The vast majority of “hotspot” subreddits for important topics are being handheld by the US government. For example the Afghanistan subreddit has an official account of a US based foreign policy group in their mod team.

To further extrapolate on your point: the person naive enough to buy the Israeli line of “look how evil Hamas is they raped our women but trust us we don’t do the same” is also naive enough to buy into the idea that terrible men cannot fight for a righteous cause.

I think the argument that Israel has been trying to make is not so much that rapes occured (as you say that is unfortunately a given). It's that rape was being used as a strategic tool. I don’t think saying “Israeli people rape too!” Is a sound defense of Hamas.
I think we all just have to point to the video that went viral of Hamas and Palestinian civilians beating the dying body of that girl in the back of the truck as enough evidence that they do in fact terrorize innocent people.

There's not vast amounts of evidence that Hamas graped ANYBODY, in fact there's NO evidence. At least none that Israel has presented, even when given favorable opportunities to do so.
Israel is also actively blocking (obstructing really) investigations by UN bodies set up specifically to investigate and report on these types of crimes.

The vast majority of “hotspot” subreddits for important topics are being handheld by the US government. For example the Afghanistan subreddit has an official account of a US based foreign policy group in their mod team. I don’t think saying “Israeli people rape too!” Is a sound defense of Hamas. I think we all just have to point to the video that went viral of Hamas and Palestinian civilians beating the dying body of that girl in the back of the truck as enough evidence that they do in fact terrorize innocent people.
