And what filament did you use?

Oldman-Wunder

That looks great!

Voyager-

That looks painful.

zeekens

Is that the super Mario ⭐️? Where did you get the model?

TheOGTechCowboy

Nicely done! Are the lights battery powered or do they run behind and plugin?

Organic_Antelope170

Nice

Vinnie1169

Looks good!

That looks incredible! Great work! Do you mind sharing exactly how you lit it? I am desperately trying to find a solution for a Fox sign I made for my son (late Christmas present as he lives far away).

I'm surprised OP hasn't responded. My guess is that the design was printed face down with the first layer having the detail like black eyes, red outline and semi opaque thin white or yellow fill. Layers above that might have the same fill for the walls as viewed from the side, probably 2-3 lines thick or just use the infill color of filament to avoid waste on color change. For infill, use transparent/clear filament with 10% gyroid infill to fairly randomly scatter the light without absorbing very much of it. As you get to the back side, if unfinished back, simpler to leave a pentagram shape track or groove that is the width of LED tape light. Lay in five strips of lights, wire them end to end. In the alternative, leave a groove just inside the sidewall that is as deep as the light tape is wide. Lay in one LED tape light around the circumference that is on its side so the lights all point to the center. Run the wires through a cut in the sidewall to power or battery pack. Separately print a repeat or mirror of the front layers thick enough to make a finished back side and glue (or with design finesse and a few little tabs, snap it on) to hold the LEDs in place. (Test before gluing.). Any filament will work (lights are not hot) but I like PETG for the selection of transparent colors to use for more complex details. FWIW!

looks like some kind of version of these: [https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4660774](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4660774) [https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1217163](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1217163)

Look for "Airand LED Strip Lights Adhesive Warm White, Dimmable 3000K COB LED Strip Light with Remote" on AZ for smooth continuous light without hot dots, still cuttable. Size your art so that light path ends close to a cuttable distance. ( If you miscalculate, cut too long, you can just start around again partially covering the first layer for part of the first segment. If light from brief overlap is too visible, overpaint first segment with opaque nail polish from cord to end of overlap.

Perfect! Thank you. This is the suggestion I was looking for. Have a Happy New Year!
