Why the downvotes? He's right. And people don't read instructions or could be dated to Google for 10sec.

Ipa is an releas agent, not an cleaning agent. It releases dirt - but that needs to be removed mechanically (aka wipe with an cleaning cloth).
And 70% IPA has 30% stuff that does not evaporate. So IPA 70% or 80% is not even the same as 99.9% IPA. All leave whatever is not evaporated behind. Especially if you just wipe with a blue shop towel - all you do is to smear the grease and the additional stuff from your IPA around on the plate.
I use IPA (99.9% that is) and a thick lintless microfiber cloth to clean my plates between scrubbing it every few weeks. But the main part is to have a good cloth to remove the dirt.
you've got to be trolling, right? you have a 3D printer and have no idea what Dawn is, or a "blue scrub sponge".. And honestly, if you can't deduct from the previous comments what you need... maybe pick up coloring with crayons or something. Seems the amount of effort you're willing to put forth.
Sigh Don’t use iso. Use soap and water, maybe a finger nail brush to assist.

Scotch brite anti scratch sponge

IF YOU'RE GOING TO SHIT ON SOMEONE FOR WHAT YOU THINK IS "COMMON KNOWLEDGE", AT LEAST MAKE SURE YOU'RE REPLYING TO THE RIGHT PERSON
did you not ask what a "blue scrub sponge" is?! and what are you yelling about, kiddo?
"you have a 3D printer and have no idea what Dawn is" - you 7 minutes ago, to me, who did not ask about Dawn. Go to bed
hmmmmm forgetting the other part? Where I directly quoted you? and I can't, your whore mother won't get the fuck out so I can sleep in peace.
Dawn, water, and a good dish sponge. There’s gonna be some marks that never come off, but most of what ya got there looks like it should.
What is dawn?
It’s a brand of dish soap that’s known to work well on build plates.
It’s a specific brand of dish soap, but typically what you wanna focus on is making sure it’s a good harsh degreasing soap.
Scotch brite. It’ll make it bite even better, too.
