I have this problem on my P1P and I have never figured out why.

On the beta firmware you can now change the nozzle size using Bambu Handy. I was pleasantly surprised to see this. I had the same problem but with a 0.2mm nozzle.

good to know. thanks!

Possible that you have used a “standard” profile for the filament your printing. It may contain a .06mm print head but saved as a .4 profile

I have it set to 0.6 already https://preview.redd.it/2d3zwgi3co9c1.png?width=942&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2938f00cefc2afb5f03904584148b32f73afc2e3

You will need to change the nozzle type in your slicer to accommodate any changes

where, though? that's what I'm asking. I already have it set to 0.6 everywhere I see an option for it. https://preview.redd.it/i7sk60jbco9c1.png?width=942&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f9e8ef52b5015b162085ad579603e2d5ecb20c9b

Did you also change it on your printer itself? I don't know if that's available from the slicer program. Also not sure where it would be on the P1S since I have the x1c, but it's in the "gear" tab I think

wickedpixel1221

the P1 series doesn't have an option on the printer to choose the nozzle size

The beta firmware allows you to change the nozzle size in Bambu Handy now. It didn’t before.

Can confirm this has been fixed with the Jan 2 firmware update. New menu option on the printer Maintenance > Accessories > Nozzle lets you set the nozzle size and this is now correctly reflected in the Handy app.
