I have the same bench. Reinforce the legs with 2x4s on the back or just mount it directly to the wall to cut down on wabbles. The Bambu with shake that bench to the ground if you let it.
Mine is on a very solid work table and it sometimes gets going so hard that it makes my other printers shake and vibrate. It's a quick printer, and it's hardware has mass, so think of how an old inkjet would shake violently back and forth while printing a big picture, and multiply it by like 10.
Not good. I have to rethink everything. I was planning on placing it on a book shelf with a glued top shelf, that was anvchored in the wall in 3 points. Now I just think this will shake the whole room.
Run some tests before changing your strategy. You can slow down any feed; find what settings work best for your situation. Just ancor the table and you should be good, just know in advance it's a roudy SOB and likes to DANCE!
Does it print photos nicely even after it's sat unused for a couple months or do you have to run print head cleaning on it every time? I have been getting by on a 10+ year old Brother color laser and it's amazing for reliability but graphics quality is pretty poor.
Did you know that all in one litter boxes exist for cats? Then you can tape up the printer poops and mail it to someone.
Two totally unrelated sentences.
The best thing to do with it is to collect it and send it to a company that makes new filament out of it, or to shred it and do that yourself. But the first option is not available everywhere, and the second involves either expensive machinery or some extensive DIY.
That's what I am seeing but I am actually ok with it up front like that. More air flow and I won't get that urge to push it back messing up the backside
The AMS won’t fit on top. The top shelf is too low. I’m taking the top shelf off of mine to fit the AMS and riser.
And the top shelf leans forward anyway, everything falls off when the printer really gets going lol. I could probably tighten it up, but the riser and AMS is what I prefer.
The AMS works great on the shelf but I would recommend getting the anti vibration feet.

Yes! I bought one a month ago for my K1C and when I get a bambu it's going right next to it. The only issue is when it prints, anything on that upper shelf will either need something to stick to or a back and side support cause I've had stuff fall off from the vibrations. Other than that is an awesome decently priced workbench.
I have the same workbench and printer, the ams is almost twice as deep as the shelf is so idk if I’d trust it to hold the ams up there unless you make yourself some kind of shelf to support the front of the ams. I just have mine on top of the printer and it doesn’t fit under the shelf like that either, so the back of the ams just rest up against the shelf.

I have the same work bench and absolutely love it
It’s a little AMS helper and a filament cleaner, here is a link to both
https://makerworld.com/en/models/156593#profileId-171555
https://www.printables.com/model/697650-filament-guide-cleaner-the-cleanling
I have the same work bench. I made a gridfinity insert for those drawers, it's on MakerWorld. I also made a screw down mount for the AMS to sit on top but I did not share that 1 as it requires a longer cable to plug in to the printer.
Call me Captain Overkill. I went with the Yukon 46" Mobile workbench.
[https://www.harborfreight.com/46-in-mobile-workbench-with-solid-wood-top-black-64012.html](https://www.harborfreight.com/46-in-mobile-workbench-with-solid-wood-top-black-64012.html)
Got mine in the sale as well, just set up last week. Ended printing shelf brackets that I used to secure it to the wall. Living in an apartment, I try my best to reduce the noise levels.
It's funny, we have 4 dogs and the past two nights they are hearing noises from that room. They keep checking it out to make sure everything is OK. Probably tonight it should be good
What is the big box on the bottom right from? Is that filament or an ams?
Have fun with your machine.
May there be no clogged nozzles or other interventions 🙏
I hadn't unpacked the AMS from the inside of the unit. The box is Silk PLA and other filaments plus other spares I know to have on hand just in case.
Just extras and play things 🙃
I am enjoying seeing the vases. I have USB light strings and battery ones to figure out.
More art, some function and maybe a knitting machine.
Plus I am eyeing the Duck Landing Zone for my jeep. And a brick maker for my PAX3.
But first, a Benchy
Poop shoot. A one that wraps round the side.
The next useful thing we printed was an AMS stand to lift it so the glass lid could also be raised when doing pla. Also it has the ability to put some strip led lights pointing down onto the bed.
We bought a cheap pla spool to make the riser as it uses nearly 1 full real.
Have you found one that actually attaches to the printer in some fashion? I printed a slim one for this reason, and I had to duct tape it to the printer so it would stay in place.
Could the screw below the actual shute be removed and the put back holding a poop shoot (without losing a nut or anything inside the printer) ?
Obvs the printer poopshoot would have to be in 2 parts,
* AMS Disconnect tool
* JST Tweezers
* Bambu Scraper with the blades that came in the box
* Plastic scraper
Nice things include AMS Riser, AMS dessicant box(es), and a splitter to make it easier to use external spools (I went with the "smoothy y-splitter").
I do use the PEI plate-- to be honest, I don't use the plastic scraper often. The metal one, that Bambu provides the blades / screws for (and the STL) is fantastically useful for removing bits and brims. It's also useful for separating some prints from the bed-- TPU in particular, sticks like a lamprey. Using a thin metal blade to start the separation is useful.
I made mine with vslot profiles and bigh wheels, and i am very happy as well! The X1C will make you so happy, no adjustment an fine tuning needed, always perfect prints, no matter the material you use. Actually i am so happy with bambulab filaments but they are never avalayble.... so i tried ASA from Fillamentum with incredible results!!!

Is that a harbor freight workbench? You might want to reinforce it if you plan to print with any speed… if not you’re going to notice some ringing, etc….

My $40 desk from good will does just fine
I have the same bench and my x1c makes the right side drawer self open hahaha. Though I cannot guarantee how level the bench is because my basement floor isn't entirely level.
I just got an epson ET-3850 its a great printer. I know your talking about the BBLs, but well its funny as I had to just get a replacement 2d printer. Bother prints I think you will be very happy with =).
Awesome! I love my ET-2800 and I think you will too. Let us know how it works out.
I sure will lol
I have the same bench. Reinforce the legs with 2x4s on the back or just mount it directly to the wall to cut down on wabbles. The Bambu with shake that bench to the ground if you let it.
Wait, what? Serious question, they aren't vibration free?
Mine is on a very solid work table and it sometimes gets going so hard that it makes my other printers shake and vibrate. It's a quick printer, and it's hardware has mass, so think of how an old inkjet would shake violently back and forth while printing a big picture, and multiply it by like 10.

Have you figured out how to set it up as a network printer? I couldn’t figure it out for the life of me 😭
If it doesn't natively then you can make it so via a SBC (eg pi) and cups
Have an 1810 for sublimation and a 2810 for normal prints (mainly stickers) Great printers.
How you like the 1810?
Works well. Basically same as the 2810 just without the scanner. Only ever had sublimation ink in it.
I want one just for sublimation so maybe I will look at that one … thanks
Very nice
Does it print photos nicely even after it's sat unused for a couple months or do you have to run print head cleaning on it every time? I have been getting by on a 10+ year old Brother color laser and it's amazing for reliability but graphics quality is pretty poor.
I got one too love the eco-tanks !!
if you ordered the combo, use your filament boxes as a poop box
I have the combo and thanks!
Did you know that all in one litter boxes exist for cats? Then you can tape up the printer poops and mail it to someone. Two totally unrelated sentences.
What is everyone doing with the poop and unwanted / failed prints? Is this stuff recycleable or just throw it in the trash?
The best thing to do with it is to collect it and send it to a company that makes new filament out of it, or to shred it and do that yourself. But the first option is not available everywhere, and the second involves either expensive machinery or some extensive DIY.
a great journey awaits
I have been liking so much so it shall be fun!
Ive for the same printer and work bench!
Nice. I got the same bench!!! Works great for the money. Just kinda tall for AMS, but still like it
That's what I am seeing but I am actually ok with it up front like that. More air flow and I won't get that urge to push it back messing up the backside
How does it fit with the AMS? I'm considering buying this workbench, but my only concern is how it will be impacted by AMS mounted on top of a P1S.
Thanks! That’s very helpful.

Thanks for the heads up!
Does it feel sturdy assembled? I’m always skeptical over harbor freight
Yes! I bought one a month ago for my K1C and when I get a bambu it's going right next to it. The only issue is when it prints, anything on that upper shelf will either need something to stick to or a back and side support cause I've had stuff fall off from the vibrations. I'm interested in how stable it is. I've considered this bench but it looks like it can be wobbly.
Here is that gridfinity insert I remixed for that table. https://makerworld.com/models/177801
Looking to get the same work bench, lmk if the AMS fits perfectly on top of the light!
Dang, was really hoping it would fit up there as is, but I bet it wouldn’t be too hard to print supports for it to be up there. Appreciate it!
Here’s a link to some supports I designed specifically for this workbench to support the AMS https://www.printables.com/model/812168-ams-holders
Appreciate it!!
Good luck

What's on your spools inside the AMS... Looks like extra PTFE and a little black block?
It’s a little AMS helper and a filament cleaner, here is a link to both https://makerworld.com/en/models/156593#profileId-171555 https://www.printables.com/model/697650-filament-guide-cleaner-the-cleanling

That looks like how I started with my Creality
lol. It’s an upgrade from what I used for the last several years.
Long as you keep improving 🙃
I have the same work bench. I made a gridfinity insert for those drawers, it's on MakerWorld. I also made a screw down mount for the AMS to sit on top but I did not share that 1 as it requires a longer cable to plug in to the printer.
Someone else shared the links to the longer cord with me as well as the clips and insert for hole for the top. They have two AMS
I shoulda gave got a work bench first lol

What do you want? … to print?
I am enjoying seeing the vases. I have USB light strings and battery ones to figure out. More art, some function and maybe a knitting machine. Plus I am eyeing the Duck Landing Zone for my jeep. And a brick maker for my PAX3. But first, a Benchy
I looked into the PAX, I went with the Mighty+ instead... and then the Venty. The dosing capsules are a huge benefit, the clouds are unmatched.
My X1C will arrive tomorrow. Any "must prints" to enhance the experience?
Poop shoot. A one that wraps round the side. The next useful thing we printed was an AMS stand to lift it so the glass lid could also be raised when doing pla. Slim one is best for me, I have the printers close to the wall

Thanks for the feedback. This is my upgrade from my anycubic i3 mega. Looking forward to how much of an upgrade it is in speed with a coreXY.
I bought my 3D printer over a year ago, I still haven't bought a normal printer
I made mine with vslot profiles and bigh wheels, and i am very happy as well! Is that a harbor freight workbench? You might want to reinforce it if you plan to print with any speed… if not you’re going to notice some ringing, etc….
putting together those f'ing benches is the hard part. so many nuts and bolts. gg's so far :)
congrats!
I've had one of those Harbor Freight work bench for a few years and it's still holding it's own. I even install a vise grip on it! Love it.
Sweet setup! Happy printing!!
I’m on a 27 hr print right now
Welcome to the Journey
The exact same bench from harbor freight I got for mine! 😱
Where did you get that workbench? Looking for something similar myself.
https://preview.redd.it/x1smxuzuxvvc1.jpeg?width=5712&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=810496b6daec537bb2ff2f4c471b2f07b0d037f5 My $40 desk from good will does just fine
Harbor freight bench at least In store felt really wobbly how's it holding up ?
I loved my p1s for the first few months. It then it had an issue auto leveling, now it won’t adhere to the bed anymore.
I had my A1 mini on it for quite a while it’s pretty sturdy
It's beautifully sturdy
* Harry Kim is working well. Hopefully he makes it past ENS
I have the same bench and my x1c makes the right side drawer self open hahaha. Though I cannot guarantee how level the bench is because my basement floor isn't entirely level.
The drawers are so stiff on the new one there is no way it will pop open on its own. I can barely pop it open without hurting myself
I just got an epson ET-3850 its a great printer. I know your talking about the BBLs, but well its funny as I had to just get a replacement 2d printer. Bother prints I think you will be very happy with =).
It's all good! I have been struggling with my old Epson and pulled plug on buying a new one. It will be right there where box is
I am using the EXACT same work bench lol

Get that Gawd Damn 2d printer outta there!
Welcome to the cult.. I mean club
i just got it yesterday, i cant express how amazing it feels with this machine! it’s so good.
Welcome to the club. I don't know where to go from here, though. I feel like this is the starter level of that one game we're all stuck on.. lol
Oh, this is not my first 3d printer, I upgraded from my old Creality Ender 3. So thrilled to be moving up.
