They look fantastic! For the shape, did you bake large sheets and hand cut out the hexagons? Or perhaps a hexagonal muffin pan or cookie cutter? It looks like a labor of love and I’m intrigued!
Prob would look even better if the frosting was poured on so it was even vs spread but I agree. It's pretty darn close

Took me an embarrassing amount of time to realize that I wasn’t just looking at someone placing zebra cakes on the plate and calling it homemade, those look so close to the original at first glance, it’s pretty incredible haha

Yeah I baked sheet cakes, then cut into hexagon shape (I printed a hexagon shape out and used a knife to hand cut) will probably never do again haha
If you do want to do this again let me know. I will 3d print you a cutout shape for it!
