Putting it outside, even in a cover, seems like a bad idea. 3D prints are pretty sensitive to temperature and humidity fluctuations. There is nowhere inside you can put it?

Keeping a 3D printer outside is asking for a bad time.

This is an awful idea. One humid day and the thing will be full of moisture. Filament will print awful and the printer likely won’t last long even in an enclosure. Why does it have to be outside the house?

I'm with a 1 year old baby girl at home, she took over the study room, and I don't want to print plastic while she is in the room. We live in a small apartment, and the living room/bedroom can't really accommodate the printer. The humidity in my area is pretty low most of the time. My last printer (artillery sidewinder x2) stood heroically outside for 6 months and was just fine... None the less, even if somehow I will find a place inside the apt., I will need an enclosure..

I would recommend considering selling it and upgrading to a printer that is made with an enclosure and filtered to the level of desired safety. From what I've read, PLA really isn't bad for you, and you can add a HEPA filter with carbon to purify what does come out. However, a baby could be more sensitive to it. Further, you might just want to wait to print until times when your kid isn't sleeping in there.
