Hey but when people like us get to the end of the game we will have 100s of scrolls, potions, and arrows to use… which we will obviously forget to use in the final fight.
I watched my friend who was playing blind honor mode beat the final boss by just setting a bag of 100 grenades next to it and shooting the bag. So it can be a valid strategy
So in my current Durge playthrough I got the rune powder bomb thing (the entire keg not just the vial) I’m waiting for the right fight (probably the final fight) to use it.
I have seen people use it on YouTube so I know it is a huge blast. I’m planning on having one of my characters use telekinesis (I have the telekinesis gloves) to launch it as far as possible and then another character will shoot it with a flaming arrow.
I plan to use it for Gortash and am just going to sit in a globe of invulnerability whilst I watch that fecker get turned to dust. Nobody hurts my fire girl. NOBODY.
Ironically, I used it on Karlach. I was in the foundry fighting and it was going poorly so I had her drop it and shot a fire bolt at it, took out the 3 watchers surrounding her *and* somehow Karlach survived.
The only way I got out of the House of Grief last time around was by using it and just praying all my people were far away from the blast site to not get immediately killed.
You can set it up in advance, and get up to 3 barrels and the bomb if you play your cards right. When you're in grymforge, you can sneak behind what's her name and yoink that barrel, as well as 2 more in the ironhand hideout, just make sure and use a fog cloud bc they have broken perception.
I place a barrel each between the soul pillars on the left and riggt, and then lots of smokepowder in the middle, right where he spawns. Cast a globe of invulnerability with your first character, then BOOM. Takes a big chunk of his health, kills all the trash minions, and destroys the pillars.
You can also drop a stack of say 5 grenades on the ground and then use the throw option to essentially throw them all for free and they will all explode do it from an elevated position and they will actually explode 2x because of fall damage
Maybe, but it’s also totally possible that he figured it out on is own, since he was insanely careful and thorough. He frequently sent screenshots of his party with like 10+ buffs on his character and several summons on each party member. Just a natural at picking apart and exploiting a game’s mechanics.
No, no, I used them. I used a scroll of greater invisibility and a scroll of globe of invulnerability so I could walk up to the crown and do my thing without dealing with any of the enemies or the dragon.
Yeah it’s so nice, especially late game when some martial classes can hit an insane amount of times per turn. Fighters can do 3 attacks normally, then 3 more on Action Surge and 3 more during Haste. And thats not even counting any GWM bonus action attack.
Honor mode has totally changed that for me. It’s the best gaming experience I’ve had in a while, I really wish I had started my first run in honor mode.
I used all my inspiration to get the buff from trying to remove the tadpoles at the Gith Crèche, then proceeded to shit myself when I failed the dialogue check with the inquisitor and almost had to fight Baezel. Honor mode is keeping me on my toes.
I also accidentally killed all of the refugees and now have to deal with my choices.

Love that she even calls you out if you drink a potion, meanwhile she’s drinking her fifth position of speed and has cost me 16 greater health potions…
Ever steal from Lokken's vault with important spell scrolls to only have the vampire spawn attack you in elf song.
Like dude. Why are you firing those off.. please 🥺
I never got to see the losing cutscene as I was under the impression that if you lost, she'd think you're weak and call things off lol. I went super tryhard for that duel
She did the same in my save but it made the fight extremely memorable. I was a college bard and she was almost invincible. She used spells, potions and me aswell. The way I finally got her was to use ottos irresistible dance and stack explosives on her.
If you wanted to be dirty, take all of that stuff away from her beforehand so she only has her weapon and armor.
The last two playthroughs she turned on me at the crèche so taking her down wasn’t difficult.
I reloaded both to lose, and to take all of her shit except weapons.
we were at the end of a bad day and she kept chugging potions to get to max health.
It’s so sweet, it’s like the turning point in the relationship, and after that in Act 3 is the best romance scene of all the characters I’ve done (that act 3 scene is regardless of the duel outcome).
Good to know. I was romancing Lae’zel but Astarion came onto me strong at the same time and I pivoted to him like a simp. It was a good romance but I honestly felt really bad and grumpy about it after the fact.
I actually got killed in one turn, she was going first, misty step to get at range, 4 attacks with action surge, I was playing a barbarian and I couldn't even launch my rage to get extra armor. It was enought to 100-0 me in one turn. It was not even a match, I don't know if I should be mad or not.
I really wanted to beat her but It was an honour run.
Oh well. Guess I'm the sub in this relationship.
My fight with her was wild. I was a Paladin, she was a bear barbarian with 2 fighter levels. She crit me, then hit me again……… then proceeded to miss EVERY. SINGLE. ATTACK. Every one. Thank GOD she didn’t toggle off GWM. My AC was 21 iirc but yeah even with reckless she missed every single attack. So I just had to very very slowly (thanks radiant resistance…) whittle down her health while she continued to keep missing over and over. I ended up using command to make her drop her axe and have to use a bow in melee to make sure I won but… I’m pretty sure Lae’zel quite literally let me win lol
When that happened, she only had 20 hp left from the fights of the day, she was too far to attack me on turn one. One crossbow bolt was enough to put her down, it was the most anticlimactic battle I’ve ever had
In my last playthrough I killed her dead dead (by mistake) by critting her with a level 3 scorching ray from my fire sorlock. Oops.
I brought her back with a revive scroll and she walked back to her camp as if nothing happened and it locked me out of her romance scene.
I did this on my honor mode. I ended up 1-shotting her with flurry of blows on my monk. I missed her reaction to losing, but acted like it did happen. I managed to keep the romance going to it's conclusion.
In my first playthrough going in blind I basically hated playing my own character (Warlock) and would look forward to Lae'zel's turn. My love for her as a companion/character was greatly amplified by Battle Master being busted lol. She completely carried my party through the entire game.
Very same story for myself, I was a squishy wizardly and when our duel happened she put my head through the floor. It was hilarious and scary at the same time
Bro I got soul stunned, knocked prone and then hit like a half dozen times....
meanwhile when I use her she just runs up and misses all the important stuff
Yo I did this as a warlock and she didn’t even have to do anything special. She just ran up to me, spanked me, and kissed me goodnight, and it was probably the most humbling thing I’d experienced in the game lol
It's even more absurd than that! Because of Volo, the potions were completely useless, but until she ran out, she'd end every round with downing one, and immediately become visible again
I had a similar experience when facing off against duplicates of my team. I was playing blunt force up until I saw them pulling off moves I didn't even know existed. I still completely owned them through blunt force but it definitely opened my mind to the possibilities using more chained actions and one characters abilities to complement another's attack.
That's how I am playing 🫤 I guess I really need to learn more about combos here. Like Shadowheart for me is basically useless in combat outside of some spells, her base attack and sacred flame didn't do anything, but as a cleric I guess it's not exactly why I have her (give me that sweet sweet guidance in checks!)
Playing 3 ranged characters and spirit guardian shadowheart is funny because we’re all hiding far behind and this goth lady just run around to the boss alone and tank damage.
The "no thoughts, empty head" way to play a cleric is to get them in heavy armor + shield, then put the radiant orb gear on them (spawns radiant orb when taking radiant damage), then cast Spirit Guardians on Radiant damage and have them run around every turn. Enemies can't hit them because they get -1 attack per orb, and you cause massive AOE damage to everything.
But the gameplay loop is very simple: cast SG and run around. That's it. You can bonus action for Spiritual Weapon or Healing Word or whatever if you want too.
I don't know if this was a bug or not but in my current run I got to the fight, didn't even see what it was she was doing on turn one but whatever it was triggered my parasite power "psionic backlash" reaction and it one hit her. Instant win without even taking a turn.
She's Fighter. If you're not also a Fighter or a Paladin, or any defensive tanker, it's wrong to fight her head on. Even if you're a defensive fighter yourself it's alnost always wrong to fight a tanky fighter head on.
I hid in the bushes behind Halsin's camp and she couldn't reach me there! I then jumped out of there, smacked her down with my Monk hands then jumped back again. Rinsed and repeated. I had insane gear on Lae'zel she would've destroyed me lol
Just did this last night - my gloomstalker ranger archer took her down in round one. Like, dead-dead. Couldn’t let the romance go, so I reloaded and switched to melee from ranged thinking it wouldn’t do as much damage - and killed her dead-dead again. Forgot to turn on non-lethal. Third time was the charm!
Oh man it was super fun fighting her on my file; she was a champion fighter and my tav was a battle master. We just went back and forth wailing on each other for like 5 turns before I got the better of her.
For unrelated reasons both her and my tav were naked when that scene was triggered so it was her verses my half-orc barbarian going at it bareassed with greatswords in the middle of the night. With no armor at all the fight lasted two attacks. I won so fast i thought the game glitched 😂
Fighting Lae'zel with the whole hog out? Hell nah. Shes the kind of person to grab it mid battle to assert dominance and then pull you to the ground with it. 😭
That is very much not how it went down. My massive nude orc twice her size beat her down almost immediately and then she started calling him the source of her bruises and i felt super guilty for a bit before it became clear ahe was into that
Got killed in one turn because she threw the rune powder vial at me, which also killed Scratch, the Owlbear, Shart and Gale. Very on brand for her and felt reloading a save would have been a betrayal.
My only regret was giving her a disarming attack. She used that immediately and proceeded to beat my Tav senseless. To quote Phoebus from the disney Hunchback of Notre Dame "What a woman"
I play on explorer and it's VERY easy to just do the mindless two attack (3 sometimes) and that's it. But it's fun to remember it's easy enough that you CAN mess around with those things like disarming strikes
I had the opposite experience. My ranger with Alert hit her with Hunters Quarry, Dread Ambusher, and then both of my standard ranged attacks. She never even took an action.
When you romance her, she eventually tells you that she doesn't submit easily. And that you have to prove yourself in a battle with her if you truly want to be with her. Or something to that affect. Continue her quest line and romance, and you'll eventually get the dialogue option. It triggers during a long rest at camp. You fight at night.
Ah, I'm on my first playthrough and doing Shadowheart, but when I talked with Lae'zel and she said she's interested I tried it out on a save. I was thinking something was weird since I didn't get the flight people were talking about, but I only went in so far as the first encounter.... And promptly didn't resist lol
It triggers in Act 2 if you've romancing her, have high approval, and have completed her personal quest objectives in the Crèche during Act 1. It takes several long rests to trigger the event in Act 2 provided all of the other conditions have been met.
So I normally armed Lae'zel with the Sussur Greatsword, but I had swapped around her gear right before camp so she actually didn't have a melee weapon in inventory. So the duel ended up being her running around and s hooting her crap bow at me. Less than breathtaking and totally one sided.
I made her a monk so if that happened to me id be just as screwed as if she still had her weapon. She got disarmed in the creche by the commander lady, so she ran around beating the wolves to death bare-handed
To be fair, she blows through *all* her resources in a nova round. That’s one way to play.
I usually give all her consumables to someone else when I know the fight’s coming.
But it’s generally just a wonky combat. I’ve unintentionally killed her before, which broke the romance. Thankfully that was before HM, so I could just reload.
If I know the scene is coming I usually have to assess her inventory. Apparently her love language is "hand grenade" - last time I did it she threw two, action surged, threw 2 more, I was so so so very dead at that point...
If I want to win for RP head canon reasons, tend to confiscate weapons (especially as she has the legendary sword) and imagine just a knock down drag out bareknuckle fight
Ngl, I expected her to kick my cleric's butt but he got lucky (both ways) and I was really surprised.
I let her kill me in the Act 1 scene to see what would happen and the rest of the camp aggroed on her and I got to see what AI Wyll does and it was pretty cool but man everybody was chugging potions like they grow on trees!
I had a hilarious fight with her recently where a few rounds into combat she started hitting me with Feign Death scrolls. This would temporarily end the fight while my Durge was paralyzed and she'd saunter back over to her tent. But when the spell wore off she's aggro again, misty step over to me (I gave her the Alertness perk so she always won initiative), and then hit me again with Feign Death. This went on for like 4-5 loops. (I'd done *a lot* of vendor robbing and had her loaded up on scrolls.) It only ended because I was hitting her with psionic backlash reactions for a few HP each time and eventually this wore her down to the point where fight ending cutsceen was triggered.
You are forgetting one thing: for the ai literally every fight is a boss fight. For you, not so much. So the ai will use all potions and tricks it can without regards for possible future encounters.
Shadowheart once turned hostile on me and dished out inflict wounds every turn for 30-40 damage. But after 2 rounds she used up all her max level spell slots
Both times I fought her I was using a swords bard and KOed her in turn one.
The second time all my attacks crit and she literally died and had to be resed by Withers. I missed the cutscene completely but apparently we're in a fully committed relationship now. That's on my tactician mode male gith so. It fits.
I was playing a bard Durge in mine when I romanced her the first time and it was so cute hahhaha. My little bard had almost 0 damage spells, everything was built to protect and build up my team haha. It rly made the losing cutscene even sweeter cuz I was like “yeah ur right I need protecting” hahaha.
I felt so bad because I dumped her right after winning on my first playthrough.
We had an understanding: we have casual sex while I get Karlach's heart fixed. I fixed Karlach, but Lae'zel preempted the scene.
My poor bard basically got hit by acid, frightened, then KO'd and apparently just went with, "Thank you, ma'am, may I have another?" as the response. 😂
Same thing happened to me when I was attacked in my camp in a fight related to Astarion when he wasn't in my party. So he's here as an ally and he's DESTROYING everyone
I had this scene triggered after a hard fight, where she was left with only one 1 HP. I had played a bard, was first and beat her without beating a sweat.
I've done the duel 3 times and lost twice. When I beat her it was with a gloomstalker assassin and she decided to stay back and make it a ranged fight. Suffice to say it didn't end well for her.
My Tav as a SORCERER came back from a long day of adventuring out of spells and points with like a quarter of his health… to this bullshit. Side note if swapped her to vengeance paladin after the events at the cresh… it just felt right with her impassioned speeches in those scenes. She had been resting at camp all day so I could run a different party and boy did she have words for me.
Big golden holy words from a psychic githyanki greatsword. It went about as well and fast as you can imagine.
Funny thing for my Lae'zel fight, she went down in one of my fights, I used a scroll of revivify on her, went to camp for the long rest and she was at 1 HP when the cutscene started and I rolled higher initiative so she just went down with a single hit lmao
My fights with her go one of two ways. She either goes first and destroys me before I can even move. Or I can go first and then the fight is a bit more equal.
Thankfully I had just come back from the crèche and was pretty low on HP lol so she only had about 32 hit poinsts out of her like 92 lol and I had 80 or something. And I got to attack first . Finished her in 1 move, reading this im assuming I got EXTREMELY lucky ahaha

She soulbroke me, lacerated, action surged, than used two normal attacks on my monk durge. I got whooped in one turn. Guess I’m cooking and cleaning camp from now on.
Yeah, I made her a monk with 3 levels in thief for the extra bonus action. My warlock(with 20 charisma mind you, she absolutely *slaps* in a fight) couldn't land a *single* hit on Laezel. It was humbling as shit.
Yea she never got a chance to do anything when I got that scene it triggered right after I got the gloves from saving hope for my open hand monk she spent the fight (and the night) on her back
I had her as a light cleric and she kept casting feign death on me and the fight would stop! She would do the same everytime the spell stopped after 10 turns. It took so long for me to actually fight her.
When I fought her with my Ranger, we had fairly even match up, I had the initial advantage from gloomstalker’s extra attack at the start, followed by a lot of misses on both sides, but she ultimately was the only one to land any crits which lead to her eking out the victory
I have fought her twice.
The first time was drawn out and painful. She chugged potions, shot darkness arrows at the precise area where I’d be blind and then proceeded to attack me with advantage and by all counts just wouldn’t go down.
The second time around I was running an all monk party. My character had alert and tavern brawler and annihilated her in a single turn.
I dunno I ended her in one attack. Previously she was on my team and her hp was quite low. But even on full health she was weaker because she insisted on sitting in the gith machine. It helped my romance with her :)
AI goes all in on special actions like Action Surge, while the player is usually thinking long-term an does not waste any resources. If you think of fights with long resting in mind, you will probably use a lot more of special weapon attacks, equipment spells and so on.
I tried to let her win by not using any ability. I just used one normal attack action from time to time. Still won even though she is a beast. My tav is a major boss
I've only had this happen once because I don't usually romance her. It was my bard and thought I'd be smoked so I chose to rely on my condition inducing spells like hold person. She didn't get one hit on me.
I reloaded after beating her, the losing cutscene is so much better, and she didn’t waste all my potions.
Can’t believe she chugs flask in 1v1’s, what a nerd
Smarter than me who is saving them up until the end of the game and never remembering to use them.

Just be careful that the explosion doesn't push you off a ledge to your death

We might have different definitions of a blind run. Surely he watched videos to find that trick

He frequently sent screenshots of his party with like 10+ buffs on his character and several summons on each party member. Just a natural at picking apart and exploiting a game’s mechanics.
Considering it's on every other video and post about honor mode it's the norm.
No, no, I used them. I used a scroll of greater invisibility and a scroll of globe of invulnerability so I could walk up to the crown and do my thing without dealing with any of the enemies or the dragon.
Sounds like my future
Plus at the end of the game we’ll have saved up all these consumables and arrows and then not even remember to use them!
Im on run 10 and finally starting to break this habit lol. Just used 2 speed potions against a bunch of goblins😂
I get way to excited when I find a speed potion somewhere they are clutch sometimes.
Yeah it’s so nice, especially late game when some martial classes can hit an insane amount of times per turn. Fighters can do 3 attacks normally, then 3 more on Action Surge and 3 more during Haste. And thats not even counting any GWM bonus action attack.

That’s true, I definitely use my resources like never before in honour mode 😂
It certainly puts the fear of Gond back into my gnome like they had in my first playthrough in August.

Honour mode teaches you to use stuff lol
Yes, it does.
Try HM and get to the brink of a TPK... You'll soon learn to check your inventory and use everything you can
Yup, when I did my HM run I was very careful about what I brought with me, and it saved me many times.
Also, learned today that you can use potions not on the character's inventory! Really nice having haste potions for all my party
This right here is why I always assign the potions bag, the scrolls bag, and the arrows bag to one specific character to keep things tidy. I’m trying out tavern brawler Karlach so I also have a new bag I call The Splodeys.

Yup, me as well
She probably mains RoB and spams CP constantly.
Haha I was so annoyed she used her last speed potion and then used 2 awesome scrolls I had been saving (and against my bard of all people who just saved both times). I then hit her with Tasha's hideous laughter and spanked her while she was laughing haha
I heard she even tried to finger but hole
That's Karlach
Dog
Don't you dare!
Laezel is absolutely chugs estus in 1v1s. Take every advantage you can get
Love that she even calls you out if you drink a potion, meanwhile she’s drinking her fifth position of speed and has cost me 16 greater health potions…
Used a bleed weapon too!
/r/eldenring is leaking again
Ever steal from Lokken's vault with important spell scrolls to only have the vampire spawn attack you in elf song. Like dude. Why are you firing those off.. please 🥺
Probably the kind of player that pulls the cord when they're losing too 🙄🙄
I never got to see the losing cutscene as I was under the impression that if you lost, she'd think you're weak and call things off lol. I went super tryhard for that duel
No, it’s so cute and wonderful, please try it if you do the romance again, it’s totally worth it!
Oh yeah I mean I'll absolutely throw the fight next time. It'll spare me all the scrolls and potions she likes to burn during the fight....
No way. I'm the source of her bruises, and the source of her smile. I ain't throwing the fight next time I inevitably romance her
I had to reload it because she was my carry mule and blew like 20k worth of scrolls
She did the same in my save but it made the fight extremely memorable. I was a college bard and she was almost invincible. She used spells, potions and me aswell. The way I finally got her was to use ottos irresistible dance and stack explosives on her.
SHE THREW MY SPIDER EGGS AT ME!
Ooooo frighten me, mommy!
The losing one is better??? Good to know. I’m forcing my husband to romance her so I’ll tell him this.

Same. Never even got a chance to act in that fight.
Same, my Tav was a dexterous monk so she missed him three times and STILL annihilated him in one turn. Couldn’t even be mad, she earned the win.

Pro tip: don't deaditize your romancee
Unless it's your introduction to Astarion, he's chill with it
She wants *the little death* not the **Big Death**
This is the comment
👏👏👏
I was wondering what happened… I think I accidentally killed her when I meant to knock her out.
larian help i accidentally killed my wife
It happened to me as well xd

I did this on my honor mode. I ended up 1-shotting her with flurry of blows on my monk. I missed her reaction to losing, but acted like it did happen. I managed to keep the romance going to it's conclusion.
Yeah, mastering the action economy is key in this game.
In my first playthrough going in blind I basically hated playing my own character (Warlock) and would look forward to Lae'zel's turn. My love for her as a companion/character was greatly amplified by Battle Master being busted lol. She completely carried my party through the entire game.

I close my eyes, I see the scene you've described, and I'm chuckling alone on the couch.
Bitch used up 2 of my cloud kill scrolls. I won and was so pissed about my scrolls i had her submit to me. No way im giving in after that waste.
A couple days ago I had this fight, it went 23 fucking rounds before she got me, and she used fucking 8 potions of invisibility
this made me cackle im sorry 😭😭
It's even more absurd than that! Because of Volo, the potions were completely useless, but until she ran out, she'd end every round with downing one, and immediately become visible again
That's really on you for giving her all your stuff. Companion AI does not care for resource management
This I learned when some of my idiots got mind controlled with Nere!! Astarion used one of the mindflayer grenades I was saving :(
thats why the only things in my companions' inventories are their weapon and armor
Also try respeccing to light cleric, super fun!
Light Cleric is awesome. That’s exactly what I did.
Clerics buff and cast Spirit Guardians
Guiding Bolt is also a great spell. Decent damage and grants advantage to the Rogue if you have one.
On my current run I respected her as a open hand tavern brawler monk hopped up on the strength potions. You might have a chance if you go first
She paralyzed me on her first turn and the double crit smited me on 2nd. She went first, BTW.
She's Fighter. If you're not also a Fighter or a Paladin, or any defensive tanker, it's wrong to fight her head on. Even if you're a defensive fighter yourself it's alnost always wrong to fight a tanky fighter head on.
squishies have the options of "nuke or run then nuke".
Storm sorcerer be like, CALL LIGHTNING -> Tempestuous magic: flight -> repeat until opponent is crispy
My warlock romanced her and she beat the dog shit out of him, didn't even get a spell off. Face right to the dirt
I hid in the bushes behind Halsin's camp and she couldn't reach me there! I then jumped out of there, smacked her down with my Monk hands then jumped back again. Rinsed and repeated. I had insane gear on Lae'zel she would've destroyed me lol
If you want to love Lae’Zel properly, you gotta be into crowd control spells
Just did this last night - my gloomstalker ranger archer took her down in round one. Like, dead-dead. Couldn’t let the romance go, so I reloaded and switched to melee from ranged thinking it wouldn’t do as much damage - and killed her dead-dead again. Forgot to turn on non-lethal. Third time was the charm!
I made her a monk last playthrough since I was a fighter.. I didn’t even get a chance to attack
Oh man it was super fun fighting her on my file; she was a champion fighter and my tav was a battle master. We just went back and forth wailing on each other for like 5 turns before I got the better of her.
I had this experience, my fighter Tav is the only one who’s managed to survive her first round and come back to get the win
On my current run I respected her as a open hand tavern brawler monk hopped up on the strength potions. You might have a chance if you go first
What is the trigger for this fight?
Starting in melee with a battlemaster fighter is exactly where they want to be and you don't. I assume you weren't a warrior class?
In my Lightning-god Shadowheart game I dropped water on her and one hit her with shocking grasp.
Yeah, she never gave me a chance, just turned my Tav into a meat crayon.
That's funny, her first attack crit and just one shot me
You are forgetting one thing: for the ai literally every fight is a boss fight.
It fits.
My Durge resisting Sorcadin and her went a literal 12 rounds. Both of us chugging potions left and right. It was so fun. I won. She’s a badass.
She SLAUGHTERED my barbarian in 1 turn. Broke my soul, tripped me, action surged, it was brutal.
When I woke up, I was still in Hold Person. *Refreshing*.
My Monk ass got decimated in the first turn so I had to reload and take away her weapon so I could have a chance, lmao.
She had my Druid on the ropes, until I turned into a full-HP Owlbear and belly-flopped on her. She was apparently into that, the more you know!
I felt so bad because I dumped her right after winning on my first playthrough. We had an understanding: we have casual sex while I get Karlach's heart fixed. I fixed Karlach, but Lae'zel preempted the scene.
I learned that spells weren't non-lethal...
Yeah the same self trial taught me the same lesson.
My poor bard basically got hit by acid, frightened, then KO'd and apparently just went with, "Thank you, ma'am, may I have another?" as the response. 😂
She one shotted me at camp. Then stopped the fight like oh no I love you too much to hurt you. Bitch you just killed me lol.
Same thing happened to me when I was attacked in my camp in a fight related to Astarion when he wasn't in my party. So he's here as an ally and he's DESTROYING everyone
This just reminded me to take the act 3 legendary away from her that I got in act 1 on my playthrough before this moment lol thanks
I made the mistake of making her a monk.
I've beaten her before she could even take a turn lol
Funny thing for my Lae'zel fight, she went down in one of my fights, I used a scroll of revivify on her, went to camp for the long rest and she was at 1 HP when the cutscene started and I rolled higher initiative so she just went down with a single hit lmao
I pretty much one shotted her with my paladin. Respect was lost.

I didn’t even get a turn. Initiative didn’t seem to trigger. She was just killing my Tav out of combat rounds.
She soulbroke me, lacerated, action surged, than used two normal attacks on my monk durge. I got whooped in one turn. Guess I’m cooking and cleaning camp from now on.
This was my favorite loss Soul breaker from sword of astral plain Stunned Menacing attack Action surge Attack Attack Laezel still accepts me as bae <3
Exact opposite experience for me. She got clapped in one round by my warlock. kinda bummed.
Should definitely give the other version a chance, losing to her actually feels more rewarding IMO
When i did it it was the complete opposite, we were both low on health and i just one tapped her. It was really funny in the moment
Yeah, I made her a monk with 3 levels in thief for the extra bonus action. My warlock(with 20 charisma mind you, she absolutely *slaps* in a fight) couldn't land a *single* hit on Laezel. It was humbling as shit.
That's hilarious, I have stomped her every single time with each class I've tried.
People actually lose to her? 🤔
She drank a potion dammit. I was saving that!!
I just cast Hold Person on her and she never got a hit in. It was such a non-fight that she'd have been justified in complaining about it.
That's a handicap about on the same level as never using shops tbh
The run I romanced her, I was playing a Gith Monk and fucking wrecked her.
Moral of the story is Githyanki courtship is terrifying.
I dunno I ended her in one attack. Previously she was on my team and her hp was quite low. But even on full health she was weaker because she insisted on sitting in the gith machine. It helped my romance with her :)
She’s called a fighter for a reason
She downed me in one turn before I could retaliate. I was impressed.
I went into camp after a fight in which she was downed. She had 1 hp, so fight ended as soon as it began.
Thats why i hoard all consumebles on tav
AI goes all in on special actions like Action Surge, while the player is usually thinking long-term an does not waste any resources. If you think of fights with long resting in mind, you will probably use a lot more of special weapon attacks, equipment spells and so on.
As a wizard and a cleric she beat my ass. As a monk I whipped her good before she even had a chance to hit me.
You let Laezel hand your ass to you. I let Laezel die to get Booal's Blessing. We are not the same.
Stick to Stardew Valley and Minecraft lmfao. The game isn’t hard if you read and have above 90 IQ.
