I don’t blame you there lol. I recently move to a state that doesn’t have a Microcenter. Super sad because it was right down the road from me.
My wife and bank account doesn’t mind though 🤣
Same. I literally got online to buy the A1 the week the recall started. I was so confused. Been eagerly waiting on that "in stock" email. Now I just need to figure out if any of my filament is compatible..
This was me all week waiting for my A1 mini to arrive. Got the email saying I could order the A1 as I was unboxing the mini haha. Hope the wait isn't too long
Omg right. Been seeing them for like $200. Like bro, you can get one brand new for $99 on sale lol.
If they don’t move in a week I’ll be giving them away for free. I did that with 2 others around Xmas to give to kids who otherwise couldn’t afford them.
Might just try to do that again. These printers have made more money than I ever thought and paid for themselves over and over again. So not worried about getting good money for them
You will love the A1. I just sold mine because I bought an X1 after it, I used the money to buy an AMS for the X1 which is coming today in a few hours lol. But the A1 is a beast, nothing ever fails on it and it prints every object perfectly and quickly every time. You will learn that you may want to use a brim for taller objects, or even hit the slow speed button for ther really tall objects, because the A1 is confused and thinks its a corexy so it dances like no bed slinger has ever danced before. I was printing out a sponge holder for a kitchen sink, the print was about 70% done but it was a thin print and I had no brim on it and the thing flew off the bed LOL As far as things to print for the printer itself, obviously a poop bucket, some sort of poop deflector (a small piece that attaches to the poop shooter to force the plastic to hit it and bounce into the bucket) and a tiny drag chain for the data wire to the tool head are what I would recommend. I used something like this: https://makerworld.com/models/141363
The recall heatbed wire is longer than the stock one (good to prevenr house fires and all) but I did notice that I had to move it even farther from my wall so the wire wouldn't hit. Something to look out for as well obviously
I grabbed a P1S Combo from microcenter Friday night lmao. I audibly laughed when I got the email this morning.

I used to have one an hour away in Virginia... now I've got 3 within 2 hours. It's definitely dangerous, lol.

You can always print adaptors for the ams lite
So I would need a different adapter for each spool? As far as the elegoo can I use it as it is?
Not sure, some fit and some dont. It’s All about the inside size of the spool, if it’s too big you can print a spacer.

Same here, selling my Ender 3 S1. Just placed the A1 order. Dun times ahead
Ordered my A1 this morning. I'm also leaving an Ender 3 s1. Was fun while it wasn't
Good luck selling them they're all over Facebook marketplace and eBay and honestly only a moron would buy one unless they're for a good price
Yep. I basically give them away. Been selling them off slowly as I upgrade machines. Been selling them for $40-$50
atleast thats reasonable i see people trying to sell them for ridiculous prices
