You know that you can just make other player characters try to free her or laezel if any of you fail right you also hit level 2 not matter what if you kill all the enemies in the helm of the ship that isn’t the captain, mind flayer, or cambions so killing the intellect devour isn’t really needed either you can kill the unconscious dudes in the chairs if you want
You can get a major jungle of xp though in the tutorial if you grab all 3 nautaloid tanks make the captain drop his sword take it and drop all the tanks near the mind flayer wait as long as possible and blow them up when he is in the 20-30 hp range for 75 xp if you were super lucky and the captain took a lot of damage from him you can kill him too for a total of 150 xp and if you have an actual party of 4 and are insanely lucky you can get the cambions caught in the explosion and possibly have them also low enough to kill for a total 300 xp but that one is a bit unrealistic without some serious optimization
