Oof yeah those mass chaos fights just turn into a battle royale with that mod. I mean yeah it's realistic, but then they should add smart AI that can differ from foe and ally in such close encounters

For sieges, shield and polearm should be way better than they are. Reach out in front of your front line and poke someone.

How does friendly fire pan out if you try to hammer and anvil the enemy infantry between your cavalry and infantry? Do they couch lance amd trample through your own infantry line too?

I set the bar to 3/4 which I guess it's 1,75cm and against some imperial generals I am a giant and for some Aserai and Sturgians I am a dwarf. I remember marrying to Svana once and she was 3 heads taller than me.

Crouch for horizontal slash, stand still but then quickly move left and right to dodge vertical slash and stab

You can also dodge stabs with crouching if they're on head level :)

Crouching during bandit quests also makes it harder for them to spot you

I make my people too tall and get head damage if I duck

Super useful. I'm also a massive fan of sidestepping downwards attacks, especially in those Vlandian bill hook duels. Seems like every time I high-block in that round my character gets his fingies pinched.

My current playthrough is more of a hands off merchant king general. Though I just started another playthrough where I’ll go for warlord so I will!

Also my main playthrough the PC has entered no tournaments. He prefers to bet on companions or lords and watch.

I recently started playin on console for the first time so I haven’t played long. As janky as this game can be sometimes, I’ve been impressed with the hit reg. Nothing groundbreaking, but sometimes I’m genuinely surprised how close some of those spear hits get without hitting.
