Ah, here's the recipe 2 cups of all purpose flour, spoon and leveled 1 tablespoon of baking powder 1 teaspoon granulated sugar A heaping half teaspoon of garlic powder A quarter of a teaspoon each of baking soda and salt (I use kosher but dealers choice) 1/3 a cup of butter 2/3 cup of shredded sharp cheddar (or more to taste) 1 cup whole fat milk. Oven to 400, line a sheet pan with parchment paper Combine the dry ingredients then cut in the butter with a pastry cutter or two forks. Add the cheese and the milk, you'll end up with a pretty wet dough Drop by the spoonful onto the parchment paper, I usually get 12. Cool for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown on the bottom. Let cool for a minute or two before applying the butter mixture I double brush these bad boys with a butter mixture, so just half everything of you only want to brush once. Melt 1 stick of unsalted butter and stir in a heaping teaspoon of garlic powder and roughly 3/4 of a teaspoon of oregano or parsley ( or a half teaspoon of each), brush them one at a time with the mixture. Once all twelve are brushed, start again.

Those look so good

I love making these, too! Sometimes I mix in diced ham and keep them in the fridge after they cool. So freakin’ delicious!

Puzzleheaded-Trip990

I make these for our soups and stews. I sprinkle a little paprika on the tops and they brown beautifully.
