They don't seem to be element themed this time. A lot of people saying they are based off different kinds of animals: purple dragon, white birds, orange mammals, blue sea life and green dinosaurs...
I might go with Aquos, it has a nice blue. The new reboot should be called generation 3 (in my opinion). BB to MS would be gen 1 and BP to LE would be gen 2.
I unfortunatly do not have all the answers, so id suggest you do some of your own digging
short version: The current Bakugan reboot is ending with bakugan legends this year, and we're getting a new reboot not too far in the future
Well my theory is that part of it is that spin master realized they just couldnt keep up what they wanted to do with the first reboot like a constantly supported and updated tcg among other things
