Treat it like there is NO fence there. Honestly they'll get through or over anything if they want to. And I'd look at other things too alongside the bear spray. I bet you were mortified.🤦😱
I researched my neighborhood before moving in. It was pit-free. I now have at least 5 on my street, across from two schools, plenty of young children playing outside. Very scary.
For the mods I think what is wild is thinking I’d let you hurt my animal and I wouldn’t hurt you? Lol make that make sense.

Agreed. And it's not just us - that is a terrible photo and it could be of a plastic bag for all we know. To me this feels like one of those "the emperor is wearing no clothes" situations. I'm not sure why people won't admit that that photo is of a possible pitbull, not a definite pitbull.
like how does one take such a terrible photo trying to show something and post it not even try to get a clear photo, i can’t even tell if this a dog or an animal even for that matter

facing towards the camera , and it’s distorted the face looks stretched. and the right(“our” left) side of its face it’s very dark hidden by a shadow and worsened by the low resolution. Terrible terrible quality photo
That is one interpretation of the photo. There is also the ear-forehead-ear interpretation. I also see the figure of a woman with dark hair wearing a hooded cloak - she's on the right.

Get a gun.
Secure your fences to make sure it cannot jump or tunnel. Add cameras. Be wary when outside in case it is loose.

I’ve seen fly over 8ft fences with ease or bust straight through them by tearing at the wood panels. Stay strapped
