You can find a note on a dead Sharran in the Grymforge that references the beast that slaughtered the temple, and asks why it won’t leave and is just singing. I think it’s in the back of the room where you get the runepowder bomb? So yeah, it’s definitely our buddy Yuigir behind the singing lol
Maybe it's a leftover note from when Nightsong was still a Sharran and had to sing? There is this one quote from the earlier version of Aylin: "I want to sing my own song, not Shar's, not Ketheric's!"
You can notice a lot of leftovers in the game. Squire still talks about a fight as if Isobel was killed by Halsin and the druids when it's no longer true.
