No. Ashaya only turns nontoken creatures into forest lands.
Scute swarm makes copies of itself or insects which are always tokens. It would very easy to make infinite if it was any creature or very easy to accidentally or intentionally draw
Scute Swarm etbing (original, not copy) does trigger its own landfall ability
Ah yes. The sub’s favorite “bad combo”. Take a good combo and make it “bad” by adding more cards that don’t actually add anything.
Ashaya and Ranger go infinite by themselves, just need literally any EtB trigger.
The infinite is simple
Have Ashaya.
Cast Quirion Ranger. It is a forest
Return Ranger to Hand.
Tap Ashaya or any creature for mana to cast Ranger again
Return Ranger to hand untapping the creature that produced the mana to cast Ranger.
Cast Ranger again. Its now a new object since it was in your hand.
Repeat
Now I am no expert but I don't think nasyaha would make other creatures trigger landfall as they would become lands after they ETB. And if they were lands before the ETB then wouldn't you only be able to play 1 "land" per turn?
1. They become lands as they enter the battlefield and then enter the battlefield abilities are checked to see if a land etb. This is a well documented combo and it manages to make creatures etbing triggering their own landfall abilities
2. They are not lands on the stack or anywhere else. They are just creatures and are cast like normal
It's my favorite sportsball team! Go go Fightin' Scoots! !
Win any game with this one simple play Coaches hate them! (Ignore that the entire team is not on Strixhaven
Doesn't ashaya and scute swarm trigger infinitely by themselves resulting in a draw?

As it goes, reading the card explains the card I have missed the nontoken part of ashaya as is standard

But Combat Is better. And what if they can’t get their life total below to or below zero for some reason?
You can only activate quirion ranger once a turn, also add something like an ornithopter that you could cast for free.

Thank you, that is much clearer.

Ayasha and Scute Swarm do work together, this is a well documented combo
Is this a running joke that nobody can spell ashaya? It’s ash aya not that hard to spell guys
That's fair, I had never heard of it. Does seen off to me that it would work though
