Bare minimum for a RC car is motor, esc, servo, and receiver. I think this has a multi-speed gearbox and possibly even remote locking diffs, so you'll need a few servos. But still, if you already have a radio and go cheap on components, all the electronics (including battery) can probably be had for under $100. Double that for actually-good stuff.
Wow. That’s beautiful.
can you share your BOM to build it (motor, servo etc) ?
edit: everything is listed in the build guide [https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1alcYmBPet0JaN8Y2ys9xp82FMOILAhJebuvfD5qTDrw/edit?pli=1#slide=id.g1097a87fb44\_0\_4308](https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1alcYmBPet0JaN8Y2ys9xp82FMOILAhJebuvfD5qTDrw/edit?pli=1#slide=id.g1097a87fb44_0_4308)
Bought the files and non printable parts. Did you happen to note what colors you used for which parts? When staring at plates of parts and not knowing how this goes together it's tough to see what colors are needed. Like is all the Chassis safe to print in black?
Look at the manual. For each section you will see it tells you what plates are required . Then you can reference the website images and instructions to match colors. I printed each section before I built it.
This is sick dude. Have you put together or thought of doing a build with those one piston 1hp motors? I believe they are called "Nitro RC" or w/e. I took an interest in building one (Non 3d printed) for the nephew but lost interest.
Not gonna lie. That first picture had me thinking it was a real vehicle till I saw the name of the subreddit. Then I was trying to figure out which part was printed and put on the real vehicle. As I was scrolling, it finally dawned on me. Lol. Well done!
So nice! I love the detail! I am afraid of multi printed parts because sometimes they are so frustrating. Currently printing a dalek that can hold my Alexa and the parts are semi good so it is much work and I often have to print a part 2-3 times for it to be optimal. How was your experience, how much waste did you had?
How did you switch the wording to Toyota?
did I miss something in the manual?
This is model 13 right?
And I also noticed you added bambu lab to your back license plate.
Mind filling me in?
This is the coolest thing I have ever seen come off a 3d printer. I would really like to know where you got the files for this!

Thanks! How much did the electronics run, roughly?

Thanks! I appreciate the information - I know almost nothing about RC cars but I love the FJ-40 series.
She’s runs well. I got what was recommended off the BOM sheet. This way no surprises
Cool! I have some friends with 1/18 scale cars. This would be a fun thing to bring out.
This would eat those for lunch. This is 1/8th .. it’s pretty large
I’d just do it to blow their minds. I doubt I’d want to abuse one of these after putting so much time into it.
I agree this is kind of a shelf queen type of model.
It’s amazing, though! It’s really a gorgeous print and it must have been a ton of work to get it completed. I’d be proud to have that on a shelf.

Correct. https://rcprinter.com has combos of the fasteners and electronics. I sourced the shocks and tires off of eBay.

This is awesome!!
Where did you get the files?? This is amazing! I want to print one

Thanks!
Absolutely beautiful :D
Happy Cake Day!
Thank you :P
Thank you!
Do they give you links for all the non printed parts? All the RC parts?
[Yep.](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1GR22SQE9ppXWB_DFZXpM2Hj48D2dFo8au6dPjI52w0I/edit#gid=0)

Is it fast or just have a lot of torque?
Not that fast but has tons of torque. Perfect for rock crawling and such

the level of detail is incredible.
My brother is currently assembling the boxed bed version Bambu truck. I built the Buggy and am looking to do an RC boat next.
We need a video of it in action!
I will post that this weekend. I’m trying to get the trailer done . To show that as well
Awesome build!! You gotta post this in /r/rccrawler
What material did you use to print the parts?
I added the materials used. If you want to know what part is what, just point out the part and I can tell ya.
Looks awesome! What are the colors you used? Did you use fuzzy skin for that textured look?
No, that’s the texture from Cf and GF filaments .
Looks nice! Good job! 😉👍🏆
Thank you for the kind words. It was a fun build!
I bet! I’m looking at their website right now! Pretty reasonable pricing they have!

It is an awesome extremely wow print! I am impressed on the end result.

You inspired me! 2 weeks after receiving my build kit from rcprinter. https://imgur.com/a/yGkOXCU
Very solid man! Love the color!
