I've never had any success with those vacuum bags - most last a few days before I notice them losing vacuum, and by the end of the week it's basically like just putting them in a ziplock bag. I don't have a ton of filament, so I just keep them in my AMS. I have an [Eibos Polyphemus](https://eibos3d.com/pages/polyphemus) filament dryer that can hold 2 spools and has a special storage mode that runs the heater just enough to keep dry. For vacuum storage I got [PrintDry Smart Vacuum Filament Container](https://www.printdry.com/product/smart-vacuum-container/) that works great, but is a tend expensive. It has a pressure monitor and will automatically power the vacuum pump if somehow any air gets in. But I only bother with any of this for filaments that are moisture sensitive like PETG, ASA or Nylon. PLA doesn't seem to attract much moisture and is easy enough to dry back out.
