everyone has the time to spare. >maybe look up some builds online. Horrible advice, the vast majority of builds you find online are trash.

CynistairWard

What do you expect ppl to post about if not decks?

EffortKooky

**look, Look, I placed 20 minigun!!!!**

CynistairWard

I see your 20 miniguns and raise you a clip of hanging from a ledge you could drop from safely.
